Laser sc.nning c.n provide timely assessments of mine sites despite adverse c.allenges in the operational *** there are several published artic.es on laser sc.nning,there is a need to review them in the c.ntext of underground mining *** this end,a holistic.review of laser sc.nning is presented inc.uding progress in 3D sc.nning systems,data c.pture/proc.ssing tec.niques and primary applic.tions in underground *** sc.nning tec.nology has advanc.d signific.ntly in terms of mobility and mapping,but there are c.nstraints in c.herent and c.nsistent data c.llec.ion at c.rtain mines due to feature defic.enc.,dynamic.,and environmental influenc.s suc. as dust and *** suggest that laser sc.nning has matured over the years for c.ange detec.ion,c.earanc. measurements and struc.ure mapping ***,there is sc.pe for improvements in lithology identific.tion,surfac. parameter measurements,logistic.trac.ing and autonomous *** sc.nning has the potential to provide real-time solutions but the lac. of infrastruc.ure in underground mines for data transfer,geodetic.networking and proc.ssing c.pac.ty remain limiting ***,laser sc.nners are bec.ming an integral part of mine automation thanks to their affordability,ac.urac. and mobility,whic. should support their widespread usage in years to c.me.

Objec.ive:To formulate and evaluate ac.c.ovir mic.oc.psules using bakers ***: Ac.c.ovir,pretreated yeast and deionised water were taken at a volumetric.ratio of 1:2:4 *** suspension was agitated in a magnetic.stirrer at 25℃30℃.35℃,and 40℃for 4 *** suspension was then c.ntrifuged for 10 minutes at 2 000 *** supernatant solution was dec.nted and the c.lls were washed 5 times with deionised *** the suspended drug entrapped yeast c.lls were dried in a lyophillizer for 48 *** yield was ***:The first four formulations were done with 200 mg of the drug,followed by 400 mg for the next four formulations and 800 mg the last four *** showed that the surfac. of the mic.oc.psules was intac.,with no burst *** showed no interac.ion between ac.c.ovir and the c.ll *** showed that the peak was within the standard values. The mean partic.e size for all the samples was 8μm in *** dissolution studies were done for all the twelve samples and showed a Fic.ian model of ***: From the results it is inferred that the samples prepared at 40℃(FY-4,FY- 8,FY-12) show better entrapment and *** these samples are formulated in the form of a suspension and c.mpared with marketed ac.c.ovir suspension using HPLc.*** formulated suspensions with FY-4,FY-8 and FY-12 shows drug c.ntent in ac.ordanc. with the standards of the pharmac.poeial limits.

We c.nsider the energy dynamic. of the power generation from the sun when the solar energy is c.n- c.ntrated on to the emitter ofa thermo-elec.ronic.c.nverter with the help of a parabolic.mirror. We use the modified Ric.ardson-Dushman equation. The emitter c.oss sec.ion is assumed to be exac.ly equal to the foc.sed area at a height h from the base of the mirror to prevent loss of effic.enc.. We report the variation of output power with solar insolation, height h, reflec.ivity of the mirror, and anode temperature, initially assuming that there is no spac. c.arge effec.. Our methodology allows us to predic. the temperature at whic. the anode must be c.oled in order to prevent loss of effic.enc. of power c.nversion. Novel ways of tac.ling the spac. c.arge problem have been disc.ssed. The spac. c.arge effec. is modeled through the introduc.ion of a parameter f （0 〈 f 〈 1） in the thermos-elec.ron emission equation. We find that the effic.enc. of the power c.nversion depends on solar insolation, height h, apart from radii R of the c.nc.ntrator aperture and emitter, and the c.llec.or material properties. We have also c.nsidered solar thermos elec.ronic.power c.nversion by using single atom-layer graphene as an emitter.

Silic.n is well known for its strong third-order optic.l nonlinearity,exhibiting effic.ent superc.ntinuum and four-wave mixing proc.sses.A strong sec.nd-order effec. that is naturally inhibited in silic.n c.n also be observed,for example,by elec.ric.lly breaking the inversion symmetry and quasi-phase matc.ing the pump and the *** generate an effic.ent broadband sec.nd-harmonic.signal,however,the most promising tec.nique requires matc.ing the group veloc.ties of the pump and the *** this work,we utilize dispersion engineering of a silic.n waveguide to ac.ieve group veloc.ty matc.ing between the pump and the signal,along with an additional degree of freedom to broaden the sec.nd harmonic.through the strong third-order *** demonstrate that the strong self-phase modulation and c.oss-phase modulation in silic.n help broaden the sec.nd harmonic.by 200 nm in the ***,we show a waveguide design that c.n be used to generate a sec.nd-harmonic.signal in the entire nearinfrared *** work paves the way for various applic.tions,suc. as effic.ent and broadband c.mplementarymetal oxide semic.nduc.or based on-c.ip frequenc. synthesizers,entangled photon pair generators,and optic.l parametric.osc.llators.

Objec.ive:To isolate and evaluate c.mparatively the binding effic.c. of the muc.lages obtained from the plants of Hibisc.s rosasinensis and Okra(Abelmosc.us esc.lentus).Methods:Extrac.ion of muc.lages from the leaves of Hibisc.s and pods of Okra(Ladies finger) was c.rried out by a c.ld mac.ration *** extrac.ed muc.lages were subjec.ed to various physic.c.emic.l properties for its suitability as an exc.pient in the formulation of tablet dosage *** c.nc.ntrations(10,8,5,2 and 1%w/v) of binder solutions of Hibisc.s and Okra were used for the formulation of tablets and the formulated tablets were evaluated by studying the standard parameters like diameter,thic.ness,weight variation,hardness,friability,disintegration and in vitro *** studies of the formulated tablets were c.nduc.ed for four weeks. Results:The formulated tablets prepared using the muc.lages of both Hibisc.s and Okra had good *** in vitro drug release profile of the tablets prepared using Okra muc.lage had an optimum of 90%at a muc.lage c.nc.ntration of 1%w/v c.nc.ntration muc.lage itself within 4 ***:Ac.ording to the observations,the lower c.nc.ntration levels of Okra c.n be used as an alternative binder to *** higher c.nc.ntration levels of Okra muc.lage show a slow and sustained release,and c.n be c.nsidered as an alternative natural exc.pient in the modified drug delivery *** the same time,the above natural exc.pient of Hibisc.s muc.lage c.uld be used as a platform for prolonged release if its binder c.nc.ntrations are inc.eased.

Bac.ground: The World Health Organization (WHO) initiated the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in 1974. It has been widely used in different studies. Along with this, other survey methodologies have been c.mpared to study immunization c.verage at different regions. To c.nsider different survey methodologies, one of the most important fac.ors is the c.st inc.rred that survey methodology. A survey method is c.nsidered as more effic.ent or better than the other survey method if the c.st inc.rred in a partic.lar method is less than the other one. Methods: In this study, c.st inc.rred in two stage (30 × 30) c.uster sampling and systematic.sampling methods have been c.mpared using a c.st func.ion for measles vac.ine c.verage. Measles vac.ine c.verage data has been taken from the survey “c.mparison of Two Survey Methodologies to Estimates Total Vac.ination c.verage” sponsored by Indian c.unc.l of Medic.l Researc. (Ic.R), New Delhi. Results: The results show that there are no signific.nt differenc.s between the point estimates of measles vac.ine c.verage under the c.nsidered survey methodologies. But the c.st inc.rred in systematic.sampling is more than that of two stage c.uster sampling. c.nc.usion: It c.n be c.nc.uded that systematic.sampling survey is c.stlier than that of two stage c.uster sampling for this study population.

Objec.ive:To investigate the hepatoprotec.ive ac.ivity of Averroha c.rambola fruit extrac. against c.rbon tetrac.loride induc.d hepatic.***:Hepatotoxic.ty was induc.d on albino mic. by intraperitoneal administration of c.l4.half an hour after the administration of the last dose of the extrac. of Averroha c.rambola *** extrac. of the fruit of Averroha c.rambola was administered at a dose of 0.9 g/kg body weight onc. daily for seven *** hepatic.injury and its prevention was assessed by the estimation of serum ac.ivities of alanine aminotransferase（ALT）,aspartate aminotransferase（AST）,alkaline phosphates（ALP）,glutathione level and histopathologic.l studies of ***:Pre-treatment of mic. with the fruit extrac. of Averrhoea c.rambola signific.ntly reduc.d serum levels of ALT,AST and ALP enzyme and signific.ntly inc.eased the liver reduc.d glutathione levels 24 h after the administration of c.rbon tetrac.loride.A marked improvement in the enzyme ac.ivities and the liver reduc.d glulathione level was observed in the pre-treated mic. 4 days after the administration of c.rbon tetrac.loride.
