The quest for the room-temperature.optical transistor based on nonline.rities in single atoms or molecules is attracting a lot of *** this work,a single-photon emitter in cubic silicon carbide is verified that can operate as an optical switch at room temperature.under pulsed gre.n laser illumination with a near-infrare. pulsed laser as the control *** demonstrated an ultrafast and re.ersible optical modulation with a high photoluminescence intensity suppre.sion ratio up to 97.9%and a re.ponse time as short as 287.9±5.7 *** curre.t development provides insights for high-pre.ision and ultrafast optical switches,with possibilities for integration with emerging electronic installations to re.lize more.intelligent photoelectric integrated devices.

Within the extended vector meson dominance model,we investigate the𝑒e^(+)e^(-)→Λ_(c)+Λ_(c)^(- ) re.ction and the electromagnetic form factors of the charmed baryon𝛬 Λ_(c)^(+)𝑐.The model parameters are.determined by fitting them to the cross sections of the process𝑒e^(+)e^(-)→Λ_(c)+Λ_(c)^(- ) and the magnetic form factor|G_(M)|of Λ_(c)^(+) .By considering four charmonium-like states,called𝜓(4500),𝜓(4660),𝜓(4790),and𝜓(4900),we can well describe the curre.t data on the𝑒e^(+)e^(-)→Λ_(c)+Λ_(c)^(- ) re.ction from the re.ction thre.hold up to 4.96 *** addition to the total cross sections and|𝐺M|,the ratio|G_(e)/G_(M)|and the effective form factor|Geff|for Λ_(c)^(+) 𝑐are.also calculated,and found that these calculations are.consistent with the experimental *** the fitted model parameters,we have also estimated the charge radius of the charmed Λ_(c)^(+) baryon.

Plant virus causes massive crop losses ***,there.is curre.tly no effective measure.to control plant viral ***,we identify an antiviral protein Rhp-PSP,produced by the bacterial Rhodopseudomonas palustris strain *** this study,we discover that the antiviral activity of Rhp-PSP re.ies on its endoribonuclease *** the arginine(R)re.idue at position 129 onto alanine(A)abolishs its endoribonuclease activity on coat protein(CP)RNA of tobacco mosaic virus(TMV),consequentially,compromises the antiviral activity of *** investigation demonstrates that,the mutant Rhp-PSP^(R129A)is unable to form the homotrimer as the wild type,indicating the importance of quaternary junction for the endoribonuclease *** of Rhp-PSP in Nicotiana benthamiana significantly enhances the re.istance against TMV of seedlings,while expre.sion of Rhp-PSP^(R129A)did not,confirming that endoribonuclease activity is re.ponsible for the antiviral activity of *** addition,foliar spray of Rhp-PSP solution on tomato and pepper plants significantly re.uces the disease index of viral diseases,indicating that Rhp-PSP shows potential to develop antiviral agent in practice.

re.lectance spectroscopy is rapid,inexpensive,and non-destructive and can provide important information about the mineralogy of rocks and *** measure. the re.lectance spectroscopy of Miocene re. clay deposits on the northeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau,with the aim of developing a rapid methodology for detecting paleoclimatic *** obtained visible/near-infrare.(VNIR)and short-wave infrare.(SWIR)spectroscopy data from the re. clay in the Jianzha Basin,and analyzed their re.ationship with independent paleoclimatic re.ords,including mineral contents and environmental magnetic *** re.ults show that the VNIR parameters,including D500,D900,R500,and R900(where.D and R re.re.ent the depth and re.lectance of the absorption peaks around 500 and 900 nm,re.pectively)are.temperature.sensitive and corre.ated with the magnetic susceptibility,fre.uency-dependent magnetic susceptibility,and the marine δ^(18)O *** re.ults of fre.uency-domain analysis of the VNIR parameters show that they re.lect climate change on orbital *** parameters,such as AS1400,D1400/D1900 and D1900(where.AS re.re.ents the asymmetry of the absorption peaks around1400 nm),are.corre.ated with the illite and montmorillonite content,and they are.sensitive to the weathering *** spectral parameters of the eolian re. clay in the Jianzha Basin re.lect re.ional climatic changes caused by the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau at~8.5 Ma and global climatic cooling at~7.2 Ma,and thus they are.applicable as both re.ional and global paleoenvironmental indicators.

CeO_(2)-based catalysts are.widely investigated for selective catalytic re.uction(SCR)of NO with *** of NO/O_(2) with CeO_(2) generally produces two surface species,i.e.,nitrates and ***,the explicit quantification of these two species is still ***,we re.orted that spectrophotometry characterization was effective in determining surface adsorbed NOx species on CeO_(2) by measuring the corre.ponding ions(NO_(2)-and NO_(3)^(-))dissolved in aqueous *** re.ults show that both nitrate(-NO_(3))and nitrite(-NO_(2))species can be quantitatively evaluated and the accuracy is verified by calibrating with NOx-TPD *** transfer of adsorbed NOx from catalyst surface to aqueous solution is confirmed and the dissolution process can be accelerated by ultrasonic ***,useful information re.ated to evolution of surface NOx species under various conditions(O_(2) tre.tment,differe.t adsorption temperature.and duration)and over differe.t catalysts(Fe_(2)O_(3),MnO_(2) and MnOx—CeO_(2))are.*** re.ult of pre.ent study demonstrates the potential of spectrophotometry for quantitative discrimination of surface NOx species on CeO_(2) and other oxide-based materials,which is conducive to mechanism analysis of SCR re.ction.

Demand re.ponse has been re.ognized as a valuable functionality of power systems for mitigating power *** paper proposes a hierarchical control strategy among the distribution system operator(DSO),load aggre.ators(LAs),and thermostatically controlled loads(TCLs);the strategy includes a scheduling layer and an executive layer to provide load *** the scheduling layer,the DSO(leader)offers compensation price(CP)strategies,and the LAs(followers)re.pond to CP strategies with available re.ulation power(ARP)*** of the DSO and LAs are.modeled according to their behaviors during the load re.ulation *** game is adopted to capture.interactions among the players and leader and to obtain the optimal strategy for each participant to achieve ***,considering inevitable random factors in practice,e.g.,re.ewable generation and behavior of users,two differe.t stochastic models based on sample average approximation(SAA)and parameter modification are.formulated with improved scheduling *** the executive layer,distributed TCLs are.triggere. based on strategies determined in the scheduling layer.A self-triggering method that does not violate user privacy is pre.ented,where.TCLs re.eive external signals from the LA and independently determine whether to alter their operation *** simulations are.performed on the modified Ieee-24 bus system to verify effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
