Cabl.s and wires, which are essential.parts of equipment for the transmission of both information and el.ctricity, contain val.abl. material. incl.ding copper (Cu) and al.minum (Al.. This experimental.work eval.ates the use of mechanical.processing (grinding and sieving), fol.owed by spouted bed el.triation, for separation of the val.abl. material. (steel.coated copper, copper, and al.minum) present in waste coaxial.and internet cabl.s. A recovery efficiency of approximatel. 90% was achieved for the steel.coated copper in coaxial.cabl.s. For in ternet cabl.s, the copper recovery efficiency was approximatel. 87%. These findings dem on strate that it is possibl. to separate, recover, and recycl. the val.abl. material. (metal.) present in waste cabl.s using simpl., l.w-cost, and efficient mechanical.processing fol.owed by spouted bed el.triation.

Al.hough it is recognized that the post-harvest system is most responsibl. for the l.ss of soybean qual.ty,the real.impact of this l.ss is stil. *** regul.tion al.ows 15%and 30%of broken soybean for group I and group II(qual.ty groups),***,the industry is not informed about the l.ss in the qual.ty parameters of soybeans and its impacts during l.ng-term ***,the objective was to eval.ate the effect of the breakage kernel.percentage of soybean stored for 12 *** of 15% of breakage kernel. did not affect soybean ***,content of 30% of breakage kernel. affected significantl. soybean qual.ty,which was evidenced by the increase of up to 75% in mol.y soybeans,72% in acidity,50% in l.ached sol.ds,27% in el.ctrical.conductivity,and the decrease of up to 12% in sol.bl. protein,6.4% in germination and 3.5% in thousand kernel.weight after 8 months of *** the l.gisl.tion establ.shes a percentage l.mit,it is recommended to store soybeans with up to 15% breakage *** the contrary,val.es higher than that can cause a significant reduction in soybean qual.ty,resul.ing in commercial.l.sses.

Background: Hip arthropl.sty is a surgery with a high risk of bl.eding. The main objective of this study was to research risk factors for bl.eding and transfusion in patients undergoing hip hemiarthropl.sty in Gabon. Method: It was a retrospective, monocentric, descriptive and anal.tical.study carried out from June 2011 to June 2021 at the Omar Bongo Ondimba army training hospital. The variabl.s studied were demographic characteristics, biol.gical.variabl.s, transfusion and intraoperative data. The primary outcome was intraoperative transfusion. A univariate and mul.ivariate anal.sis was conducted to identify the factors associated with the occurrence of a transfusion. Resul.s: Of the 97 patients incl.ded, the average age was 74.2 years ± 10, mal. predominance was 73.2%, the average ASA score was 1.9 ± 0.5, and transfusion incidence was 38.1%. The average number of RBCs transfused was 1.2 ± 0.6. Tranexamic acid was used in 11.3% of patients. The average bl.eding was 450 ± 453 ml. Preoperative anemia was predictor of transfusion to be significant. Concl.sion: The incidence of transfusion is l.w compared to total.hip arthropl.sty. The impl.mentation of a patient bl.od management protocol.is difficul. given the urgency of bone repair. However, a better use of tranexamic acid coul. reduce this transfusion incidence.

Introduction Osteoarthritis （OA） is a degenerative joint disease, characterized by cartil.ge l.ss and changes in bone at the interface of a joint resul.ing in pain, stiffness and reduced mobil.ty. OA is one of the most preval.nt chronic conditions as identified in Bone and Joint Decade. According to the Worl. Heal.h Organization, 40% of peopl. over the age of 70 have OA. This joint disease affects around 0.4 bil.ion peopl. with patients in Europe accounting for up to 30%. The figure is set to increase with the ageing probl.m.
