Porphyrin,phthalocyanine and their analogues have been intensively studied in the past one century in the field of life science,chemistry,physics,and material sciences because of their unique chemical and physical properties associated with the easy modification of their molecular structures.[1] In particular,the equatorial or sandwiched coordination conformation for the complexation with the open-shell metals make an effective ligand field effect for transition metals and rare earths,leading to interesting magnetic *** a consequence,the mononuclear transition metal complexes with spin carrier surrounded by the in-plane structural porphyrins or phthalocyanine have been proposed as a node to construct low dimensional magnetic materials by using the exposed axis positions,resulting in 0 D single-molecule magnets（SMMs） and 1 D single-chain magnet（SCM） and *** one of the most famous magnetic transferring groups,cyanide groups show some unique characteristics in the process of preparing heterometallic molecular magnetic materials for some well known *** recent reports have proved that dicyanide-containing building blocks based on large equatorial in-plane ligands are suitable building blocks for assembling into low-dimensional magnetic complexes [2-3].A new phthalocyanine-based dicyanide-containing building block with low spin Mn（III） ion as magnetic center has been prepared,structurally and magnetically characterized.

In the past three decades,molecular magnetic complexes continue to attract great research interest not only for the purpose of fully elucidating the nature of magnetic coupling,magneto-structural correlation,and some exotic magnetic phenomena but also due to their potential applications in high-tech fields.[1-3]Among of the all kinds of assembling segments used to synthesize magnetic complexes,manganese（Ⅲ）-salen（salen=N,N-ethylene-bissalicylideneiminate）complexes containing N2O2 equatorial salen-type ligands have been given much attention due to their facile preparation and large spin state（S=2）as well as the usually negative magnetic anisotropy of the central Mn（Ⅲ）ions.A crown contained chiral Schiff-base manganese（Ⅲ）complex has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectroscopy and X-ray structure *** X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the cationic mononuclear manganese（Ⅲ）Schiff-base compounds are self-complementary through intermolecular O-H…O hydrogen bond interactions formed by coordinated aqua ligand from one molecule and the phenolic oxygen atoms from the neighboring one,giving supramolecular dimmeric *** also the help of the hydrogen bond interactions between the O atom of the cocrystallized crown molecule and that of the above dimmer,one-dimensional supramolecular chain structure can be formed.

Molecular magnetic complexes continue to attract great research interest not only for the purpose of fully elucidating the nature of magnetic coupling,magneto-structural correlation,and some exotic magnetic phenomena but also due to their potential applications in high-tech fields.[1-3]Among which,as one of the most important magnetic systems,cyanide-bridged complexes have got much attention since their molecular topological structures and magnetic coupling nature between neighboring metal ions through the cyanide bridge can be relatively readily controlled and *** employing trans-dicyanometalate as building block and using bicompartimental Schiff-base based manganese（Ⅲ）compound as assemble segment,a new cyanide-bridged heterometallic Fe（Ⅲ）-Mn（Ⅲ）complex{[Mn（L）（H2O）][Fe（bpb）（CN）2]}·2CH3OH(bpb2-=1,2-bis（pyridine-2-carboxamido）benzenate,L=N,N’-ethylene-bis（3-ethoxysalicylideneiminate）has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectroscopy and X-ray structure *** X-ray diffraction analysis reveals its neutral binuclear Fe Mn structure,in which the cyanide precursor acts as monodentate ligand to connect the Mn（Ⅲ）Schiff-base *** over magnetic susceptibility of the title complex reveals the overall weak antiferromagnetic coupling between the cyanide-bridged Fe（Ⅲ）and Mn（Ⅲ）ions.

Because the molecule-based magnetic materials can provide fundamental insight into interesting magnetic phenomena and are with potential application in magnetic devices,the molecular magnetism has always been a frontier research area during the past decade. Among which,due to the excellent magnetic transferring ability between the paramagnetic metal centers and the comparatively easy prediction of the magnetic coupling nature mediated by the cyanide bridge,the cyanide-bridged magnetic complexes have been given intense attention in the molecular magnetism field,and such intention have also led to many progress in this field.[1-3]The polyaza macrocyclic ligands with some rigid character obtained by condensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine and polyamine,which are usually coordinated to the equatorial plane of metal ions with only two trans replaceable sites weakly bonded to other ligands,have been proved to be good ancillary ligands to assemble low-dimensional structural cyanide-bridged *** incorporating 3 d paramagnetic metal ions Mn(Ⅱ),Co(Ⅱ),Fe(Ⅱ),Fe(Ⅲ),Ni(Ⅱ),*** these types of macrocyclic ligands,a few of low-dimensional magnetic complexes with interesting magnetic properties have been *** two-dimensional cyanide-bridged Fe-Ni coordination polymer has been successfully prepared with the polyaza macrocyclic compound[Ni(L)](Scheme 1) as assemble segment,and structurally and magnetically characterized.

The already sizable field of metalrganic framework(MOF) chemistry continues to expand at a remarkable pace,in part because of the seemingly limitless number of potential structures,but also because of myriad potential *** among these applications is chemical *** zeolites(by far the most widely used catalysts industrially) MOFs promise catalysis-friendly features such as large internal surface areas,extensive micro-and/or mesoporosity,and crystallographically well-defined cavities and portals of molecular *** addition,because they enlist the chemistry of carbon they offer enormous tunability with respect to chemical functionality and *** seemingly attractive would be MOFs containing metalloporphyrins,as metalated porphyrins and their congeners are ubiquitous in metallo-enzymology,functioning,for example,as the key active sites in a range of oxidases,peroxidases,isomerases,dehalogenases,and transferases.1-3 Indeed,one of the earliest intentional attempts(Robson and co-workers) to create a crystalline and permanently microporous MOF utilized copper porphyrins as building ***,only one has been shown to be both catalytically competent and porous with respect to chemical reactants,despite of the fact that many two-or three-dimensional porphyrinic MOFs have been ***,we report a new nickel porphyrin-based metal organic framework,which has been preliminarily proven an active catalysis for some specific organic reactions.

During the past two decades,the new types of molecular-based magnetic materials,such as single-molecule magnets(SMMs),single-chain magnets(SCMs) and other molecular magnet with slow magnetic relaxation,have been extensively studied due to their unique potential applications for molecular devices,high density information storage,and quantum *** which,the cyanide-bridged magnetic coordination complexes have always been given intense attention because not only of their various structure types ranging from OD cluster to 3 D network but also more importantly of their interesting magnetic properties mediated by the cyanide bridge between the homo-or hetero-paramagnetic metal ions.[1-3]For the synthesis of the low-dimensional cyanide-bridged complexes with desirable molecular structures,several effect factors such as the number and the position of cyanide groups,the number and the nature of charges of the cyanidecontaining building blocks,and the steric effect of the reactants must be taken into ***,the design and preparation of novel cyanide-containing building blocks of polycyanideiron(Ⅲ)[Fe(L)(CN)](L represents blocking ligand),which can play an important role in the synthesis of cyanide-bridged molecular magnetic materials,has become practical idea in cyanide-bridged magnetic field.A new pentacyanometallate structurally characterized as 1 D coordination polymer,which is with the excellent potential to act as building block to assemble cyanide-bridged magnetic complexes,has been prepared.

Owing to the excellent transfer of cyanide bridge for magnetic coupling between the paramagnetic centers,cyanide-bridged heterobimetallic complexes with different structure types and various dimensions including 0D polynuclear clusters,1D chains,and 2D and 3D networks have been extensively studied in the field of molecule-based magnetic *** design and synthesis of new cyanide-containing building blocks of polycyanometallates is a viable strategy for the preparation of cyanide-bridged molecular magnetic ***,due to the important role of the auxiliary ligand attached to the metal center in determining the number of charges,the arrangement of cyanide groups,and steric effect of the polycyanometallates[M(L)(CN)],the reasonable selection of the blocking ligand has become one of the most effective methods to control the molecular topological structure of the target cyanide-bridged magnetic *** on the above considerations,we have developed a series of rigid trans-dicyanometallic compounds based on planar tetradentate pyridinecarboxamide lignds for the construction of molecular-based cyanide-bridged magnetic ***,the research results have proved that the relatively large equatorial plane of the cyanide precursors can effectively reduce the dimension of the target complexes and weaken the supramolecular magnetic interaction between the metal atoms,thus facilitating the formation of the cyanide-bridged magnetic systems with various structures and interesting magnetic *** we report a new cyanide-bridged neutral trinuclear sandwich-like Fe-Cu complex based-on the *** over the magnetic property of the neutral trinuclear sandwich-like complex reveals an overall antiferromagnetic coupling between the Fe(Ⅲ) and Cu(Ⅱ) ions bridged by cyanide group.

In the recent past several decades,metal copmlexes with the diversified topological structures and interesting properties are evolving at an alarming rate in the field of molecular *** to the significant role of the cyanide group as a remarkable magnetic linker in tuning the ferro-or antiferromagnetic coupling interaction between paramagnetic centers and the excellent stabilization ability on a variety of transition metal centers and oxidation states with or without the peripheral ligands,the cyanide-bridged magnetic complexes have been widely studied in molecular magnetism field. A rigid polyaza macrocyclic ligand obtained by condensing 2,6-diacetylpyridine and 3,3’-diamino(N-methyl)dipropylamine are usually in a coordination assembly on the equatorial *** Ni(Ⅱ) compound based-on the above macrocycle ligand has only two binding sites in the axial direction that can coordinate with other ligands,which have been proved good ancillary ligands to assemble cyanide-bridged ***-dimensional cyanide-bridged bimetallic complex was successfully synthesized by reacting [Ni(L)](L = 2,7,12-trimethyl-3,7,11,17-tetraazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene) with K[Ag(CN)],for which the magnetic property was also investigated.
