Decreased muscle mass and function,also known as sarcopenia,is common in patients with cirrhosis and is associated with a poor *** the pathogenesis of this disorder has not been fully elucidated,a disordered gutmuscle axis probably plays an important *** barrier function of the gut and liver,gut dysbiosis,and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth(SIBO)can lead to increased blood levels of ammonia,lipopolysaccharides,pro-inflammatory mediators,and *** factors have complex negative effects on muscle mass and *** interventions that target the gut microbiota(long-term use of rifaximin,lactulose,lactitol,or probiotics)positively affect most links of the compromised gut-muscle axis in patients with cirrhosis by decreasing the levels of hyperammonemia,bacterial translocation,and systemic inflammation and correcting gut dysbiosis and ***,although these drugs are promising,they have not yet been investigated in randomized controlled trials specifically for the treatment and prevention of sarcopenia in patients with *** data exist on the effects of fecal transplantation on most links of gut-muscle axis in cirrhosis;however,the results of animal experimental studies are promising.

We studied the influences of immune activation by thymus-dependent(sheep red blood cells,SRBC)and independent(bacterial lipopolysaccharide,LPS)antigens on odor signals and endocrine status in dwarf *** of SRBS to mature males resulted in a drop of sexual scent attractiveness of soiled bedding collected during 5 days after *** effect was accompanied with a decline of fecal *** of the male scent attractiveness after SRBC treatment had maximum manifestation in males of dwarf hamsters with low humoral immune response to this *** to the effects of SRBC,males injected with LPS showed an increase of scent *** in the time that mature females spent sniffing olfactory stimuli(LPS vs control),correlated positively with differences in concentration of testosterone in feces collected from LPS and saline treated *** discuss the adaptive meaning of the opposite olfactory effects,which induced by activation of the nonspecific innate immunity with LPS and by activation of specific acquired immunity with SRBC.

Multimodal non-linear microscopy combining coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering,second harmonic generation,and two-photon excited fluorescence has proved to be a versatile and powerful tool enabling the label-free investigation of tissue structure,molecular composition,and correlation with function and disease *** a routine medical application,the implementation of this approach into an in vivo imaging endoscope is ***,this is a difficult task due to the requirements of a multicolour ultrashort laser delivery from a compact and robust laser source through a fiber with low losses and temporal synchronization,the efficient signal collection in epi-direction,the need for small-diameter but highly corrected endomicroobjectives of high numerical aperture and compact ***,we introduce an ultra-compact fiber-scanning endoscope platform for multimodal non-linear endomicroscopy in combination with a compact four-wave mixing based fiber *** heart of this fiber-scanning endoscope is an in-house custom-designed,single mode,double clad,double core pure silica fiber in combination with a 2.4 mm diameter NIR-dual-waveband corrected endomicroscopic objective of 0.55 numerical aperture and 180µm field of view for non-linear imaging,allowing a background free,low-loss,high peak power laser delivery,and an efficient signal collection in backward direction.A linear diffractive optical grating overlays pump and Stokes laser foci across the full field of view,such that diffraction-limited performance is demonstrated for tissue imaging at one frame per second with sub-micron spatial resolution and at a high transmission of 65%from the laser to the specimen using a distal resonant fiber scanner.

In the big forest countries, there is an actual challenge of accessing the forests for their resources, operational wildfire management, and economic estimations for various purposes. In Russia, there are two ways to access the forests: by air and by ground means. The first way is quite expensive for any country. The second one is less expensive but has the spatial planning challenges to create access routes by existing public roads and forest glades. Regional authorities and firefighting departments are paying attention to the access by ground means, but there is a certain room to improve their management and cooperation methods on a limited budget. These tasks could be solved by GIS-technologies in a more operational manner to automate the routes’ construction especially during the fire season. We used combined geoinformation technology (developed previously) and satellite product, namely vegetation map from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) to estimate how accessible any forest area is when moving by public roads and forest glades from a fire station as a starting point. These stations are the main centers to fight the forest fires within the territory of ground protection zones in Russia and we have considered them as the logistic centers to manage the forest resources also. Transport model was created in two variants: no-barriers and barriers-based (forestries). By using these two models we have shown two different scenarios of action. The key area was Novosibirsk Region located in the Siberian Federal District, Russia. We have created a series of maps to show the transport accessibility of forest areas from the fire stations. Estimation of “located” pixels or forest areas accessible from the fire stations for the key area is about 66% - 83%;the most accessible forest type is mixed forests. 神经退行性病变是一种可导致神经细胞渐进性退变或死亡的不可治愈性疾病。该疾病可诱发功能性运动障碍以及精神问题,比如痴呆。在诸多种类的神经退行性病变中,阿尔茨海默病占据最大比例。瞬时受体电位M2型(TRPM2)离子通道是一个可通过钙离子的非选择性阳离子通道。研究表明,TRPM2离子通道有可能通过不同路径(包括炎症路径)参与阿尔茨海默病的病理过程。本综述主要通过对TRPM2与Aβ、氧化应激以及钙离子之间关系的讨论,总结概括了TRPM2在阿尔茨海默病病理学中的作用,也对近期TRPM2药理学领域的研究进展进行了探讨,并对如何进一步研究TRPM2在阿尔茨海默病中的作用进行了展望。
