Copper-decorated carbon nanotubes(CNTs) have important applications as precursors for ultraconductive copper wires. Tenorite-decorated CNTs(CuO-CNTs) are ideal candidates and are currently developed using laborious processes. For this reason, we have developed a facile and scalable method for the synthesis of CuO-CNTs from copper acetate. It was found that the optimal loading of copper acetate onto the CNTs was 23.1 wt% and that three 1-minute microwave treatments were sufficient for the decomposition of copper acetate to copper oxide. The loading of copper oxide onto the nanotubes was confirmed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The materials were characterised using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.

In the current study, we determined concentrations and transfer rates of Ag, Al, ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, P, Rb, Sr and Zn to brown birch Scaber Stalks （Leccinum scabrum） mushrooms emerged in the area of Sudety Mountains （Sudetes） in Poland. Fruiting bodies and topsoil samples beneath L. scabrum were collected form the Ktodzka Dale. The trace elements were determined using validated method and inductively coupled plasma - atomic emission spectroscopy （ICP-AES） for final measurement. Mushrooms contained Ag, Cr, Hg, Co, Ni and Sr at 〈 1.0μg/g dry weight; ba and Pb at -1.0μg/g dw; Cd at 〈 5μPg/g dw; Cu and Mn at 〉 10 μg/g dw; Al and Ca at -100μg/g dw; Fe, Na, Rb and Zn at lOO to 500μg/g dw, Mg at -1.000μg/g dw; P at -5,000 μg/g dw and K at -30,000 μg/g dw. Ca, Mn and Ni were nearly equally distributed between stipes and caps; stipes compared to caps were enriched in ba, Na and Sr, while caps were enriched in Ag, Al, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, P, Pb, Rb and Zn. The values of bioconcentration factor （bCF） varied highly depending on chemical element and were 〉1 for Ag, Cd, Cu, K, Mg, Na, P, Rb and Zn, while 〈1 for A1, ba, Ca, Co, Cr, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Sr. Topsoil showed elevated content of lead and mean concentration was 99 ± 32 μg/g dw, while cadmium was at 0.41 ± 0.15 and those two highly toxic to human elements occurred in edible caps of L. scabrum at 4.5 ± 2.2 and 2.9 ± 2.0 μg/g dw, respectively.

AIM To systematically review the literature on epidemiology,disease burden, and treatment outcomes for Crohn's disease(CD) patients with complex perianal *** PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane were searched for relevant articles(published 2000-November 2016) and congress abstracts(published 2011-November 2016).RESULTS Of 535 records reviewed, 62 relevant sources were identified(mostly small observational studies). The cumulative incidence of complex perianal fistulas in CD from two referral-centre studies was 12%-14%(follow-up time, 12 years in one study; not reported in the second study). Complex perianal fistulas result in greatly diminished quality of life; up to 59% of patients are at risk of faecal incontinence. Treatments include combinations of medical and surgical interventions and expanded allogeneic adipose-derived stem cells. High proportions of patients experience lack of or inadequate response to treatment(failure and relapse rates,respectively: medical, 12%-73% and 0%-41%; surgical:0%-100% and 11%.20%; combined medical/surgical:0%-80% and 0%-50%; stem cells: 29%-47% and not reported). Few studies(1 of infliximab; 3 of surgical interventions)have been conducted in treatment-refractory patients, a population with high unmet needs. Limited data exist on the clinical value of anti-tumour necrosis factor-α dose escalation in patients with complex perianal fistulas in *** Complex perianal fistulas in CD pose substantial clinical and humanistic burden. There is a need for effective treatments, especially for patients refractory to antitumour necrosis factor-α agents, as evidenced by high failure and relapse rates.

Objective:This study was aimed at assessing the dynamics of vitronectin (VN), laminin (LN), and heparan sulfate/heparin (HS/HP) content changes during experimental burn healing. Methods:VN, LN, and HS/HP were isolated and purified from normal and injured skin of domestic pigs, on the 3rd, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 21st days following thermal damage. The wounds were treated with apitherapeutic agent (propolis), silver sulfadiazine (SSD), physiological salt solution, and propolis vehicle. VN and LN were quantified using an immunoenzymatic assay and HS/HP was estimated by densitometric analysis. Results:Propolis treatment stimulated significant increases in VN, LN, and HS/HP contents during the initial phase of study, followed by a reduction in the estimated extracellular matrix molecules. Similar patterns, although less extreme, were observed after treatment with SSD. Conclusions:The beneficial effects of propolis on experimental wounds make it a potential apitherapeutic agent in topical burn management.

A well-organized system of internal communication is vital in any organization open to improvement and change, pursuing better management of its resources and caring forgood work atmosphere. Internal communication is primarily to provide efficient, mutual flow of information between employees and management staff at all levels in each area of the organization. In order to present internal communication tools and evaluate their effectiveness a survey study was conducted among the employees of the listed media company Cyfrowy Polsat, one of the two leading private TV groups in Poland. The study involved 136 employees （17% of total employment）. The majority of respondents were male （85%）. All the respondents were 23 to 47 years of age. Almost half were below 24 years of age and 38% represented the age group 25-34 years of age. The majority of respondents declared higher education with master degree and working time exceeding three years. The survey showed that the dominant form of communication is message distribution via electronic channels which confirmed the research assumption that there was a dehumanization of contacts and indirect communication dominated over direct contact. Limited direct contact was also recognized as the major cause of conflicts and disputes. The study was based on the analysis of literature and source materials （reports, statistics, newsletters, and legal acts）. Additionally, the paper provides the presentation of Cyfrowy Polsat＇s position in the Polish media market as well as the strategies and objectives of the company.

This paper is of conceptual nature. The considerations are based on literature studies and empirical research carried out in 2009 and 2011 among the members of supervisory board in Polish public companies. The purpose of this article is to present a new business reporting model extended by the supervisory board＇s reports. The part of this article, which is based on the literature research, clarifies the scope of modem business reporting, being a part of a company＇s information system. This article includes management commentary proposal prepared by the International Accounting Standards board （IASb）. The authors proposed a supplement to the management commentary which is a global model of disclosures accompanying financial statements. According to the concept presented in this article, information prepared and disclosed by managers in financial statements and management commentaries are parts of a larger reporting system-corporate reporting supply chain. This paper mainly proposes an extension of a modem company＇s information system with a new channel of communication, such as supervisory board＇s reports. This article explains the role of a supervisory board associated with the conception. In the prepared conception, supervisory board becomes an active reviewer of management action. Moreover, it is also an active participant in the chain of corporate reports. Deliberations presented in this article are the voices in the debate on the shape of the modem business reporting.

The methods adopted by static physics corroborating the existence of electromagnetic forces are applicable to the theory of financial markets. Perceived from a classically physical angle, the financial market is defined as a system composed of several individual entries cooperating upon electromagnetic principles. The approach concerned gives rise to a certain model of financial market, otherwise known as a minority game. In the case of minority game, the allocation of securities and funds is conditioned exclusively upon the fluctuation of prices, where a higher tendency to purchase goods and stocks results in the scale being more profitable and vice versa. Thus players from a minority group gain a prevailing position.

The paper concerns the issue of ELF （English as a lingua franca） in the European and Asian context. The authors start from a brief conceptual perspective to shed light on salient aspects related to ELF. Then, this paper discusses the study investigating the interactions among NNS （non-native speakers） of English in the naturalistic settings, namely in Zhangjiajie （China）, Masouri （Kalymnos/Greece）, and Unterwasser （Switzerland）. The main objective of the research based on the qualitative methodology was to analyze the ELF interactions from the linguistic point of view focusing on lexicogrammar and pragmatic features. The secondary objective was to establish whether the identified ELF features contributed to communication intelligibility. The obtained results indicated a few significant similarities with the Seidlhofer＇s list of the ELT characteristics. Furthermore, it was established in the study that the ELF features did not interfere with effective communication between interlocutors
