Plants have to cope with several abiotic stresses,including salinity and heavymetals(HMs).Under these stresses,several extracts have been used as effective natural biostimulants,however,the use of Spirulina platensis(SP)extract(SPE)remains *** effects of SPE were evaluated as soil addition(SA)and/or foliar spraying(FS)on antioxidant defenses and HMs content of common bean grown in saline soil contaminated with ***(40 or 80 mg SPE/hill added as SA or 20 or 40 mg SPE/plant added as FS)or integrative(SA+FS)applications of SPE showed significant improvements in the following order:SA-80+FS-40>SA-80+FS-20>SA-40+FS-40>SA-40+FS-20>SA-80>SA-40>FS-40>FS-20>***,the integrative SA+FS with 40 mg SP/plant was the most effective treatment in increasing plant growth and production,overcoming stress effects and minimizing contamination of the edible *** significantly increased plant growth(74%–185%)and yield(107%–227%)by enhancing net photosynthetic rate(78.5%),stomatal conductance(104%),transpiration rate(124%),and contents of carotenoids(60.0%),chlorophylls(49%–51%),and NPK(271%–366%).These results were concurrent with the marked reductions in malondialdehyde(61.6%),hydrogen peroxide(42.2%),nickel(91%–94%),lead(80%–9%),and cadmium(74%–91%)contents due to the improved contents of glutathione(87.1%),ascorbate(37.0%),andα-tocopherol(77.2%),and the activities of catalase(18.1%),ascorbate peroxidase(18.3%),superoxide dismutase(192%),and glutathione reductase(52.2%)as reinforcing ***,this most effective treatment is recommended to mitigate the stress effects of salinity and HMs on common bean production while minimizing HMs in the edible part.

Background: The combination of the clinical features, HRCT score and echocardiographic evidence of pulmonary hypertension help assess the prognosis in bronchiectasis. Aim: To test whether pulmonary and cardiac functions associated with bronchiectasis would differ according to its type (cystic versus cylindrical) utilizing HRCT score, PFTs and echocardiography. Patients and Methods: A cross-sectional study of patients with bronchiectasis was conducted at Chest and Internal Medicine Departments at Assiut University Hospital, Egypt. The diagnosis of bronchiectasis type was based on HRCT findings. PFTs, HRCT score and echocardiography were assessed in all cases. Results: We studied 56 patients with bronchiectasis;31 were cystic (group A) and 25 were cylindrical (group B). Forced vital capacity (FVC%) and Dlco% were significantly lower in group A (P as compared with group B;whereas FEF 25%-75% and FEV1 (0.04) were lower in group B. Global HRCT score, RVD and SPAP were significantly higher in group A (P = 0.002) and correlated with FEV1% (r = ?0.51), and with SPAP (r = 0.16). Conclusions: Airway obstruction and small airway dysfunction were more significantly seen in cylindrical bronchiectasis. Patients with cystic bronchiectasis had significantly, higher global HRCT scores, RVD and SPAP. HRCT scores correlate with FEV 1% and SPAP and could be a predictor of future PH. Routine echocardiographic assessment of patients with bronchiectasis, particularly in those with cystic disease is highly recommended.

由于企业所面对的市场正在发生不可阻挡的变化,管理责任变得更具挑战性,组织目标的达成也变得尤为关键。因此,总是会产生新的不可预测的障碍。学术界和从业人员都十分关注如何进行人才管理,以实现符合企业运营和战略目标的可持续组织绩效。然而,目前还没有针对这一问题进行的透彻研究。因此,本文旨在研究人才管理对也门液化天然气公司的组织绩效影响。数据收集于也门液化天然气公司。为实现研究目标,研究者采用了描述性和分析性的方法。研究样本为随机选取的320名员工。本文采用在线调查问卷作为收集数据的主要工具,并进行了适当的统计测试。本文使用社会科学统计软件包(SPSS)来分析和整理数据,并采用百分比和频率表来进行描述。我们进行了信度(Cronbach Alpha)和效度分析,对数据进行了相关矩阵和回归分析以检验假设模型并确定自变量对因变量的影响。结果显示也门液化天然气公司的人才管理水平为中等,组织绩效水平则为较好。根据研究结果,本研究建议由于有效的人才管理实践在吸引、激励、发展和保留顶尖技能人才方面发挥着重要作用,我们应更加注重并进行有效的人才管理。除此以外,将人才管理战略与组织的战略目标相结合也很关键。我们建议管理者重视创建员工敬业度方面的要求,这样才能克服实施人才管理实践中遇到的困难。

The microscopic morphology of electromagnetic wave absorbers influences the multiple reflections of electromagnetic waves and impedance matching,determining the absorption ***,the urchin-shaped bimetallic nickel-cobalt oxide/carbon(NiCo_(2)O_(4)/C)composites are prepared via a hy-drothermal route,whose absorption properties are investigated by different morphologies regulated by changing calcination temperature.A minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of-75.26 dB is achieved at a match-ing thickness of 1.5 mm,and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 8.96 GHz is achieved at 2 ***-advantages of the synthesized NiCo_(2)O_(4)/C composites contribute to satisfactory absorption ***,the interweaving of the needle-like structures increases the opportunities for scattering and multiple reflections of incident electromagnetic waves,and builds up a conductive network to facilitate the enhancement of conductive ***,the carbon component in the NiCo_(2)O_(4)/C composites en-hances the interfacial polarization and reduces the density of the ***,generous oxygen va-cancy defects are introduced into the NiCo_(2)O_(4)/C composites,which induces defect polarization and dipole *** summary,the ternary coordination of components,defects and morphology led to out-standing electromagnetic wave absorption,which lightened the path for improving the electromagnetic wave absorption property and enriching the family of NiCo_(2)O_(4) absorbers with excellent performance.

This paper is concerned with the problem of distributed joint state and sensor fault estimation for autonomous ground vehicles subject to unknown-but-bounded(UBB)external disturbance and measurement *** order to improve the estimation reliability and performance in cases of poor data collection and potential communication interruption,a multisensor network configuration is presented to cooperatively measure the vehicular yaw rate,and further compute local state and fault *** this aim,an augmented descriptor vehicle model is first established,where the unknown sensor fault is modeled as an auxiliary state of the system ***,a new distributed ellipsoidal set-membership estimation approach is developed so as to construct an optimized bounding ellipsoidal set which guarantees to contain the vehicle’s true state and the sensor fault at each time step despite the existence of UBB disturbance and measurement ***,a convex optimization algorithm is put forward such that the gain matrix of each distributed estimator can be recursively ***,simulation results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Background: Burn injuries represent one of the greatest public health problems that induce significant patient morbidity and mortality. Scalds are the most common cause of burn injuries which is known to have long term grave consequences on general health. Aim: The current study was performed to identify the age of scald burn from histopathological changes and TNF-α immunoexpression. As well, study the probable relation between the scald age and the hepatic function impairment. Materials and Methods: A total number of 40 adult male albino rats were used in the study. Eight kept as control group I. Thirty-two rats were exposed to scald injury involving 20% of total body surface area (TBSA). Histopathological examination for the scald area, liver, and skin TNF-α immunohistochemistry was performed. Liver function tests and liver tissue malondialdehyde (MDA) were also determined. The study was carried out after 2, 7 days, 1 and 3 months of scald incidence. Results: Progressive histopathological changes and elevated liver enzymes were observed in the early scald ages while manifestations of healing and improvement in liver parameters, started to occur after 1 and 3 months of scald infliction in comparison with the other periods. There was a highly significant (P Conclusion: Overall, the results showed the ability to identify the age of scald injury using routine histopathological examination. Also, scald injury involving 20% of TBSA may cause long term impairment of hepatic function. Moreover, the proinflammatory results revealed that TNF-α may consider as mediators in the post-burn pathophysiological process. Furthermore, our results declare a significant correlation between MDA levels and the degree of burn complications, including shock and remote organ damage.

Objective:The current study investigated the efficacy of total ethanolic extract and various fractions of Gazania rigens to protect against carbon tetrachloride-induced liver and kidney damage in rats and evaluated their antioxidant ***:The antioxidant activity of the total extract and fractions(petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,and aqueous)of Gazania rigens was examined using 2,2’-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging and phosphomolybdate assays,and their total phenolic and flavonoid contents were *** hepatoprotective and nephroprotective potentials were studied at a dose of 300 mg/kg for six consecutive days followed by induction of hepatorenal injury using carbon tetrachloride single dose(1.5 mL/kg,1:1 v/v in olive oil,intraperitoneal)the next ***:The results revealed the potent hepato and nephroprotective effects of ethyl acetate and aqueous fractions by significantly(P<0.01 or P<0.001)reducing the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,total bilirubin,creatinine,urea,triglycerides,cholesterol,and lactate dehydrogenase,along with elevated serum albumin *** improvement of hepatic and renal antioxidant capacities and catalase activities,together with the prominent reduction of hepatic and renal malondialdehyde contents,were confirmed by histopathological ***:The potent hepatoprotective and nephroprotective effects of the total extract and different fractions of Gazania rigens may be attributed to the presence of highly phenolic and flavonoid compounds along with their complementary antioxidant scavenging properties.
