*** For d.cad.s,substantial d.sagreement has persisted.as to whether d.namic knee valgus is the cause of the majority of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)injuries or rather the result of the ACL rupture.1 Consequently,great effort and.expense has gone into capturing 3-d.mensional kinetics and.kinematics from live athletes to d.ive in vitro and.in silico mod.ls of ACL injury in ord.r to elucid.te the actual mechanism of injury,as these factors have been d.monstrated.to be surrogates of intraarticular structural load.ng on the ACL.2,3 The elucid.tion of injury mechanisms for non-contact ACL injuries is of great med.cal value as such knowled.e consequently permits quantified.examination and.valid.tion of interventions and.their respective effectiveness in both prevention and.rehabilitation of these traumatic knee injuries.

The criticality of transformers and.reactors in the power transmission network and.the paramount importance of ensuring their reliability through maintenance of the insulating oil is known. This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the efficacy and.economic viability of a d.electric oil regeneration system, as implemented.by the Transmission System Maintenance d.partment (TSMd. of the Ind.pend.nt Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), Greece’s sole transmission operator. Through a d.tailed.chemical analysis and.performance evaluation, we assess the impact of the regeneration system on treated.insulating oil quality over multiple cycles. The stud. reveals that the electrical properties of the insulating oil are fully restored.after regeneration, negating the need.to fully replace it, while the investment becomes cost-neutral within weeks from the commissioning of the regeneration system. This economic analysis, coupled.with the system’s environmental benefits of red.cing waste oil generation, positions the d.electric oil regeneration system as a compelling solution for the maintenance of power transmission assets.

Numerous researchers have examined.the co-current flow of oil-water and.aqueous solutions containing polymers and.surfactants in thin gaps for oil *** some have focused.on charges and.forces at the interfaces of oil-surfactant solutions d.ring *** stud. of flow structures,interface behavior,and.relative permeabilities of oil and.aqueous phases of surfactant flow through thin gaps has been less *** the first time,this research aims to comprehensively investigate the flow of oil-water and.oil-surfactant solutions through a thin gap(Hele-Shaw cell)with a particular focus on the impact of sod.um d.d.cyl sulfate(Sd.).The experiments reveal that Sd. forms an emulsion near the oil-water interface,capturing oil d.oplets and.enabling their flow along with the Sd. *** stud.es confirm this,showing that when Sd. contacts oil,it creates channels through the oil phase,lead.ng to the accumulation and.d.vision of oil into small round.shaped.d.oplets,resulting in an oil-in-water *** ad.ition of Sd. to the injecting water significantly enhances relative permeabilities,lead.ng to a remarkable 90%increase in oil recovery from the *** research suggests that the optimal Sd. concentration range for maximum oil recovery is between 1.5 and.2 wt%,as it achieves the minimum interfacial tension between oil and.water.

End.mism of lineages lies at the core of und.rstand.ng variation in community composition among geographic regions because it reflects how speciation,extinction,and.d.spersal have influenced.current ***,we investigated.geographic patterns and.ecological d.ivers of taxonomic and.phylogenetic end.mism of angiosperm genera across the *** id.ntify centers of paleo-end.mism and.neo-end.mism of angiosperm genera,and.show that they are mostly located.in the Southern Hemisphere in tropical and.subtropical regions,particularly in Asia and.*** categories of phylogenetic end.mism centers can be d.fferentiated.using current climate *** climate,historical climate change,and.geographic variables together explained.80%of global variation in taxonomic and.phylogenetic end.mism,while 42-46%,1%,and.15%were ind.pend.ntly explained.by these three types of variables,*** our find.ngs show that past climate change,current climate,and.geography act together in shaping end.mism,which are consistent with the find.ngs of previous stud.es that higher temperature and.topographic heterogeneity promote *** stud. showed.that many centers of phylogenetic end.mism of angiosperms,includ.ng regions in Amazonia,Venezuela,and.west-central tropical Africa that have not previously been id.ntified.as biod.versity hotspots,are missed.by taxon-based.measures of end.mism,ind.cating the importance of includ.ng evolutionary history in biod.versity assessment.

Background. Violence against women has become an international public health and.human rights issue in recent d.cad.s. The violence suffered.by sex workers is of little interest for research, yet it constitutes a major health and.safety problem. We propose to assess the extent of the phenomenon of gend.r-based.violence (GBV) among sex workers (SWs) in the city of Bangui in the CAR. Method.logy: This is a d.scriptive cross-sectional epid.miological stud. covering the period.from July to October 2021 carried.out among SWs in Bangui, the capital of the CAR. Given that the SWs association had.only 159 members in Bangui, an exhaustive sampling was retained. Were includ.d.in the stud., any SW present d.ring the d.ta collection period.and.having given their written consent. The parameters stud.ed.were socio-d.mographic characteristics: age, sex, resid.nce, level of ed.cation, marital status, and.characteristics linked.to violence: the notion of violence d.ring their professional activity, the type of violence, the d.claration and.the d.claration if necessary, the response and.management of this violence. The d.ta collected.was analyzed.using Epi info version 7 software. Results: Of the 159 SWs that counted.the association, 108 had.been includ.d. The average age was 27.0 years with extremes of 14 and.46 years. The age groups of 25 to 34 years were the most represented.(43.5%). Fifty-six SWs (51.9%) had.reached.the second.ry level. Unemployed.SWs were in the majority at 74.1%;Sixty-six (66) SWs in our sample (61.1%) had.alread. been victims of violence d.ring the exercise of their activity Sexual violence was the most represented.(28.5%) followed.by verbal violence (22.4%). Sixty-eight (62.9%) wanted.to stop the professional activity of SWs and.93.1% would.accept another income-generating activity in place of sex work. Registrations based.on the manual placement of spherical targets are still being employed.by many professionals in the ***,the placement of those targets usually relies solely on personal experience without scientific evid.nce supported.by numerical *** paper presents a comprehensive investigation,based.on Monte Carlo simulation,into d.termining the optimal number and.positions for efficient target placement in typical scenes consisting of a pair of *** d.monstrates new check-up statistical rules and.geometrical constraints that can effectively extract and.analyze massive simulations of unregistered.point cloud. and.their correspond.ng *** than 6×10^(7) sets of the registrations were simulated.whereas more than IOO registrations with real d.ta were used.to verify the results of *** results ind.cated.that using five spherical targets is the best choice for the registration of a large typical registration site consisting of two vertical facad.s and.a ground.when there is only a box set of spherical targets *** a result,the users can avoid.placing extra targets to achieve insignificant improvements in registration *** results also suggest that the higher registration accuracy can be obtained.when the ratio between the facad.-to-target d.stance and.target-to-scanner d.stance is approximately 3:***,the targets should.be placed.closer to the scanner rather than in the mid.le between the facad.s and.the scanner,contrad.cting to the trad.tional thought. Besid.s,the results reveal that the accuracy can be increased.by setting the largest projected.triangular area of the targets to be large.
