dear Editor,This letter proposes a parameter-free multiple kernel clustering(MKC)method by using shifted Laplacian *** MKC can effectively cluster nonlinear data,but it faces two main challenges:1)As an unsupervised method,it is up against parameter problems which makes the parameters intractable to tune and is unfeasible in real-life applications;2)Only considers the clustering information,but ignores the interference of noise within Laplacian.

Strigolactones （SLs） are plant hormones that regulate different aspects of plant development. In roots, SLs are involved in the regulation of lateral-root formation and they induce root-hair elongation （Kapulnik et al., 2011）. They are also exuded from plant roots and act as stimulators of parasitic and symbiotic （e.g., arbuscular mycorrhizae） interactions. SLs are perceived in plants by a specific reception system that consists of several interacting proteins （reviewed by AI-Babili and Bouwmeester, 2015）.

GUN4 is a porphyrin-binding protein involved in chlorophyll biosynthesis regulation and intracellular signaling （Larkin et al., 2003）. It directly interacts with the catalytic subunit of magnesium chelatase, a branch-point enzyme for the chlorophyll biosynthetic pathway from heine synthesis （Tanaka and Tanaka, 2007）.

This study examines the role of the syntactic complexity of the text in the reading comprehension skills of *** the qualitative method of research,this paper used structured interview questions as the main data-gathering *** language teachers from Coral na Munti National High School were selected as the respondents of the *** of the study suggests that the syntactic complexity of the text affects the reading comprehension of the *** found it challenging to understand the message that the author conveyed if he or she used a large number of phrases and clauses in one ***,the complex sentence syntactic structure was deemed the most challenging for students to *** overcome said challenges in comprehending text,various reading intervention programs were utilized by *** interventions include focused or targeted instruction and the implementation of the Project dear,suggested by the department of *** programs were proven to help students improve their comprehension as well as their knowledge in syntactical structure of *** study underscores the importance of selecting appropriate reading materials and implementing suitable reading intervention programs to enhance students’comprehension skills.

dear Editor,Bamboos(Bambusoideae,Poaceae)are of significant economic and ecological importance,supporting billions of people and contributing to international trade(Wu et al.,2023).They play a crucial role in carbon fixation and support a multitude of other species including the giant panda(Clark et al.,2015).Since the release of the first draft genome of moso bamboo(Phyllostachys edulis)(Peng et al.,2013),there has been a notable increase in the sequencing,assembly,and annotation of diverse bamboo genomes(Guo et al.,2019;Zheng et al.,2022;Ma et al.,2024).An existing resource for bamboo genomics,BambooGDB(Zhao et al.,2014),provides information based on the individual draft reference genome of moso *** is needed,however,is a resource reinforcing multiple genome assemblies in Bambusoideae to enable researchers to unravel the evolutionary history of chromosomes and genes through cladespecific comparative genomic ***,we present BambooBase(https://***/),a newly developed web-based database designed to provide a seamless user experience for bamboo omics and systematics.

dear editor:We sincerely thank Matthew *** for his insightful commentary1 on our recent publication in the Journal of Sport and Health Science.2 Clarkson's pioneering work in the development and application of blood flow restriction (BFR) exercise protocols has undeniably laid the groundwork for subsequent investigations in this field,including our own.(3-6)His commentary not only highlights the relevance and timeliness of our study but also offers valuable perspectives on refining safety considerations for intradialytic BFR exercise among hemodialysis patients.
