The ignition tendency of diesel fuels is highly sensitive to ambient conditions and fuel *** this study,the ignition characteristics of different diesel surrogate fuels with the same derived cetane numbers(DCN)were measured and compared in varied thermodynamic and oxidizing *** combustion pressures,heat release rates,ignition delays,and combustion delays of the test fuels were *** experimental results showed that the diesel surrogate fuels with the same DCNs exhibit similar ignition propensity at standard DCN test ***,for the test conditions of high cetane fuels,high ambient temperatures,and suficient oxygen concentrations,surrogate fuels with the same DCN have similar ignition behaviors,and using the DCN to evaluate fuel ignition tendency is ***,for the test conditions of low cetane fuels,low ambient temperatures,and reduced oxygen concentrations,different ignition behaviors are observed for the surrogate fuels with the same DCN,so at these conditions using DCN as the evaluation index for fuel ignition tendency may lead to higher uncertainty.

SO_(2)poisoning is a common problem in the catalytic combustion of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).In this work,we took three-dimensionally ordered macroporous and mesoporous(3DOM)SiO_(2)as the nanoreactor to protect active sites from SO_(2)erosion in the catalytic combustion of ***,the confined growth of metal active nanoparticles in the multi-stage pore is also full of *** we successfully confined Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(NPs)in macroporous and mesoporous ***,the precursors’growth in the pore was controlled and nanoreactors with different pore sizes were prepared by adjusting the loading amount and preparation *** is discovered that the Co_(3)O_(4)NPs confined in 3DOM SiO_(2)nanoreactor showed superior sulfur and water *** functional theory(DFT)calculations verified that the Co-Si catalyst had high SO_(2)adsorption energy(-0.48 eV),which illustrated that SO_(2)was hard to attach to the surface of the Co-Si *** SiO_(2)nanoreactor had low SO_(2)adsorption energy(-5.15 eV),which indicated that SO_(2)was easily absorbed on SiO_(2)*** illustrated that the SiO_(2)nanoreactor could protect effectively active sites from SO_(2)erosion.

With the launch of the first civilian early-morning orbit satellite Fengyun-3E(FY-3E),higher demands are placed on the accuracy of radiative transfer simulations for hyperspectral infrared ***,several key issues are investigated in the ***,the accuracy of the fast atmospheric transmittance model implemented in the Advanced Research and Modeling System(ARMS)has been evaluated with both the line-by-line radiative transfer model(LBLRTM)and the actual satellite *** results indicate that the biases are generally less than 0.25 K when compared to the LBLRTM,while below 1.0 K for the majority of the channels when compared to the ***,during both comparisons,significant biases are observed in certain *** accuracy of Hyperspectral Infrared Atmospheric Sounder-II(HIRAS-II)onboard FY-3E is comparable to,and even superior to that of the Cross-track Infrared Sounder(CrIS)onboard ***,apodization is a crucial step in the processing of hyperspectral data in that the apodization function is utilized as the instrument channel spectral response function to produce the satellite channel-averaged *** further explore the difference between the apodized and unapodized simulations,Sinc function is adopted in the fast transmittance *** is found that the use of Sinc function can make the simulations fit the original satellite observations *** simulating with apodized observations,the use of Sinc function exhibits larger deviations compared to the Hamming ***,a correction module is applied to minimize the impact of Non-Local Thermodynamic Equilibrium(NLTE)in the shortwave infrared *** is verified that the implementation of the NLTE correction model leads to a significant reduction in the bias between the simulation and observation for this band.

With the participation of large quantities of renewable energy in power system operations,their volatility and intermittence increases the difficulties and challenges of power system economic *** the uncertainty of renewable energy generation,based on the distributionally robust optimization method,a two-stage economic dispatch model is proposed to minimize the total operation *** this paper,it is assumed that the fluctuating of renewable power generation follows the unknown probability distribution that is restricted in an ambiguity set,which is established by utilizing the first-order moment information of available historical ***,the theory of conditional value-at-risk is introduced to transform the model into a tractable model,which we call robust counterpart *** on the stochastic dual dynamic programming method,an improved iterative algorithm is proposed to solve the robust counterpart ***,the convergence optimum can be obtained by the improved iterative algorithm,which performs a forward pass and backward pass repeatedly in each iterative ***,by comparing with other methods,the results on the modified IEEE 6-bus,118-bus,and 300-bus system show the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed model and method.

Animal manures have been demonstrated to enhance antibiotic resistance in agricultural ***,little is known about the effects of plant-derived fertilizer on soil antibiotic ***,metagenomic sequencing was used to investigate the effects of a plantderived fertilizer processed from sugarcane and beet on soil antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)in a soybean field along crop growth *** profiles in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer were compared with those in the soils amended by chicken *** abundance and diversity of total ARGs in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer were significantly(Phan in unamended soils at the sprout stage of soybean were considered as enriched *** in the abundance of the enriched ARGs was observed in both the amended soils from the sprout to the *** analysis further identified Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes as the primary bacterial taxa involved in the temporal variation of the enriched ARGs in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer,while in manured soils were Firmicutes and *** revealed by multivariate statistical analyses,variation of the enriched ARGs in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer was majorly attributed to the response of co-occurred bacteria to depleting nutrients,which was different from the failed establishment of manure-borne bacteria in the manured *** study provided field-based evidence that plant-derived fertilizer stimulated the intrinsic antibiotic resistome,and proposed attention to the un-perceived risk since some clinically relevant ARGs originate and evolve fr

The utilization of a proton beam from the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)for producing medical radioisotopes is appealing owing to its high current intensity and high *** medical isotope production based on the proton beam at the CSNS is significant for the development of future radiopharmaceuticals,particularly for theα-emitting *** production yield and activity of typical medical isotopes were estimated using the FLUKA *** results indicate that the 300-MeV proton beam with a power of 100 kW at CSNS-II is highly suitable for proof-of-principle studies of most medical *** particular,this proton beam offers tremendous advantages for the large-scale production of alpha radioisotopes,such as 225Ac,whose theoretical production yield can reach approximately 57 Ci/*** on these results,we provide perspectives on the use of CSNS proton beams to produce radioisotopes for medical applications.
