Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease covers a wide spectrum of liver pathologies which range from simple steatosis to non-alcoholic *** are members of a very large family of plant-derived compounds that can have beneficial effects on human health,and thus their study has become an increasingly important area of human nutrition *** aim of the present review is to compile published data concerning the effects of both isolated polyphenols as well as polyphenol extracts,on hepatocyte and liver fat accumulation under different steatosis-inducing *** results reported clearly show that this group of biomolecules is able to reduce fat accumulation,but further studies are needed to establish the optimal dose and treatment period *** regard to the potential mechanisms of action,there is a good *** anti-lipidogenic effect of polyphenols is mainly due to reduced fatty acid and triacylglycerol synthesis,increased in fatty acid oxidation,and reduced of oxidative stress and *** a general conclusion,it can be stated that polyphenols are biomolecules which produce hepatoprotective *** date,these beneficial effects have been demonstrated in cultured cells and animal ***,studies performed in humans are needed before these molecules can be considered as truly useful tools in the prevention of liver steatosis.

Background： There is considerable interest in using goats as models for genetically engineering dairy animals and also for using stem cells as therapeutics for bone and cartilage repair. Mesenchymal stem cells （MSCs） have been isolated and characterized from various species, but are poorly characterized in goats. Results： Goat MSCs isolated from bone marrow （BM-MSCs） and adipose tissue （ASCs） have the ability to undergo osteogenic, adipogenic and chondrogenic differentiation. Cytochemical staining and gene expression analysis show that ASCs have a greater capacity for adipogenic differentiation compared to BM-MSCs and fibroblasts. Different methods of inducing adipogenesis also affect the extent and profile of adipogenic differentiation in MSCs. Goat fibroblasts were not capable of osteogenesis, hence distinguishing them from the MSCs. Goat MSCs and fibroblasts express CD90, CD105, CD73 but not CD45, and exhibit cytoplasmic localization of OCT4 protein. Goat MSCs can be stably transfected by Nucleofection, but, as evidenced by colony-forming efficiency （CFE）, yield significantly different levels of progenitor cells that are robust enough to proliferate into colonies of integrants following G418 selection. BM-MSCs expanded over increasing passages in vitro maintained karyotypic stability up to 20 passages in culture, exhibited an increase in adipogenic differentiation and CFE, but showed altered morphology and amenability to genetic modification by selection. Conclusions： Our findings provide characterization information on goat MSCs, and show that there can be significant differences between MSCs isolated from different tissues and from within the same tissue. Fibroblasts do not exhibit trilineage differentiation potential at the same capacity as MSCs, making it a more reliable method for distinguishing MSCs from fibroblasts, compared to cell surface marker expression.

AIM To investigate the use of droplet digital polymerase chain reaction(dd PCR) for detecting host m RNA markers in stools as a non-invasive test for colorectal cancer *** dd PCR and quantitative PCR were compared side by side for their performance in the detection of ITGA6 and ITGA6 A transcripts in stool samples obtained from patients with various types of colorectal lesions(advanced adenomas and stage Ⅱ-Ⅳ colorectal cancers) and control(patients displaying no pathological findings) using duplex Taq Man reactions for both methods. ITGA6 and ITGA6 A were chosen for this proof-of-concept study based on their relative medium and low abundance in stool samples, respectively, as established in a previous *** We found that the dd PCR and q PCR methods per-formed equally well in this Taq Man duplex assay for the detection of ITGA6 and ITGA6 A transcripts in stools of patients with colorectal lesions. For ITGA6, receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis showed comparable areas under the curve of 0.91(P hat ITGA6 and ITGA6 A detection in stools of patients with colorectal cancers with dd PCR is comparable to that of q PCR using Taq Man assays.

In order to improve patient care in the United States there,the government made a mandate called HIE(Health Information Exchange).This order was created from the belief that sharing digital health in-formation between,across,and within health communities will improve one's healthcare experience across their *** health information,*** personal health record,should be shareable between healthcare providers;such as private practice physicians,home health agencies,hospitals and nursing care *** of the *** now have electronic health records,however,with a lack of standards for structuring health information and unified communication protocols to share health information across providers,only a small percentage of *** engage in computerized *** order to understand barriers and facilitators in the *** HIE adoption,we reviewed the published research literature between 2010 and *** search yielded 664 articles from Medline,PsychInfo,Global health,InSpec,Scopus and Business Source Complete ***-nine articles met our inclusion *** article presents the compiled organizational and end user barriers and facilitators along with suggested methods to achieve continuity of care through HIE.

The experimental and theoretical research of spin-orbit-coupled ultracold atomic gases has advanced and expanded rapidly in recent years. Here, we review some of the progress that either was pioneered by our own work, has helped to lay the foundation, or has developed new and relevant techniques. Af- ter examining the experimental accessibility of all relevant spin-orbit coupling parameters, we discuss the fundamental properties and general applications of spin-orbit-coupled Bose-Einstein condensates （BECs） over a wide range of physical situations. For the harmonically trapped case, we show that the ground state phase transition is a Dicke-type process and that spin-orbit-coupled BECs provide a unique platform to simulate and study the Dicke model and Dicke phase transitions. For a homo- geneous BEC, we discuss the collective excitations, which have been observed experimentally using Bragg spectroscopy. They feature a roton-like minimum, the softening of which provides a potential mechanism to understand the ~round state phase transition. On the other hand, if the collective dy- namics are excited by a sudden quenching of the spin-orbit coupling parameters, we show that the resulting collective dynamics can be related to the famous Zitterbewegung in the relativistic realm. Finally, we discuss the case of a BEC loaded into a periodic optical potential. Here, the spin-orbit coupling generates isolated fiat bands within the lowest Bloch bands whereas the nonlinearity of the system leads to dynamical instabilities of these Bloch waves. The experimental verification of this instability illustrates the lack of Galilean invariance in the system.

AIM:To assess the role of IgM and IgG immunohistochemistry(IHC) in the evaluation of autoimmune liver conditions-autoimmune hepatitis(AIH),primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC),and primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC).METHODS:Forty one biopsies from untreated patients diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease(AIH,n = 20;PBC,n = 13;PSC,n = 8) and fourteen biopsies of patients with chronic hepatitis C were *** and IgG-positive plasma cells were counted in each ***:A predominance of IgG-positive plasma cells was seen in AIH(90% of cases),PSC(75% of cases),and chronic hepatitis C(100% of cases),while IgMpositive plasma cells predominated in PBC(92.8% ofcases).The IgM /IgG ratio(haracteristic of PBC,while other forms of liver disease analyzed in this study,including AIH,typically show an IgG-predominant plasma cell *** data indicate that IgM and IgG IHC may be a useful tool when PBC is a diagnostic consideration.

Some physical,frictional and thermal properties of Brachystegia eurycoma seed were studied at different moisture contents in order to explore the possibility of mechanizing the handling and processing *** showed that the seed could be considered an oval disc in *** the moisture range of 2.79%to 27.13%(d.b.),the major,intermediate and minor axial dimensions increased with increase in moisture content from 2.29 mm to 2.45 mm,1.65 mm to 1.91 mm and 0.34 mm to 0.52 mm,*** the above moisture range,one thousand seed weight,particle density,porosity,roundness,sphericity,surface area and angle of repose increased linearly from 0.901 kg to 1.252 kg,2270 kg/m^(3) to 2520 kg/m^(3),11.23%to 15.46%,35%to 47%,67%to 82%,7.67 cm^(2) to 8.48 cm^(2) and 16.8°to 29.2°respectively,while bulk density decreased from 745.4 kg/m^(3) to 613.6 kg/m^(3).Static coefficient of friction on different structural surfaces increased linearly with moisture content and had the highest values on galvanized steel sheet(0.445-0.639),and the lowest values on fiber glass(0.287-0.404).Kinetic coefficient of friction increased linearly with moisture content on different structural surfaces except on galvanized steel sheet where it decreased linearly with increase in moisture content in the above moisture *** had the highest values on hessian bag material(0.266-0.389),and the lowest values on plywood with wood grains perpendicular to the direction of movement(0.204-0.271).Specific heat ranged from 1474 to 5992.7 J/kgK,and increased with increase in moisture content and *** equations were used to express the relationships existing between the seed properties and moisture content.

Oximes （R1R2C=NOH） are nitrogen-containing chemical constituents that are formed in species representing all kingdoms of life. In plants, oximes are positioned at important metabolic bifurcation points between general and specialized metabolism. The majority of plant oximes are amino acid-derived metabolites formed by the action of a cytochrome P450 from the CYP79 family. Auxin, cyanogenic glucosides, glucosinolates, and a number of other bioactive specialized metabolites including volatiles are produced from oximes. Oximes with the E configuration have high biological activity compared with Z-oximes. Oximes or their derivatives have been demonstrated or proposed to play roles in growth regulation, plant defense, pollinator attraction, and plant communication with the surrounding environment. In addition, oxime-derived products may serve as quenchers of reactive oxygen species and storage compounds for reduced nitrogen that may be released on demand by the activation of endogenous turnover pathways. As highly bioactive molecules, chemically synthesized oximes have found versatile uses in many sectors of society, especially in the agro- and medical sectors. This review provides an update on the structural diversity, occurrence, and biosynthesis of oximes in plants and discusses their role as key players in plant general and specialized metabolism.
