The term serpinopathies was introduced to describe a family of diseases caused by point mutations in serine protease inhibitors,or *** inhibit their cognate protease by an irreversible suicide mechanism starting with the attack of the active site serine on the reactive center loop of the inhibitor,followed by formation of a covalent complex between both proteins,insertion of the reactive center loop of the serpin into its own beta-sheet A,and culminating in distortion of the active site of the serine protease and thus irreversible *** inhibitory mechanism,reminiscent of the movement of a mousetrap,requires a structural flexibility that proves to be unfavorable when the folding of the serpin is altered by mutations responsible for conformational rearrangements,allowing an intermolecular domain exchange characterized by the insertion of the C-terminal domain of a molecule into a second one,thus forming a *** of this insertion reaction leads to the formation of serpin polymers that accumulate within the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)of the cell and consequently reduces the secretion of the wild-type serpin(Greene et al.,2016).

Arctodiaptomus salinus inhabits water bodies across Eurasia and North Africa. Based on our own data and that from the literature, we analyzed the influences of several factors on the intra- and inter-population variability of this species. A strong negative linear correlation between temperature and average body size in the Crimean and African populations was found, in which the parameters might be influenced by salinity. Meanwhile, a significant negative correlation between female body size and the altitude of habitats was found by comparing body size in populations from different regions. Individuals from environments with highly varying abiotic parameters, e.g. temporary reservoirs, had a larger body size than individuals from permanent water bodies. The changes in average body mass in populations were at 11.4 times, whereas, those in individual metabolic activities were at 6.2 times. Moreover, two size groups of A. salinus in the Crimean and the Siberian lakes were observed. The ratio of female length to male length fluctuated between 1.02 and 1.30. The average size of A. salinus in populations and its variations were determined by both genetic and environmental factors. However, the parities of these factors were unequal in either spatial or temporal scales.

Objective:To review the current literature on the practice of intramuscular injections(IMIs),focusing on ***:The present study comprises 2 reviews,characterized by high-quality evidence,per taining to the deployment of the slow injection technique without aspiration(referred to in this paper as the without-aspiration slow injection technique[WASi T])and combined with the Zeta-track technique(ZTT).The literature review is oriented toward the analysis of 2 features associated with IMIs techniques:safety and pain,integrating new evidence on vaccinee positioning for each muscle site and general relaxation techniques in the multi-parametric ***:The rigorous and in-depth reviews in the current study reveal the usefulness of including,among the international guidelines for via intramuscular immunizations,the adoption of WASi T only for compliant vaccinees,and in combination with all validated techniques for IMIs,and the use of ZTT limitedly if specific well-developed muscles are *** the technique's limitations are ***:Future research directions are presented by including the author's study designs to provide indirect evidence for the validity of the rationale of the slow injection technique using scientific methods,and for the conduction of future randomized controlled trials(RCTs)focused on revisiting the adoption of ZTT in a dynamic and integrated immunizations protocol in anterolateral thigh(ALT),ventrogluteal(VG),and also in the deltoid muscle,in the specific cases analyzed.
