Poly-β-(1,6)-N-acetylglucosamine (PNAG), the chief mediator of intercellular adhesion in many bacteria, plays an important role in biofilm formation. The pgaABCd locus was recognized from the whole genome sequence of A. junii SH205. The enzyme glycosyltransferase, PgaC, catalyzes the production of PNAG with N-acetyl-d-glucosamine monomer. In this study, the possibility of PNAG biosynthesis in A. junii SH205 with its own PgaC was explored with the aid of bioinformatics. Multiple alignments of PgaC sequences of different bacteria were used to identify conserved amino acid residues that might be critical for the functioning of the protein. Three-dimensional model of A. junii SH205 PgaC was generated for spatial visualization of amino acid residues. The analyses have shown that the protein PgaC has five conserved amino acids, Asp140, Asp233, Gln269, Arg272 and Trp273, critical for the activity of enzyme. Interaction of UdP-N-acetylglucosamine within the conserved pocket of glycosyltransferase was explored from molecular docking studies.

＜正＞Model systems play an important role in the fundamental research of colloid *** the past decades,a monodisperse rod-like virus-fd has been used as an anisotropic colloid *** virus has a length of 880 nm and a diameter of 8.8 *** to its nanorod-like nature,this virus has also been harnessed as templates for nanomaterials.1 In this *** present the synthesis and selected macroscopic properties of a new model system consisting of poly（N-isopropylacrylamide）（PNIPAM）-coated rod-like fd virus particles.2 The sticky rod-like colloids can be used to study effect of particle shape on gelation transition,the structure and viscoelasticity of isotropic and nematic gels,and to make both open isotropic as well as ordered nematic particle *** model system of rod-like colloids,for which the strength of attraction between the particles is tunable,is obtained by chemically grafting rod-like fd virus particles with thermoresponsive polymers,*** room temperature,suspensions of the resulting hybrid PNIPAM-fd are fluid sols which are in isotropic or liquid crystalline phases,depending on the particle concentration and ionic *** heating/cooling,the suspensions change reversibly between sol and gel state near a critical temperature of 32℃.close to the lower critical solution temperature of free PNIPA *** so-called nematic gel,which exhibits a cholesteric feature,can therefore be easily *** gelation behavior of PNIPAM-fd system and the structure of the nematic gel have been characterized by rheology,optical microscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering.

Objective: Waiting to look young is not a new idea;the search for effective treatments prolonging youthfulness has been going on over many decades. Many scientific evidences have been suggestive of intensive or prolonged mind and body therapies (MBT) improving overall wellness and have anti-aging effects. However, the genetic basis of MBT-induced anti-aging and youthfulness are largely unknown. It is also known that aging adversely affects hematopoiesis in human through controlling compromised hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMNC’s). In this paper, we focus on evaluating changes in the expression levels of a critical panel of genes that regulates aging in PBMNC’s isolated from participants from MBT program. design: Here, we have investigated the effects of a short intensive MBT program on aging related gene expression changes in the peripheral blood stem cells using affymetrix dNA microarray platform. A total of 108 people selected form many ethnicities were enrolled in the study;38 men and 70 women (aged 18 - 90) randomly assigned for the study. PBMNC’s were collected from the volunteers before and after the completion of the MBT program and evaluated for meditation by examining gene expression patterns in peripheral blood stem cells. Results: Critical pathways known to regulate aging process such as pro-inflammatory TNF alpha/NF-kB, IL-12 signaling pathway, hypoxic HIF-1-alpha, key regulator of programmed cell death, C-MYC, and P38 MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinase) signaling pathway found to be dysregulated in the cohorts compared to subjects prior to MBT program. Furthermore, GATA-2 and Bmi1, key regulators of hemtopoiesis and adult stem cells numbers, went up in the mediated group. Executing customer analysis in a systemic way is one of the possible solutions for each enterprise to understand the behavior of consumer patterns in an efﬁcient and in-depth *** investigation of customer patterns helps theﬁrm to develop efﬁcient decisions and in turn,helps to optimize the enter-prise’s business and maximizes consumer satisfaction *** con-duct an effective assessment about the customers,Naive Bayes(also called Simple Bayes),a machine learning model is ***,the efﬁcacious of the simple Bayes model is utterly relying on the consumer data used,and the existence of uncertain and redundant attributes in the consumer data enables the simple Bayes model to attain the worst prediction in consumer data because of its presumption regarding the attributes ***,in practice,the NB pre-mise is not true in consumer data,and the analysis of these redundant attributes enables simple Bayes model to get poor prediction *** this work,an ensem-ble attribute selection methodology is performed to overcome the problem with consumer data and to pick a steady uncorrelated attribute set to model with the NB classiﬁ*** ensemble variable selection,two different strategies are applied:one is based upon data perturbation(or homogeneous ensemble,same feature selector is applied to a different subsamples derived from the same learning set)and the other one is based upon function perturbation(or heterogeneous ensemble different feature selector is utilized to the same learning set).Further-more,the feature set captured from both ensemble strategies is applied to NB indi-vidually and the outcome obtained is ***,the experimental outcomes show that the proposed ensemble strategies perform efﬁciently in choosing a steady attribute set and increasing NB classiﬁcation performance efﬁciently.

The efficient citral hydrogenation was achieved in aqueous media using Pd/CMS and alkali additives like K2CO3. The alkali concentrations, reaction temperature and the Pd metal content were optimized to enhance the citral hydrogenation under aqueous media. In the absence of alkali, citral hydrogenation was low and addition of alkali promoted to ~92% hydrogenation without reduction in the selectivity to citronellal. The alkali addition appears to be altered the palladium sites. The pore size distribution reveals that the pore size of these catalysts is in the range of 0.96 to 0.7 nm. The palladium active sites are also quite uniform based on the TPR data. The catalytic parameters are correlated well with the activity data.

Segmentation Based Real Time Anomaly detection and Tracking Model for Pedestrian Walkways

＜正＞Background:5’-Nucleotidases play a critical role in nucleotide pool balance and the metabolism of nucleoside analogs such as gemcitabine and cytosine arabinoside（AraC）.Previously study performed an expression array association study with gemcitabine and AraC cytotoxicity using 288 human lymphoblastoid cell lines. One gene that was significantly associated with gemcitabine cytotoxicity was a nucleotidase family member,NT5C2L1. 目的:利用核磁共振磁敏感加权成像(susceptibility weighted imaging,SWI)技术分析脑梗死患者的大脑髓质静脉不对称征与脑梗死严重程度的相关性,为临床急性脑梗死诊断、治疗提供影像参考。方法:将2018年12月至2019年12月,内蒙古民族大学附属医院收治的急性缺血性脑卒中患者纳入本研究,其中共收录86例急性大脑中动脉(MCA)卒中患者的磁敏感加权成像。将两侧大脑半球分别采用0(无可见dMV)到3(非常显著dMV)的评分系统进行评测,同侧和对侧之间的得分差异被定义为不对称(AMV+)。AMV+的发生与美国国立卫生研究院卒中量表(NIHSS)的入院和出院评分以及改良Rankin量表(mRS)的出院评分相关。采用序贯回归分析评价NIHSS和mRS对脑卒中严重程度的预测作用。结果:55例患者显示不对称征(AMV+组),31例患者未显示不对称征(AMV-组)。AMV+组入院时 NIHSS 中位数为 17(11-21),AMV-组为 9(5-15)(p=0.001)。出院时,AMV+患者NIHSS中位数为11(5-20),AMV患者NIHSS中位数为5(2-14)(p=0.005)。AMV+组出院时 mRS 中位数为 4(3-5),AMV-组为 3(1-4)(p=0.001)。AMV+获得高于 AMV-的 mRS 的优势比为 3.19(95%CI:1.24-8.21)(p=0.016)。结论:dMV在SWI上的不对称表现,与脑梗死的严重程度有很强的相关性,可作为急性缺血性脑卒中患者的一个重要影像学指标。

人和动物的基因组有很大部分由各种内源性病毒组成,它们快速复制和突变,并呈现出时间和空间的变化性,导致或者不导致疾病。但是人类对于其组成、复杂性和动态变化了解不足。迄今为止,高通量基因组学、转录组学和蛋白质组学研究对病毒组-微生物组-人类行为三者之间的相互作用有了一些重要的发现,结果表明其相互作用极大地影响着人体的生理和内稳态。大量的内源性病毒为宿主提供了益处,也带来不良的免疫调节和继发感染。很多寄宿于人体的病毒来源于哺乳动物和鸟类的跨物种传播,这种传播往往导致致死性高的流行病。理解病毒分类以及病毒蛋白质组中负责与宿主病毒组相互作用的元素和因子会帮助我们制订应对未来病毒爆发的策略。本文对病毒宏基因组学研究中与人类健康和疾病相关的一些关键内容进行了综述。

Human Activity Recognition(HAR)has been made simple in recent years,thanks to recent advancements made in Artiﬁcial Intelligence(AI)*** techniques are applied in several areas like security,surveillance,healthcare,human-robot interaction,and *** wearable sensor-based HAR system includes in-built sensors,human activities can be categorized based on sensor ***,it can also be employed in other applications such as gait diagnosis,observation of children/adult’s cognitive nature,stroke-patient hospital direction,Epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease examination,***-developed Artiﬁcial Intelligence(AI)techniques,especially deep Learning(dL)models can be deployed to accomplish effective outcomes on HAR *** this motivation,the current research paper focuses on designing Intelligent Hyperparameter Tuned deep Learning-based HAR(IHPTdL-HAR)technique in healthcare *** proposed IHPTdL-HAR technique aims at recogniz-ing the human actions in healthcare environment and helps the patients in mana-ging their healthcare *** addition,the presented model makes use of Hierarchical Clustering(HC)-based outlier detection technique to remove the ***-HAR technique incorporates dL-based deep Belief Network(dBN)model to recognize the activities of ***,Harris Hawks Opti-mization(HHO)algorithm is used for hyperparameter tuning of dBN ***,a comprehensive experimental analysis was conducted upon benchmark dataset and the results were examined under different *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed IHPTdL-HAR technique is a superior per-former compared to other recent techniques under different measures.
