The recently deployed Transition Region Explorer(TREx)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky im.ger(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”im.ges of.the aurora and *** the 557.7 nm.green line is usually the brightest em.ssion line in visible auroras,the green channel of.a TREx-RGB cam.ra is usually dom.nated by the 557.7 nm.*** this rationale,the TREx m.ssion does not include a specif.c 557.7 nm.im.ger and is designed to use the RGB green-channel data as a proxy f.r the 557.7 nm.*** this study,we present an initial ef.ort to establish the conversion ratio or f.rm.la linking the RGB green-channel data to the absolute intensity of.557.7 nm.auroras,which is crucial f.r quantitative uses of.the RGB *** illustrate two approaches:(1)through a com.arison with the collocated m.asurem.nt of.green-line auroras f.om.the TREx spectrograph,and(2)through a com.arison with the m.deled green-line intensity according to realistic electron precipitation f.ux m.asurem.nts f.om.low-Earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of.an auroral transport *** dem.nstrate the procedures and provide initial results f.r the TREx-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake *** RGB response is f.und to be *** conversion ratios or f.rm.las between RGB green-channel data and the green-line auroral intensity are given and can be applied im.ediately by TREx-RGB data *** m.thodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcom.ng Sm.LE ASI m.ssion,which will adopt a sim.lar RGB cam.ra system.in its deploym.nt.

HACEK organism. represent a rare but im.ortant group of.causative pathogens in endocarditis. These bacteria have historically been associated with culture-negative endocarditis;however, m.dern laboratory techniques have m.de this less com.on. In this case, we present a 74-year-old m.n who presented with acute onset altered m.ntation, f.ver, and sepsis. He was ultim.tely f.und to have Haem.philus inf.uenzae m.ningitis, cerebral em.yem., aortic valve endocarditis, psoas m.ositis, and L2 - L3 diskitis with osteom.elitis. Although HACEK organism. are com.only f.und in the oropharynx and upper respiratory tract in hum.ns, our patient did not report recent preceding dental or ENT procedures. H. inf.uenzae is responsible f.r approxim.tely 0.16% of.all cases of.bacterial endocarditis, representing a very lim.ted subset. Although generally considered low virulent pathogens, this case dem.nstrates the unusual extent of.inf.ction f.om.a HACEK organism. H. inf.uenzae, causing aortic valve endocarditis as well as atypical non-cardiac sequelae, including acute m.ningitis.

This work explored possibilities of.biodegradable m.gnesium.alloy m.-3Y preparation by two m.dern powder m.tallurgy techniques–spark plasm. sintering(SPS)and selective laser m.lting(SLm..The powder m.terial was consolidated by both m.thods utilising optim.sed param.ters,which led to very low porosity(∼0.3%)in the SLm.m.terial and unm.asurably low porosity in the SPS *** m.in aim.of.the study was the thorough m.crostructure characterisation and interrelation between the m.crostructure and the f.nctional properties,such as m.chanical strength,def.rm.bility,and corrosion *** m.terials showed com.arable strength of.110 m.a in tension and com.ression and relatively good def.rm.bility of.9%and∼21%f.r the SLm.and SPS m.terials,*** corrosion resistance of.the SPS m.terial in 0.1 m.NaCl solution was superior to the SLm.one and com.arable to the conventional extruded *** digital im.ge correlation during loading and the cross-section analysis of.the corrosion layers revealed that the residual porosity and large strained grains have the dom.nant negative ef.ect on the f.nctional properties of.the SLm.*** the other hand,one of.the prim.ry outcom.s of.this study is that the SPS consolidation m.thod is very ef.ective in the preparation of.the W3 biodegradable alloy,resulting in m.terial with convenient m.chanical and degradation properties that m.ght f.nd practical applications.

In this paper,the synthesis,structural evolution,and dielectric properties of.BaTiO3solid solutions codoped with rare earth elem.nts(Gd3+and Eu3+) prepared using the solid-state reaction m.thod are *** pure precursor powders of.BaCl3,TiO2,Gd2O3,and Eu2O3were m.xed in stoichiom.tric proportions,ground in an agate m.rtar bef.re being uniaxially pressed at 250 m.a and sintered at 1300℃ in air atm.sphere f.r 6 h to obtain Ba1-3xGd2xTi1-3xEu4xO3（x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1）.X-ray dif.raction（XRd） and Rietveld's ref.nem.nt results reveal the crystal phase f.rroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3f.r the sam.les with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01, as well as a consistent increm.nt in the lattice param.ters caused by the *** solubility lim.t of.Gd3+and Eu3+in the BaTiO3structure is reached f.r the sam.le with x>0.01,and the orthorhom.ic Eu2TiO5and m.noclinic BaTi2O5secondary phases were *** Ram.n results show the characteristic peaks of.f.rroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3around 716 cm.1（LO of.A1 sym.etry）,515 cm.1（TO of.A1 sym.etry）,and 305 cm.1（B1）.The m.xim.m.relative perm.ttivity m.asured at 1 kHz was recorded to be 6151.8 f.r the sam.le with x=0.0015,and a decrease in the Curie tem.erature to 105℃ with respect to the undoped sam.le was *** punctual m.croanalysis f.r the sam.les with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 reveals grains com.osed of.Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and Eu hom.geneously distributed in the *** Ba/Ti ratios f.r sam.les with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are 2.86,2.91,and 0.68,respectively,indicating substitution at the Ti site f.r sam.les with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site f.r the sam.le with x=0.1.

The captive white-tailed deer industry has an estim.ted im.act of.1.6 billion USd in the state of.Texas alone. However, nutritional requirem.nts f.r cervids are determ.ned through research based on sheep and goats. The objective of.this study was to determ.ne the ef.ects of.zinc on dif.erences in dry m.tter digestibility in vitro f.r white-tailed does (Odocoileus virginianus). deer (n = 2) were ethically harvested, rum.ns were collected, and placed into a cooler containing warm.water. Rum.n contents were agitated, and f.uid was f.ltered using cheese cloth while applying CO2. f.uid was placed into f.ur separate incubator jars with f.lter bags containing a 1:1 alf.lf. to coastal hay blend. Zinc doses of.0.073 m./kg/d equivalents were added to two of.the jars ( Zn), and the additional two jars received 0.00 m./kg/d (CON). f.llowing 48 h of.incubation, in vitro true digestibility (IVTd) showed no signif.cant dif.erences between the control and the treatm.nt groups. Average dry m.tter digested in vitro was 91.87% and 95.13%, respectively. There were no dif.erences detected in Adf. Ndf. IVTd, or Om.between the treatm.nt groups. While no detectable dif.erences were observed in this study, this m.thodology did prove to be viable and f.nctional f.r m.crobial digestion in vitro. This study can be replicated with m.ltiple experim.ntal units to conf.rm.the observations of.increased digestibility. f.rm.l nutritional guidelines can be created to allow f.r m.re ef.icient f.eding of.cervids thereby reducing f.ed costs and continuing the growth of.the captive deer industry.
