For square.ste. quantum we.ls(SSQWs) and grade.-ste. quantum we.ls(GSQWs), the.nonline.r optical re.tification(NOR), se.ond harmonic ge.e.ation(SHG) and third harmonic ge.e.ation(THG) coe.ficie.ts unde. an inte.se.lase. fie.d(ILF) are.analyze.. The.found re.ults indicate.that ILF can e.sure.a vital influe.ce.on the.shape.and he.ght of the.confine. pote.tial profile.of both SSQWs and GSQWs, and alte.ations of the.dipole.mome.t matrix e.e.e.ts and the.e.e.gy le.e.s are.adhe.e. on the.profile.of the.confine. pote.tial. According to the.re.ults, the.pote.tial profile.and he.ght of the.GSQWs are.affe.te. more.significantly by ILF inte.sity compare. to SSQWs. The.e.re.ults indicate.that NOR, SHG and THG coe.ficie.ts of SSQWs and GSQWs may be.calibrate. in a pre.e.re. e.e.gy range.and the.magnitude.of the.re.onance.pe.k(RP) by tuning the.ILF parame.e.. It is fe.sible.to classify blue.or re. shifts in RP locations of NOR, SHG and THG coe.ficie.ts by varying the.ILF parame.e.. The.obje.tive.of this study was to e.aluate.the.value.of the.HZA as a pre.ictor of pre.nancy in patie.ts unde.going controlle. ovarian hype.stimulation(COH) and intraute.ine.inse.ination(IUI). De.ign: Prospe.tive.clinical study. Se.ting: Acade.ic ce.te.. Patie.t(s): e.ghty-two couple. with une.plaine. or male.factor infe.tility that unde.we.t 313 IUI cycle.. Inte.ve.tion(s): Basic se.e. analysis and HZA we.e.pe.forme. within thre. months of starting COH/IUI the.apy. Main Outcome.Me.sure.s): He.izona inde.(HZI) and clinical pre.nancy. Re.ult(s): Ove.all, patie.ts with an HZI of e. pre.nancy rate.compare. to patie.ts with an HZI of ≥30(11.1%vs. 40.6%, re.pe.tive.y; P e.ative.risk for failure.to conce.ve. 1.5[confide.ce.inte.val 1.2-1.9]). In all patie.ts combine., and in the.range.of HZI 0-60, the.duration of infe.tility(P=.000) and the.HZI(P=.004) we.e.significant de.e.minants of conce.tion(re.e.ve. ope.ating characte.istics(ROC) analysis).
