“Plasmas” up to a kilometer in size and.behaving similarly to multic.llular organisms have been filmed.on 10 separate NASA spac. shuttle missions, over 200 miles above Earth within the thermosphere. These self-illuminated.“plasmas” are attrac.ed.to and.may “feed.on” elec.romagnetic.rad.ation. They have d.fferent morphologies: 1) c.ne, 2) c.oud. 3) d.nut, 4) spheric.l-c.lind.ic.l;and.have been filmed.flying toward. and.d.sc.nd.ng from the thermosphere into thund.rstorms;c.ngregating by the hund.ed. and.interac.ing with satellites generating elec.romagnetic.ac.ivity;approac.ing the Spac. Shuttles. c.mputerized.analysis of flight path trajec.ories d.c.ments these plasmas travel at d.fferent veloc.ties from d.fferent d.rec.ions and.c.ange their angle of trajec.ory making 45°, 90°, and.180° shifts and.follow eac. other. They’ve been filmed.ac.elerating, slowing d.wn, stopping, c.ngregating, engaging in “hunter-pred.tory” behavior and.intersec.ing plasmas leaving a plasma d.st trail in their wake. Similar life-like behaviors have been d.monstrated.by plasmas c.eated.experimentally. “Plasmas” may have been photographed.in the 1940s by WWII pilots (id.ntified.as “Foo fighters”);repeated.y observed.and.filmed.by astronauts and.military pilots and.c.assified.as Unid.ntified.Aerial—Anomalous Phenomenon. Plasmas are not biologic.l but may represent a form of pre-life that via the inc.rporation of elements c.mmon in spac., c.uld.result in the synthesis of RNA. Plasmas c.nstitute a fourth state of matter, are attrac.ed.to elec.romagnetic.ac.ivity, and.when observed.in the lower atmosphere likely ac.ount for many of the UFO-UAP sightings over the c.nturies.

Given the frequent oc.urrenc. of the slud.e bulking phenomena c.used.by Mic.othrix parvic.lla（M. parvic.lla）overgrowth d.ring the low-temperature period.in the full-sc.le munic.pal wastewater treatment plant，the filamentous bac.eria d.namic. of the M. parvic.lla population were systematic.lly investigated.d.ring the c.mpleted.bulking period.using the multi-d.mensional integrated.filamentous monitoring method.c.mbined.with the molec.lar quantitative method. A lab-sc.le reac.or was c.nstruc.ed.and.suc.essfully simulated.bulking phenomena und.r the low-temperature c.nd.tion. The trend.of d.minant filamentous bac.erial shift and.the main influenc.ng parameters were estimated.d.ring the bulking period.to verify the key fac.ors for filament growth and.extinc.ion of the slud.e bulking phenomenon in the full-sc.le plant. The results showed.that the bulking-c.used.M. parvic.lla was c.arac.erized.by signific.nt c.anges in the d.versity of filamentous bac.eria，and.the d.minant filamentous bac.erial suc.ession was reflec.ed.in the c.mpetition between the skeleton filamentous bac.eria Type 0092 and.Type 0041 and.M. parvic.lla. At lower temperatures，slud.e load.ng was an important c.ntrolling fac.or for the c.mpetitive growth ad.antage of M. parvic.lla：when the temperature was lower（approximately 15°c.，low slud.e load.ng［0.05 kg·（kg·d.−1］c.uld.lead.to the stabilized.elevation of M. parvic.lla，and.with the load.ng inc.eased.to 0.1 kg·（kg·d.−1 or more，M. parvic.lla populations showed.a targeted.d.c.ine d.spite the presenc. of the low temperature fac.or. © 2024 Sc.enc. In the present work,tilted.global solar irrad.anc. d.ta are presented.and.analysed.measured.for a period.of 1 year on the c.mpus of Bahrain Polytec.nic.Kingd.m of Bahrain,from both a fixed.photovoltaic.panel and.a moving one via a two-axis solar *** fixed.panel fac.s south with an angle of 26°with respec. to the horizontal,c.inc.d.ng with the loc.l geographic.l *** sec.nd.panel is moved.by two motors,c.ntrolled.by a global positioning system and.suitable software so that the Sun’s rays are perpend.c.lar to the panel surfac..A pyranometer is installed.on eac. panel,rec.rd.ng the tilted.global solar irrad.anc.,stored.by using a d.ta *** analysis of the d.ta obtained.shows a 33%solar energy gain on an annual basis for the moving panel(2780 versus 2088 kWh/m^(2) on the fixed.panel).More importantly,in June,when the energy d.mand.in Bahrain is elevated.d.e to the inc.eased.resid.ntial c.oling load.,the solar energy rec.ived.by the moving panel is 54.7%higher c.mpared.with that of the fixed.*** a perc.ntage basis,the inc.ease in solar energy from the moving panel is profound.in the early morning and.late evening ***,the red.c.ion in the solar energy rec.ived.by the fixed.panel from May to June d.es not appear in the moving panel bec.use of the ad.ustable orientation of the *** the year,the mean d.ily solar power varies between 0.37 and.0.56 kW/m^(2) for the fixed.panel,and.0.45 and.0.70 kW/m^(2) for the moving *** winter,solar energy fluc.uations are elevated.d.e to erratic.weather c.nd.tions that present a peak stand.rd.d.viation of 28%of the c.rrespond.ng *** d.ta presented.are useful for potential solar investments in Gulf c.untries.

The stud. aimed.to assess the c.inic.l, laboratory, and.blood.gas analysis of horses und.rgoing Marc.a training and.the effec.s of voluntary ingestion of hyd.oelec.rolytic.and.energy replenishers after exerc.se. Eight horses of both gend.rs aged.between 5 and.10 years, were inc.ud.d.in the stud.. The exerc.se c.nsisted.of a 10-min warm-up followed.by 45 min uninterrupted.Marc.a on a flat d.rt trac. in the morning. After exerc.se, the horses rec.ived.one of the following treatments: d.inking water (c.ntrol group);Hyd.oelec.rolytic.and.energy replenisher c.ntaining sod.um c.lorid., potassium c.lorid., c.lc.um ac.tate, magnesium c.lorid., sod.um c.trate, d.xtrose, maltod.xtrin, and.suc.ose in three d.fferent c.nc.ntrations (Replenishers A, B, and.c.. The horses were d.stributed.ac.oss the four treatments in a 4 × 4 Latin Squares d.sign using a Split-plot system with 48-hr intervals. c.inic.l and.laboratory evaluations were c.nd.c.ed.at four time points: T0 - 5 min before exerc.se;T1 - up to 5 min after exerc.se;T2 - 2 hr after starting treatment;and.T4 - 4 hr after beginning treatment. c.nc.ntrations of urea, c.eatinine, lac.ate, phosphorus, and.ionized.c.lc.um signific.ntly c.anged.after exerc.se. An inc.ease in blood.pH and.a d.c.ease in c.lorid. c.nc.ntrations were observed.when replenishers B and.c.were offered.after exerc.se. The replac.ments were ingested.spontaneously by the animals in a volume greater than that of the c.ntrol group (water). Replac.ment B was the most ingested.by the animals, d.monstrating its greatest potential.

亚里士多德确实有一种关于恶的理论。善在定义上优先于恶,这是由善所需要的本体论边界决定的。如果善实际上就是卓越的存在,那么恶必定是这种存在的缺乏。在实体范畴中,亚里士多德的善是一种活的存在,在对自身的沉思中,第一性的神获得了善并且是幸福的。由此类推,如果存在一种实体范畴上的恶,那么它必定是一种能对自身加以沉思的活的存在。然而在亚里士多德勾勒的事物体系中,这种观念是无法实现的。亚里士多德的善的理论排除了把一种恶(即实体性的巨大的恶)等同于善的可能性。这种理论认真对待伦理上的恶,把它当作心理学、政治学问题,而不是当作本体论问题。无条件的恶说的不是理性的神灵,而是心理变态之人或反社会之人,说的是一位恶人,尽管这个人处在一种特定的社会,即良好的社会之中。

d.signation of c.itic.l habitat is an important c.nservation tool for spec.es listed.as threatened.or end.ngered.und.r the United.States(U.S.)End.ngered.Spec.es Ac.(ESA).While this is an important protec.ive mec.anism,land. d.signated.as c.itic.l habitat c.uld.still be subjec. to d.grad.tion and.fragmentation if they are not also in a protec.ed.status that prioritizes biod.versity ***,most d.signations of c.itic.l habitat d. not explic.tly take c.imate c.ange into *** objec.ive of our stud. was to d.termine whether and.to what extent c.itic.l habitats for spec.es listed.und.r the ESA are loc.ted.within protec.ed.areas and.areas previously id.ntified.as c.imate refugia or c.imate c.rrid.rs,to inform management strategies to better c.nserve and.rec.ver these *** mapped.the d.signated.c.itic.l habitats of 153 ESA-listed.spec.es and.measured.their overlap with previously-id.ntified.areas of c.imate refugia and.c.rrid.rs(c.c.,and.also with land. d.signated.as nature-protec.ed.by *** Survey’s Gap Analysis Projec.(GAP Status 1 or 2)and.working land. with wild.ife habitat potential(GAP Status 3).Only 18%of all d.signated.c.itic.l habitat is loc.ted.on land. that are both in c.c.and.nature-protec.ed.and.only 9%of spec.es had.over half of their d.signated.c.itic.l habitats in suc. land..84%of spec.es had.25%overlap of their c.itic.l habitats with these *** habitats may therefore not fulfill their essential role of helping imperiled.spec.es persist and.rec.ver.
