Objective:This study aims to identify the prevalence of bullying in the workplace and to examine its association with turnover(TO)intention and secondary traumatic stress(STS)among Jordanian nurses employed in Emergency Departments(EDs)and critical care units(CCUs).Nurses employed in the EDs and CCUs are exposed to high levels of bullying behaviors that may contribute to STS,leading to high rates of ***:A descriptive cross-sectional design was used.A sample of 150 Jordanian nurses working in CCUs and EDs completed the *** collection was performed using the Demographical Questionnaire,the Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised(NAQ-R),ProQOL scale,and TO *** IBM SPSS software was used to analyze ***:About 10.7%and 89.3%were categorized as“occasionally bullied”and“victims of workplace bullying”*** bullying was positively associated with TO intention(r=0.46,P<0.001)and STS(r=0.36,P<0.001).TO was positively associated with STS(r=0.36,P<0.001).Bullying was a unique significant predictor of TO intention(t=4.59,B=0.34,P<0.001)and STS(t=4.15,B=0.34,P<0.001).Conclusions:Bullying behavior has negative adversarial effects on TO and the experience of *** prevalence of bullying behavior in the EDs and CCUs remains high despite the increasing awareness of its negative *** organizations should put systems in place to ensure that zero-tolerance policy are monitored in terms of the effectiveness of its implementation.

This study aimed to examine the induction of disease resistance, and growth response in chilli plants elicited by plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria [Pseudomonas aeruginosa （UPMP3）, Burkholderia cepacia （UPMB3）, and Serratia marcescens （UPMS3）]. Seed bacterization with UPMP3 and UPMB3 significantly increased peroxidase （PO）, polyphenol oxidase （PPO）, and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase （PAL） activities. This increase corresponded to greater reduction in pre-and post-emergence damping-off caused by Sclerotium rolfsii. UPMS3 alone or as mixture with UPMP3 and UPMB3 did not show any significant reduction in disease incidence. However, all the isolates tested did not inhibit the seed germination and seedling establishment in chilli.

Aamar-e-Advia(shelf-lives) of drugs in Unani system of medicine:A conceptual review

In an era of globalization and increased global demand for herbal medicines, it is essential to ensure the quality and consistency of drugs. Changes in the quality of an herbal product over time should be detectable. The assessments of chemical quality and therapeutic efficacy of herbal drugs are necessary to establish their shelf-lives. Thus, stability testing is needed to establish standards for herbal products. Unani medicine has its own conceptual framework for studying health and disease. The mode of treatment includes Ilaj bit Tadbeer(regimental therapy), Ilaj bil Ghiza(dietotherapy), Ilaj bil Dawa(pharmacotherapy) and Ilaj bil Yad/Jarahat(surgery) as a final option. Ilaj bil Dawa is the most used mode of *** drugs include either crude drugs prepared from plant, animal and mineral sources, called Mufrad(single) drugs or various formulations prepared from these crude drugs, called Murakkab(compound)drugs. To date, stability studies have been carried out on compound drugs, whereas only a few single drugs had had their stability tested. These studies are needed to understand how the quality of an herbal drug varies over the time when it is prepared and consumed. This may also help to standardize procedures for manufacturing compound formulations ab initio. The present study reviews the concept of Aamar-e-Advia(shelf-lives) described in the literature of the Unani system of medicine. Further, various factors that are considered important to assess the shelf-life of Unani drugs are discussed in the context of contemporary protocols for shelf-life assessment.

This research article is based on the biodiesel synthesis from the marine green macroalga Ulva fasciata, collected from the coast of Karachi, Pakistan using new and the most potential waste catalysts from Pakistan Steel *** oil was extracted with n-hexane then it was analyzed by GC, TLC and by the examination of fuel *** metal analysis of catalysts was carried out by chemical tests and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy(FAAS). The thermal treatment of catalysts at 1500–1700 °C during various processes in steel manufacturing industry converted the metals to metal oxides. The presence of CaO, MgO and ZnO in these catalysts made them highly reactive for biodiesel synthesis. The basicity of waste industrial catalysts was calculated to know their basic strength. The transesterification of U. fasciata oil was performed by fast stirring using 9:1 molar ratio of methanol/oil in the presence of seven different waste industrial catalysts for 6 h at 80–100 °C. The solid catalysts were easily separated from product for re-use. In addition, the rate of reaction in the presence of these catalysts was found to be quite feasible. The waste brown dust from the steel converter gave the highest yield(88%) of biodiesel. The production of biodiesel was confirmed by TLC examination and fuel properties in comparison with the ASTM standards.

Low cost co-precipitation method was used to synthesize Cu(0-0.05)doped MgO samples with fixed concertation of Zn=0.01.X-ray diffraction(XRD)spectra confirmed the phase purity of the samples for 0≤Cu≤0.03 doping *** secondary phase for 0.04≤Cu≤0.05 exhibited the formation of mixed metal *** crystallite size was found to increase from 17.5 to 23.5 nm for 0≤Cu≤0.03 and then decreased from 22 to 18.5 nm for 0.04≤Cu≤*** estimated bandgap first reduced from 5.48 to 4.88 eV and then increased from 5.21 to 5.36 *** morphology of the samples transformed from spheroidal shape to star-like *** obtained results reveal that the structural and optical property are in good agreement with the morphological *** peak shifting towards the lower values of vibrational frequency from 694 to 579 cm^(-1) confirms the incorporation of Cu/Zn in Mg-O *** tuning of optical bandgap and structural properties with varying dopant concentration in MgO nanomaterials can be used for multifunctional modern energy storage and optoelectronic devices.

Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2) nanoparticles were synthesized with varying concentrations from 0 to 10%by a chemical synthesis technique of coprecipitation.X-rays diffraction (XRD) of the samples confirms that all the samples acquire the hexagonal crystal *** results indicated the solubility limit of dopant in the host material and the secondary phase of CuO was observed beyond 3%Cu doping in Mg(OH)_(2).The reduction in the size of nanoparticles was observed from 166 to 103 nm for Mg(OH)_(2) and 10% Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2)samples,*** shift in absorption spectra exhibited the systematical enhancement in optical bandgap from 5.25 to 6.085 eV.A good correlation was observed between the bandgap energy and crystallite size of the nanocrystals which confirmed the size induced effect in the *** transformation in the sample morphology was observed from irregular spherical particles to sepals like shapes with increasing the Cu concentration in the host *** energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analysis confirmed the purity of mass percentage composition of the elements present in the samples.

Recently,the experimental measurements of the branching ratios and different polarization asymmetries for processes occurring through flavor-changing-charged current(b→cτν¯_(τ))transitions by BABAR,Belle,and LHCb have revealed some significant differences from the corresponding Standard Model(SM)*** has triggered an interest to search for physics beyond the SM in the context of various new physics(NP)models and using the model-independent weak effective Hamiltonian(WEH).Assuming left-handed neutrinos,we add the dimension-six vector,(pseudo-)scalar,and tensor operators with complex Wilson coefficients(WCs)to the SM *** 60%,30%,and 10%constraints resulting from the branching ratio of B_(c)→τν¯_(τ),we reassess the parametric space of these new physics WCs accommodating the current anomalies based on the most recent HFLAV data of R_(τ/μ,e)(D)and R_(τ/μ,e)(D^(*))and Belle data of F_(L)(D^(*))and P_(τ)(D^(*)).We find that the allowed parametric region of left-handed scalar couplings strongly depends on the constraints of the B_(c)→τν¯_(τ)branching ratio,and the maximum pull from the SM predictions results from the<60%branching ratio ***,the parametric region changes significantly if we extend the analysis by adding LHCb data of R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ)and R_(τ/ℓ)(Λ_(c)).Furthermore,due to the large uncertainties in the measurements of R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ)and R_(τ/ℓ)(X_(c)),we derive the sum rules which complement them with R_(τ/μ,e)(D)and R_(τ/μ,e)(D^(*)).Using the best-fit points of the new complex WCs along with the latest measurements of R_(τ/μ,e)(D(^(*))),we predict the numerical values of the observable R_(τ/ℓ)(Λ_(c)),R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ),and R_(τ/ℓ)(X_(c))from the sum *** simultaneous dependence of abovementioned physical observables on the NP WCs is established by plotting their correlation with R_(D) and R_(D^(*)),which are useful to discriminate between various NP *** find that the most significant impact of NP results from the WC C^(S)_(L)=4C^(T).Fi
