Natural parasites in conjunction with behavioral and color traits explain male agonistic behaviors in a lizard

A Family of GCK-MOdY, About 02 Cases and Review of the Literature

Positive diagnosis of diabetes is currently easy, but typing diagnosis of diabetes still remains a challenge for every clinician. It is currently accepted that types of diabetes apart from T1d and T2d can expand and include several forms of diabetes mellitus;From gestational diabetes, to all forms of secondary diabetes mellitus due to medications, intercurrent disease but also infections, and finally monogenic diabetes, whose diagnosis is not always easy to establish. The aim is to reveal the difficulties that clinicians may face in the process of etiological diagnosis regarding the suspicion of this type of monogenic diabetes, through the study of 2 cases, in which MOdY type diabetes was suspected. Today we recognize 17 different genetic mutations that can all lead to MOdY diabetes, the most common mutation of which is GCK coding for the glucokinase, the real sensor of pancreatic Beta-cell. The truly stable glycemic profile, with an A1C ranging between 7% and 7.5%, confirmed with a TIR always above 70% and a good MAGE, but also the rarity of degenerative complications and pharmacological therapeutic abstention which can last for years, these would be the most striking clinical characteristics of a GCK MOdY.

differential variable speed limits to improve performance and safety of car-truck mixed traffic on freeways

This study develops a differential variable speed limit(dVSL)which assigns different speed limits for car and truck,and varies speed limits based on traffic *** proposed dVSL algorithm changes speed limits in real time based on truck percentage and occupancy immediately upstream of the ramp and the average speed of the control road sections upstream of the *** algorithm also considers spatial coordination of speeds,which gradually changes the speed limits in successive road sections upstream of the ramp when the severe congestion *** study tested the impacts of dVSL and three other speed limit strategies on delay and safety for a section of the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto,Canada using the VISSIM traffic simulation *** other strategies are 1)uniform speed limit(USL),2)differential speed limit for car and truck(dSL),and 3)USL&dSL(U&d)-i.e.,USL at low truck percentage and dSL at high truck *** was found that dVSL showed the lowest delays for both car and truck among the four *** is mainly because dVSL increased the spacing between vehicles in the right lane upstream of the on-ramp and facilitated vehicles’merging into the mainline *** was also found that dVSL showed the lowest likelihood of rear-end crash between the lead and following vehicles among the four *** study demonstrates that the proposed dVSL algorithm can better control car and truck speeds to reduce delay and improve safety of car-truck mixed traffic flow on freeways.

The main goal of this study was to design a pneumatic cylindrical-type metering device with six-rows for wheat precision and to analyze its output under different rotating speeds and vacuum pressure *** effect of the pressure,rotating speed and rows on seed suction,retention and dropping was shown *** levels of rotating speed(5,10,15,20,25 and 30 r/min.)combined with the applying of different vacuum pressures(1.8,2.1,2.4,2.7,3.0,and 3.3 kPa)were inspected to detect the optimum pressure which was adequate for seed sucking at each *** addition,to predict the vacuum pressure corresponding with each rotating speed,a regression model was *** on seed mass analysis,statistical differences under the influence of velocities and negative pressure were found at 5 percent significance according to duncan’s Test,whereas the differences were existed between and within *** revealed that the highest seed mass means of 19.02 g and 22.64 g were obtained by row1while the lowest means of 18.02 g and 21.49 g were attained by row6 under the effect of the speed and vacuum pressure,*** noticeable variation between row1 and row 6,particularly under high speeds(25 and 30 r/min),might be returned to the truth that row 1 was closer to vacuum inlet,and row 6 was the farthest *** concluded that the multiple-row pneumatic cylinder with oblong shape seed nozzle was found to be capable for single seed picking with a small rows variation but without seed damage.

Thermomechanical Analysis of (Cu_(0.5)Tl_(0.5))-1223 Substituted by Pr and La

The thermomechanical analysis （TMA） of Cu0.5T10.5Ba2Ca2-xRxCu30110-δ, where R=Pr and La, with 0.0〈x〈0.15, was carried out in temperature range from 450 to 1145 K. The samples were prepared by singlestep solid state reaction technique. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRd） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The superconductivity of the prepared samples was investigated by electrical resistivity measurement. The results showed that low substitution content enhanced the （Cu0.5Tlo.5）- 1223 phase formation, while the higher substitution content degraded this phase. The higher superconducting transition temperatures Tc were found to be 114 K and 109 K at x= 0.025 for Pr- and La-substitutions, respectively. The average linear thermal expansion coefficient increased as x increased, while the shrinkage temperature decreased as x increased. Those results were emphasized by porosity and Vickers microhardness calculations. debye temperature 0d was calculated from the linear thermal expansion coefficient data and correlated to Tc to estimate the electron-phonon coupling λep.

Agricultural projects in different parts of the world depend on underground water ***,there have been many unfortunate incidents inwhich children have died in abandoned *** topographical information for these wells is a prerequisite to protecting people from the dangers of falling into them,especially since most of these wells become buried over *** solutions have been developed recently,most with the aimof exploring these well ***,these systems suffer fromseveral limitations,including high complexity,large size,or *** paper focuses on the development of a smart exploration unit that is able to investigate underground well areas,build a 3d map,search for persons and animals,and determine the levels of oxygen and other *** exploration unit has been implemented and validated through several experiments using various experiment *** results proved the efficiency of the developed exploration unit,in terms of 3d modeling,searching,communication,and measuring the level of *** average accuracy of the 3d modeling function is approximately 95.5%.A benchmark has been presented for comparing our results with related works,and the comparison has proven the contributions and novelty of the proposed system’s results.

Image encryption has attracted much interest as a robust security solution for preventing unauthorized access to critical image *** picture encryption is a crucial step in many cloud-based and healthcare *** this study,a strong cryptosystem based on a 2d chaotic map and Jigsaw transformation is presented for the encryption of medical photos in private Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)and cloud storage.A disorganized three-dimensional map is the foundation of the proposed *** dispersion of pixel values and the permutation of their places in this map are accomplished using a nonlinear encoding *** suggested cryptosystem enhances the security of the delivered medical images by performing many *** validate the efficiency of the recommended cryptosystem,various medical image kinds are used,each with its unique *** measures are used to evaluate the proposed cryptosystem,which all support its robust *** simulation results confirm the supplied cryptosystem’s ***,it provides strong robustness and suggested protection standards for cloud service applications,healthcare,and *** is seen that the proposed 3d chaotic cryptosystem obtains an average entropy of 7.9998,which is near its most excellent value of 8,and a typical NPCR value of 99.62%,which is also near its extreme value of 99.60%.Moreover,the recommended cryptosystem outperforms conventional security systems across the test assessment criteria.

Automated COVId-19 detection Based on Single-Image Super-Resolution and CNN Models
