Novel barium tungstate/nitrogen-d.ped.red.ced.graphene oxid.-graphi- tic carbon nitrid. （BaWO4/NRGO-g-C3N4） nanocomposite has been synthesized.by a simple one-pot microwave technique. The synthesized.nanocomposites are well characterized.by d.ffraction, microscopic and.spectroscopic techniques to stud. its crystal structure, elemental composition, morphological features and.optical properties. The material prepared.is tested.for its performance as an electrocatalyst, photocatalyst and.red.ction catalyst. The nanocomposite catalyzed.the photod.grad.tion of methylene blue （MB） d.e in 120 min, red.ction of 4-nitro phenol （4-NP） to 4-amino phenol （4-AP） in 60 s, showed.an impressive Tafel slope of 62 mV/d.c for hyd.ogen evolution reaction （HER）. The observed.results suggest that the nanocomposite acts as an efficient multifunctional catalyst. The reported.approach provid.s fund.mental insights which can be extend.d.to other metal tungstate-based.ternary composites for applications in the field.of clean energy and.environment in the future.

We report a green and.facile approach for the synthesis of NiFe2O4(NF)nanoparticles with good.*** prepared.materials are stud.ed.by various techniques in ord.r to know their phase structure,crystallinity,morphology and.elemental *** BET analysis revealed.a high surface area of 80.0 m^2·g^-1 for NF possessing a high pore volume of 0.54 cm^3·g^-1,also contributing to the amelioration of the electrochemical *** NF sample is stud.ed.for its application in supercapacitors in an aqueous 2 mol·L^-1 KOH *** properties are stud.ed.both in the three-electrod. method.and.in a symmetrical supercapacitor *** show a high specific capacitance of 478.0 F·g^-1 from the CV curve at an applied.scan rate of 5 mV·s^-1 and.368.0 F·g^-1 from the GCd.analysis at a current d.nsity of 1A·g^-1 for the NF ***,the material exhibited.an 88%retention of its specific capacitance after continuous 10000 cycles at a higher applied.current d.nsity of8 A·g^-*** encouraging properties of NF nanoparticles suggest the practical applicability in high-performance supercapacitors.

Rice husk ash （RHA） is one of the ind.strial waste byprod.ct available abund.ntly in the world. In the present work, an attempt is mad. to incorporate the RHA particles in the molten aluminum A356,2 alloy. The RHA particles were ad.ed.into the matrix melt by creating a vortex with the help of a mechanical stirrer and.the melt temperature was maintained.between 800 and.850 ℃. d.y slid.ng wear experiments were performed.in a pin on d.sc wear equipment against a chromium steel d.sc at 30 ℃. Scanning electron microscopy is used.to stud. the wear characteristics of the unreinforced.AI alloy and.the A356.2/RHA composites. Tin tellurid.(SnTe)overwhelmingly continues to be stud.ed.owing to its promising thermoelectric properties,tunable electronic structure,and.its potential as an alternate to toxic lead.tellurid.(PbTe)based.*** this research,we engineer the electronic properties of SnTe by co-d.ping Mn and.Bi below their ind.vid.al solubility *** First principles d.nsity functio nal theory stud.es reveal that both Bi and.Mn introd.ce resonance states,thereby increasing the d.nsity of states near the Fermi level lead.ng to enhanced.Seebeck *** unique combination of using two resonant d.pants to introd.ce flatter band. is effective in achieving higher performance at lower tempe ratures manifesting into a large Seebeck value of~91μV/K at room temperature in the present *** elements optimally co-d.ped.results in a very high power factor value of~24.3μW/cmK^(2) at 773 K when compared.to other high performance SnTe based.materials.A zT of~0.93 at 773 K is achieved.by tuning the proportion of the co-d.pants Mn and.Bi in *** hard.ess value of pristine SnTe was also seen to increase after *** a result,synergistic optimized.d.ping proves to be a suitable means for obtaining thermoelectric materials of superior characteristics without the need.for heavy d.ping.

In the present work, attempts have been mad. to extend.the use of the tribological and.chemical properties of rutile-TiO2 to metallic alloy systems, by forming a rutile coating on the metallic substrates. Two metallic alloys were selected.in this stud., includ.ng AISI316L austenitic stainless steel and.aluminium alloy. The rutile-based.coatings were fabricated.by magnetron sputter d.position of a pure titanium coating first, and.then thermal oxid.tion of the coated.specimens to partially convert the titanium coating to rutile oxid. and.to promote interfacial reactions which can significantly enhance the coating-substrate ad.esion strength. The structures and.properties of the coating-substrate systems were characterized.by a variety of analytical and.experimental techniques, includ.ng X-ray d.ffraction, glow d.scharge spectrometry, high resolution SEM, nanoind.ntation, microscratch, friction and.wear testing, as well as electrochemical testing. The results show that the friction and.wear properties, as well as the corrosion resistance of the metallic alloys can be significant enhanced.by surface engineering with rutile-TiO2.

The problem of stead. rotation of a composite sphere located.at the centre of a spherical container has been investigated. A composite particle referred.to in this paper is a spherical solid.core covered.with a permeable spherical shell. The Brinkman＇s mod.l for the flow insid. the compos- ite sphere and.the Stokes equation for the flow in the spheri- cal container were used.to stud. the motion. The torque ex- perienced.by the porous spherical particle in the presence of cavity is obtained. The wall correction factor is calculated. In the limiting cases, the analytical solution d.scribing the torque for a porous sphere and.for a solid.sphere in an un- bound.d.med.um are obtained.from the present analysis.

This research work is the novel state-of-the-art technology performed.on multi-cylind.r SI engine fueled.compressed.natural gas,emulsified.fuel,and.hyd.ogen as d.al *** work pred.cts the overall features of performance,combustion,and.exhaust emissions of ind.vid.al fuels based.on AVL Boost simulation *** types of alternative fuels have been compared.and.*** results show that hyd.ogen prod.ces 20%more brake power than CNG and.25%more power than micro-emulsion fuel at 1500 r/min,which further increases the brake power of hyd.ogen,CNG,and.micro-emulsions in the range of 25%,20%,and.15%at higher engine speed. of 2500-4000 r/min,*** ad.ition,the brake-specific fuel consumption is the lowest for 100%hyd.ogen,followed.by CNG 100%and.then micro-emulsions at 1500 r/*** 2500-5000 r/min,there is a significant d.op in brake-specific fuel consumption d.e to a lean mixture at higher engine *** CO,HC,and.NOx emissions significantly improve for hyd.ogen,CNG,and.micro-emulsion *** fuel shows zero CO and.HC emissions and.is the main objective of this research to prod.ce 0%carbon-based.emissions with a slight increase in NOx emissions,and.CNG shows 30%lower CO emissions than micro-emulsions and.21.5%less hyd.ocarbon emissions than micro-emulsion fuel at stoichiometric air/fuel ratio.

Environmentally benign one-pot protocol is used.in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles （AgNPs） in powd.r form, involving the red.ction of silver nitrate in the presence of fully hyd.olyzed.polyvinyl alcohol （PVA） as stabilizer by hyd.ogen （H2） as red.cing agent in aqueous med.um. Fully hyd.olyzed.biod.grad.ble PVA has extremely low cytotoxicity, making it a favorable stabilizer from green perspective. In the present method.logy, essentially naked.silver nanoparticles are obtained.in good.yield. The prepared.sil- ver nanoparticles were characterized.by TEM, XRd. Ed.X, UV-Vis spectroscopy and.d.S histogram, and.stud.ed.for its activity as a recyclable catalyst for synthesis of d.fferent enaminones.
