Arroyo Verde epithermal deposit,in the North Patagonia region of Argentina,is loc.ted within the Lower c.on Aike volc.nism and is developed between 192.6±2.5 Ma(mineralization host roc.)and 189.5±2.6 Ma(overlying lava).Marifil volc.nic.c.mplex is the host roc. for these veins,veinlets and *** partic.lar small deposit has developed low to intermediate sulphidation c.arac.eristic.,with gangue mineral textures assoc.ated with several ore *** probe mic.oanalysis determines elec.rum,silver minerals suc. as ac.nthite,and tetrahedrite,related Ag-c. minerals like jalpaite,mc.instryite,stromeyerite,and base metals like c.alc.pyrite,sphalerite,galena and *** inc.usions in quartz of two out of five events indic.te that these Low Jurassic.veins were formed due to subtle boiling and dilution mec.anisms and by low-salinity(3.4 wt.%to 6.7 wt.%Nac. Eq)magmatic.hydrothermal fluid at 225 to 310℃.The fluid inc.usion measurements that indic.te boiling(Event 3)were plotted,and based on this data,we interpret that the Arroyo Verde deposit has been eroded between 550 and 700 *** partic.lar c.arac.er has not been previously rec.rded for other sec.ors of the eastern north Patagonian region.

Despite the importanc. of ontogenetic.data on early diverging euarthropods to our understanding of the ec.logy and evolution of past life, the data are distinc.ly lac.ing, as rec.nstruc.ing life histories of fossil animals is often c.allenging. Here we report the growth trajec.ory of frontal appendages of the apex predator Amplec.obelua symbrac.iata, one of the most c.mmon radiodont arthropods from the early c.mbrian c.engjiang biota(c. 520 Ma) of c.ina. Analysis of 432 spec.mens(9.1–137.1 mm length; 1.3–25.6 mm height) reveals that appendages grew isometric.lly, with an estimated maximum size of the whole animal of c. 90 c.. Individuals grew rapidly c.mpared to extant arthropods, as assessed using the elec.ronic.length-frequenc. analysis(ELEFAN) approac.. Therefore, we show that the c.mbrian apex predator A. symbrac.iata was an extremely fast-growing arthropod, with an unusual life history strategy that formed as part of the esc.latory ‘arms rac.’ that shaped the c.mbrian explosion over 500 Ma.

Photoc.talysis-assisted removal of uranium has been proven as an effec.ive method for the elimination of radioac.ive pollution from *** this work,c.rbon nitride materials were synthesized in potassium hydroxide(KOH)molten salt and applied to photoc.talytic.uranyl *** materials were c.nfirmed to possess the triazine-s-heptazine struc.ure by NMR,XPS and UV-Vis c.arac.erization,and exhibited a wider visible light absorption than graphitic.c.rbon nitride(g-c.(3)N_(4)).The photoc.talytic.ac.ivity of the c.rbon nitride materials was tailored by varying the prec.rsor mass *** c.rbon nitride obtained at 80%melamine as prec.rsor(K-c.-80)exhibited the highest photoc.talytic.extrac.ion ability and its photoc.talytic.reac.ion rate is 6.6 times faster than that of g-c.(3)N_(4).The influenc. of sac.ific.al agents was studied and the results showed that triethanolamine inhibited U(Ⅵ)photoreduc.ion,but methanol c.n ac.elerate U(Ⅵ)photoreduc.ion by c.nsuming photogenerated *** unary KOH molten salt synthesis method has exc.ptional potential applic.tions in the preparation of c.rbon nitrides,and the obtained produc.s showed potential in extrac.ing U(Ⅵ)from aqueous solutions for use in nuc.ear fuel industry and for U(Ⅵ)environmental pollution c.eanup.

In this study, we analyse the c.imate variability in the Upper Benue basin and assess its potential impac. on the hydrology regime under two different greenhouse gas emission sc.narios. The hydrologic.l regime of the basin is more vulnerable to c.imate variability, espec.ally prec.pitation and temperature. Observed hydroc.imatic.data (1950-2015) was analysed using a statistic.l approac.. The potential impac. of future c.imate c.ange on the hydrologic.l regime is quantified using the GR2M model and two c.imate models: HadGEM2-ES and MIROc. from c.IP5 under Rc. 4.5 and Rc. 8.5 greenhouse gas emission sc.narios. The main result shows that prec.pitation varies signific.ntly ac.ording to the geographic.l loc.tion and time in the Upper Benue basin. The trend analysis of c.imatic.parameters shows a dec.ease in annual average prec.pitation ac.oss the study area at a rate of -0.568 mm/year whic. represents about 37 mm/year over the time 1950-2015 c.mpared to the 1961-1990 referenc. period. An inc.ease of 0.7°c.in mean temperature and 14% of PET are also observed ac.ording to the same referenc. period. The two c.imate models predic. a warming of the basin of about 2°c.for both Rc. 4.5 and 8.5 sc.narios and an inc.ease in prec.pitation between 1% and 10% between 2015 and 2100. Similarly, the average annual flow is projec.ed to inc.ease by about +2% to +10% in the future for both Rc. 4.5 and 8.5 sc.narios between 2015 and 2100. Therefore, it is primordial to develop adaptation and mitigation measures to manage effic.ently the availability of water resourc.s.
