A series of single-phase and color-tunable phosphors Sr_(2)La_(3)(SiO_(4))_(3)F:0.15Tb^(3+),xSm^(3+)(SLSOF:0.15Tb^(3+),xSm^(3+)) was prepared using solid-state *** X-ray diffraction(XRD) was used to characterize the phase of the as-prepared *** synthesized phosphors have apatite-type structure without other ***^(3+) and Tb^(3+) ions substitute La^(3+) into the lattice and form a single-phase solid *** elements are evenly distributed in the sample according to the scanning electron microscopy(SEm) *** crystal structure of the host phosphor was refined by the Rietveld *** optical properties were studied in detail by investigation of the luminescence and diffuse spectra,fluorescence decay curves and energy transfer *** phosphor color can be changed from green(0.29,0.48) to yellow/orange and red(0.57,0.42) via adjusting the doping ratio of Sm^(3+).The SLSOF:0.15Tb^(3+),xSm^(3+)phosphors can emit typical multicolor light such as green,yellow,orange and red with gradually increasing Sm^(3+)doping *** results indicate the occurrence of the energy transfer which results in the color-tunable properties of the phosphors.

Background:Bidirectional Glenn shunts have long been available as palliative procedures for patients with single ventricle physiology that is,patients unsuitable for biventricular *** our country they are performed at an older age than that recommended by the ***,we aim to assess post bidirectional Glenn shunt patients to detect the presence of any complications and to evaluate their functional ***:This was a descriptive study that included all patients who underwent a bidirectional Glenn shunt and were referred for follow up in Ain shams university *** taking including NYHA class and physical activity,clinical examination,six-minutes-walk test,laboratory investigations,full echocardiographic assessment were done for all *** patients needed invasive cardiac ***:Our registry included 178 patients who underwent bidirectional Glenn procedure referred for follow up in Ain Shams university hospital from January 2019 till July *** mean age of the registry was 18.7±8.26 years(range between 5 and 37 years),85 males(48%)and 93 females(52%).Regarding the basic anatomy,double outlet right ventricle with hypoplastic left ventricle was the ***,our descriptive study confirmed many characteristic similarities between our patients and patients in developing *** patients underwent bidirectional Glenn shunt at a median age of 6 years which is considered a relatively old age but similar to other studies that have been made in developing countries like Pakistan,India and *** is a significant delay in the operation in Egyptian patients due to lack of patients’awareness,few numbers of primary health care facilities and high economic ***:Although the presence of slight systemic desaturation,our study demonstrated a satisfactory functional capacity among our patients;thus,bidirectional Glenn can be considered an acceptable definite univentricular repair in patients

为改善重金属污染,提高固体废弃物利用率,以精炼渣(LFS)和粉煤灰(FA)为原料,氢氧化钠与水玻璃作为碱激发剂,在碱激发条件下制备地质聚合物固化重金属Zn^(2+)、Cd^(2+)。研究Zn^(2+)、Cd^(2+)掺量对固化体强度的影响,通过浸出实验评价地质聚合物对Zn^(2+)、Cd^(2+)的固定效果,结合XRD、SEm-EDS、FT-IR、XPS等表征方法对固定机制进行研究。结果表明:精炼渣-粉煤灰基地质聚合物与Zn^(2+)、Cd^(2+)具有良好的相容性,含有1.0%Cd^(2+)固化体28 d的抗压强度可达到40.62 mPa,水化浸出实验中Zn^(2+)、Cd^(2+)固化率均在99.6%以上;Zn^(2+)、Cd^(2+)加入后固化体中不会有新相生成,且在固化过程中未发生化学价态变化。金属离子能有效地固定在精炼渣基地质聚合物中,主要通过物理包封、吸附作用,少量重金属离子则是通过化学键合,以Si—O—m和Al—O—m (m=Zn、Cd)的形式存在于固化体中。

Isoperimetric problems consist in minimizing or maximizing a cost functional subject to an integral *** this work, we present two fractional isoperimetric problems where the Lagrangian depends on a combined Caputo derivative of variable fractional order and we present a new variational problem subject to a holonomic constraint. We establish necessary optimality conditions in order to determine the minimizers of the fractional problems. The terminal point in the cost integral,as well as the terminal state, are considered to be free, and we obtain corresponding natural boundary conditions.

Parasites of the Nile rat in rural and urban regions of Sudan

Investigation of SARS-CoV-2 main Protease Potential Inhibitory Activities of Some Natural Antiviral Compounds Via molecular Docking and Dynamics Approaches

Coronaviruses caused an outbreak pandemic disease characterized by a severe acute respiratory distress syndrome leading to the infection of more than 200 million patients and the death of more than 4 million *** primary treatment is either supportive or *** products have an important role in the development of various ***,screening of natural compounds with reported antiviral activities can lead to the discovery of potential inhibitory entities against *** the current study,an in-silico molecular docking experiment was conducted on the effects of some of these natural antiviral phytoconstituents,(e.g.,procyanidin B2,theaflavin,quercetin,ellagic acid,caffeoylquinic acid derivatives,berginin,eudesm-1β,6α,11-triol and arbutin),on the crystal structure of SARS-CoV-2 main protease(PDB ID:6w63)using AutoDock-Vina *** of the docked compounds revealed good binding affinity,with procyanidin B2(–8.6 Kcal/mol)and theaflavin(–8.5 Kcal/mol)showing a better or similar binding score as the ligand(–8.5 Kcal/mol).molecular dynamics simulations were carried out at 100 ns and revealed that procyanidin B2 forms a more stable complex with SARS-CoV-2 main protease than *** B2,theaflavin,and 4,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid were evaluated for toxicity by ProTox-II webserver and were non-toxic according to the predicted LD50 values and safe on different organs and ***,these phytoconstituents showed good ADmE properties and acceptable lipophilicity,as evaluated using *** the tested compounds,procyanidin B2 showed the highest lipophilic *** is worth mentioning that these natural inhibitiors of SARS-CoV-2 main protease are components of green and black tea that can be used as a supporting supplement for COVID patients or as potential nuclei for further drug design and development campaigns.

HLR-Net: A Hybrid Lip-Reading model Based on Deep Convolutional Neural Networks

Lip reading is typically regarded as visually interpreting the speaker’s lip movements during the *** is a task of decoding the text from the speaker’s mouth *** paper proposes a lip-reading model that helps deaf people and persons with hearing problems to understand a speaker by capturing a video of the speaker and inputting it into the proposed model to obtain the corresponding *** deep learning technologies makes it easier for users to extract a large number of different features,which can then be converted to probabilities of letters to obtain accurate *** proposed methods for lip reading are based on sequence-to-sequence architectures that are designed for natural machine translation and audio speech ***,in this paper,a deep convolutional neural network model called the hybrid lip-reading(HLR-Net)model is developed for lip reading from a *** proposed model includes three stages,namely,preprocessing,encoder,and decoder stages,which produce the output *** inception,gradient,and bidirectional GRU layers are used to build the encoder,and the attention,fully-connected,activation function layers are used to build the decoder,which performs the connectionist temporal classification(CTC).In comparison with the three recent models,namely,the LipNet model,the lip-reading model with cascaded attention(LCANet),and attention-CTC(A-ACA)model,on the GRID corpus dataset,the proposed HLR-Net model can achieve significant improvements,achieving the CER of 4.9%,WER of 9.7%,and Bleu score of 92%in the case of unseen speakers,and the CER of 1.4%,WER of 3.3%,and Bleu score of 99%in the case of overlapped speakers.

Ameloblasts are specialized cells derived from the dental epithelium that produce enamel,a hierarchically structured tissue comprised of highly elongated hydroxylapatite(OHAp)*** unique function of the epithelial cells synthesizing crystallites and assembling them in a mechanically robust structure is not fully elucidated yet,partly due to limitations with in vitro experimental ***,we demonstrate the ability to generate mineralizing dental epithelial organoids(DEOs)from adult dental epithelial stem cells(aDESCs)isolated from mouse incisor *** expressed ameloblast markers,could be maintained for more than five months(11 passages)in vitro in media containing modulators of Wnt,Egf,Bmp,Fgf and Notch signaling pathways,and were amenable to *** transplanted underneath murine kidney capsules,organoids produced OHAp crystallites similar in composition,size,and shape to mineralized dental tissues,including some enamel-like elongated *** are thus a powerful in vitro model to study mineralization process by dental epithelium,which can pave the way to understanding amelogenesis and developing regenerative therapy of enamel.
