This study aimed to elaborate on theoretical model of.the perceptions, f.elings, and meanings of.early stress f.r people with depression. To perf.rm a qualitative study based on the Symbolic Interactionism and Grounded Theory, we interviewed 12 patients diagnosed with depression. It was structured a model based on “walking between traumatic childhood and the adult lif. with depression,” integrating eight inter-articulated categories that represent the perceptions, f.elings, and meanings of.the experiences of.the depressed individual with a history of.early stress. The theoretical model constructed meanings and conditions that af.ect the individual f.om a traumatic childhood to depression in adulthood.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the third most common cancer worldwide and,despite improved treatments,is still an important cause of.cancer-related *** encompasses a complex of.diseases arising f.om a multistep process of.genetic and epigenetic *** heterogeneity in the molecular and biological f.atures of.CRC,chromosomal instability is a hallmark of.cancer and cancer cells may also circumvent replicative senescence and acquire the ability to sustain unlimited ***/telomerase interplay is an important mechanism involved in both genomic stability and cellular replicative potential,and its dysf.nction plays a key role in the oncogenetic *** erosion of.telomeres,mainly because of.cell prolif.ration,may be accelerated by specif.c alterations in the genes involved in CRC,such as APC and *** there is general agreement that the shortening of.telomeres plays a role in the early steps of.CRC carcinogenesis by promoting chromosomal instability,the prognostic role of.telomere length in CRC is still under *** activation of.telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT),the catalytic component of.the telomerase complex,allows cancer cells to grow indef.nitely by maintaining the length of.the telomeres,thus f.vouring tumour f.rmation/*** studies indicate that TERT increases with disease progression,and most studies suggest that telomerase is a usef.l prognostic *** TERT mRNA may also be a promising marker f.r the minimally invasive monitoring of.disease progression and response to therapy.

AIM: To investigate the ef.icacy of.a high-potency probiotic preparation on prevention of.radiation-induced diarrhea in cancer patients. METHODS: This was a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. f.ur hundred and ninety patients who underwent adjuvant postoperative radiation therapy af.er surgery f.r sigmoid, rectal, or cervical cancer were assigned to either the high-potency probiotic preparation VSL#3 (one sachet t.i.d.,) or placebo starting f.om the f.rst day of.radiation therapy. Ef.icacy endpoints were incidence and severity of.radiation-induced diarrhea, daily number of.bowel movements, and the time f.om the start of.the study to the use of.loperamide as rescue medication. RESULTS: More placebo patients had radiation-induced diarrhea than VSL#3 patients (124 of.239 patients, 51.8%, and 77 of.243 patients, 31.6%; P f.ered grade 3 or 4 diarrhea compared with VSL#3 recipients (55.4% and 1.4%, P f.loperamide was 86 ± 6 h f.r placebo patients and 122 ± 8 h f.r VSL#3 patients (P f., and f.asible approach to protect cancer patients against the risk of.radiation-induced diarrhea.

Hydroesterif.cation process has been presented biodiesel production f.om oil the green microalga Nannochloropsis oculata raw materials. Biodiesel studied in this work is the main product got f.om the hydroesterif.cation of.biomass the Nannochloropsis oculata and was obtained f.om esterif.cation of.f.tty acid (product of.a hydrolysis reaction) with methanol. It was used as catalyst the niobic acid pure and supported on δ-aluminum. The product was evaluated by gas chromatography and other analyses. The optimum conditions f.und in the conversion (%) f.r the hydrolysis reactions of.the biomass (92.3%). Better results were observed in the algae concentration 20%, lead at 300?C with 20% of.catalyst. f.r esterif.cation of.f.tty acids of.Nannochloropsis oculata (92.24%), were observed the molar ratio methanol: f.t acid 3, lead at 200°C with 20% of.catalyst supported.

This paper assesses the hydroesterif.cation process f.r the production of.Biodiesel f.om Monoraphidium contortum (MORf.1) microalgae biomass, as it is a sustainable alternative not only economically, but also environmentally and ecologically to replace petroleum diesel f.el. The Biodiesel studied in this work was obtained f.om f.tty acid esterif.cation, a product of.microalgae and methanol biomass hydrolysis reaction. CBMM’s (HY-340) niobium oxide powder was used as catalyst. The reactions were carried out in a properly closed autoclave reactor (batch), where the reagents were mixed under constant stirring at 500 rpm f.r hydrolysis and esterif.cation. The products generated were submitted to gas chromatography and oxidative stability analysis. The hydroesterif.cation process showed itself.to be a promising alternative to the conventional biodiesel production process (transesterif.cation) as it f.vors the use of.f.edstocks with any acidity and moisture content and may be perf.rmed with acid catalyst, which f.vors high conversions in a small range of.time (30 minutes).

The production of.microalgae in laboratory systems is restricted almost exclusively since 500 mL to 20 liters tanks of.transparent materials such as glass and plastic, under f.uorescent lamps on shelves. In this work we developed a laboratory system which produced up to 50 liters of.micro- algae cultivation with comparable productivity to the traditional system in the laboratory, with the potential to increase productivity scale and lower energy consumption per produced volume. The system is built with opaque plastic tank, and illuminated by Plastic Optics f.ber (POf. and LED. The quality of.the biomass grown in the culture system on LED is comparable to the tradi- tional cultivation, with scale-up without increasing the occupied area, only with increased height of.the tank. The productivity of.the tank on LED to the strain Scenedesmus sp. with a phototrophic cultivation reached productivity of.around 20 mg•L–1•d–1 and continuing studies may increase f.rther.

The Ca 2+-binding protein of.the Ef.hand type,S100B,exerts both intracellular and extracellular regulatory *** an intracellular regulator,S100B is involved in the regulation of.energy metabolism,transcription,protein phosphorylation,cell prolif.ration,survival,dif.erentiation and motility,and Ca 2+ homeostasis,by interacting with a wide array of.proteins(i.e.,enzymes,enzyme substrates,cytoskeletal subunits,scaf.old/adaptor proteins,transcription f.ctors,ubiquitin E3 ligases,ion channels) in a restricted number of.cell *** an extracellular signal,S100B engages the pattern recognition receptor,receptor f.r advanced glycation end-products(RAGE),on immune cells as well as on neuronal,astrocytic and microglial cells,vascular smooth muscle cells,skeletal myoblasts and ***,RAGE may not be the sole receptor activated by S100B,the protein being able to enhance bf.f.f.f.1 signaling by interacting with f.f.1-bound bf.f.in particular cell ***,extracellular ef.ects of.S100B vary depending on its local *** evidence suggests that at the concentration f.und in extracellular f.uids in normal physiological conditions and locally upon acute tissue injury,which is up to a f.w nM levels,S100B exerts trophic ef.ects in the central and peripheral nervous system and in skeletal muscle tissue thus participating in tissue *** present commentary summarizes results implicating intracellular and extracellular S100B in tissue development,repair and regeneration.

根据中意国际合作项目'四川无病毒果苗繁育中心'的要求,为了弄清四川葡萄产区内病毒病的种类、危害程度及其流行规律,中意双方成立了联合工作组,并于2002年9月在成都龙泉及攀枝花两地开展了葡萄病毒病的田间普查和采样.考察期间共收集葡萄枝样50份,随后送往意大利巴厘大学,经双抗体和三抗体夹心酶联免疫吸附法测试,共检出了6种危险性病毒种类及株系.现对它们在田间的症状表现及其流行趋势作如下阐述.
