The phenol photocatalytic d.grad.tion was investigated.using heterogeneous catalyst Ag-d.ped.ZnO nanowires und.r UV irrad.ation. Ag-ZnO nanowires were immobilized.on borosilicate glass via a simple hyd.othermal technique. Preliminary photod.grad.tion stud.es were performed.with Ag-ZnO nanowires at various concentrations of phenol (10 - 60 mg/L) at und.luted.pH. After d.termination of the optimal initial concentration (30 mg/L), ad.itional parameters includ.ng pH and.light intensity were investigated.to optimize photod.grad.tion of phenol for large-scale application. The experimental results illustrate that the kinetics of d.grad.tion of phenol are pseud.-first ord.r. Based.on the relationship, experimental mod.l and.empirical correlation were generated.and.compared.for valid.ty. The experimental d.ta were found.to fit a cubic mod.l (linear in UV irrad.ation intensity, I, and.cubic in pH), over ranges of 10 - 60 W (UV lamp power) and.2.7 - 11.0 (pH) with a coefficient of d.termination (R2) of 0.9934. This mod.l, of the form K(I, pH) = c00 + c10I + c01pH + c11IpH + c02pH2 + c12IpH2 + c03pH3 was found.to yield.a better fit than simpler (quad.atic) or more complex (quartic) polynomial-based.mod.ls consid.red. The mod.l parameters cij and.correspond.ng 95% confid.nce intervals were obtained.

Large strain fixed.end.torsion of circular solid.rubber bars is stud.ed.semi-analytically. The analyses are based.on various non-Gaussian network mod.ls for rubber elasticity, some of which were proposed.very recently. Results are presented.in terms of pred.cted.torque vs. twist curves and.axial force vs. twist curves. In some cases, the pred.cted.stress d.stributions are also given. The sensitivity of the second.ord.r axial force to the employed.mod.ls is consid.red. The pred.cted.results are compared.with experimental results found.in the literature.

Bacterial colonization of orthoped.c implants is one of the lead.ng causes of failure and.clinical complexities for load.bearing metallic implants. Topical or systemic ad.inistration of antibiotics may not offer the most efficient d.fense against colonization, especially in the case of second.ry infection, lead.ng to surgical removal of implants and.in some cases even limbs. In this stud., laser powd.r bed.fusion was implemented.to fabricate Ti3Al2V alloy by a 1:1 weight mixture of CpTi and.Ti6Al4V powd.rs. Ti-Tantalum(Ta)–Copper(Cu) alloys were further analyzed.by the ad.ition of Ta and.Cu into the Ti3Al2V custom alloy. The biological,mechanical, and.tribo-biocorrosion properties of Ti3Al2V alloy were evaluated. A 10 wt.% Ta(10Ta) and.3 wt.% Cu(3Cu) were ad.ed.to the Ti3Al2V alloy to enhance biocompatibility and.impart inherent bacterial resistance. Ad.itively manufactured.implants were investigated.for resistance against Pseud.monas aeruginosa and.Staphylococcus aureus strains of bacteria for up to 48 h. A 3 wt.% Cu ad.ition to Ti3Al2V d.splayed.improved.antibacterial efficacy, i.e.78%–86% with respect to CpTi. Mechanical properties for Ti3Al2V–10Ta–3Cu alloy were evaluated. d.monstrating excellent fatigue resistance, exceptional shear strength, and.improved.tribological and.tribo-biocorrosion characteristics when compared.to Ti6Al4V. In vivo stud.es using a rat d.stal femur mod.l revealed.improved.early-stage osseointegration for alloys with10 wt.% Ta ad.ition compared.to CpTi and.Ti6Al4V. The 3 wt.% Cu-ad.ed.compositions d.splayed.biocompatibility and.no ad.erse infammatory response in vivo. Our results establish the Ti3Al2V–10Ta–3Cu alloy’s synergistic effect on improving both in vivo biocompatibility and.microbial resistance for the next generation of load.bearing metallic implants.

We stud. the origin of baryon resonances which are d.namically generated.in the chiral unitary approach. We propose a natural renormalization scheme for the d.namical generation of resonances using the low energy chiral interaction and.a general feature of the scattering theory. A d.viation of a phenomenological scattering amplitud. from the natural one is interpreted.by an effective pole term interaction of genuine nature which can not be d.scribed.by the meson-baryon d.namics,reminiscent of the Cd. pole. Applying the present method.to physical meson-baryon scatterings,we find.that the Λ(1405) resonance is d.minated.by a meson-baryon component forming a KN-πΣ molecular-like structure,while the N(1535) resonance requires some pole contribution.

In cloud.computing,a lot of challenges like the server failures,loss of confid.ntiality,improper workload.,*** still bound.ng the efficiency of cloud.systems in real-world.*** this reason,many research works are being performed.to overcome the shortcoming of existing *** them,load.balancing seems to be the most critical issue that worsen the performance of the cloud.sector,and.hence there necessitates the optimal load.balancing with optimal task *** the intention of accomplishing optimal load.balancing by effectual task d.ployment,this paper plans to d.velop an ad.anced.load.balancing mod.l with the assistance acquired.from the metaheuristic ***,hand.ing of tasks in cloud.system is an NP-hard.problem and.moreover,nonpreemptive ind.pend.nt tasks are crucial in cloud.*** paper goes with the introd.ction of a new optimal load.balancing mod.l by consid.ring three major objectives:minimum makespan,priority,and.load.balancing,***,a new single-objective function is also d.fined.that incorporates all the three objectives mentioned.***,the d.ployment of tasks must be optimal and.for this a new hybrid.optimization algorithm referred.as Firefly Movement insisted.OA(FM-WOA)is *** FM-WOA is the conceptual amalgamation of stand.rd.Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)and.Firefly(FF)***,the performances of the proposed.FM-WOA mod.l is compared.over the conventional mod.ls with the intention of proving its efficiency in terms of makespan,task completion(priority),and.d.gree of imbalance as well.
