目的:探讨胎盘组织中ZNF331mRNA及其蛋白表达在早发型重度子痫前期发病中的作用。方法:采用RTPCR、Western blot方法检测50例正常晚期妊娠者和20例早发型重度子痫前期、28例晚发型重度子痫前期患者胎盘组织中ZNF331及其蛋白的表达水平。结果:正常晚期妊娠组胎盘组织中ZNF331mRNA表达量为1.08±0.16,早发型重度子痫前期组为1.91±0.31,晚发型组为1.13±0.27。其中早发型重度组ZNF331的表达显著高于晚发型组和正常组,而晚发型组与正常组无统计学差异(P>0.05)。ZNF331蛋白在早发型重度子痫前期患者胎盘组织中的表达量为(59.00±5.32)μg/100μg总蛋白,显著高于晚发型重度子痫前期患者和正常妊娠孕妇,晚发型组与正常妊娠组无明显差异。ZNF331mRNA及其蛋白表达与新生儿体重呈显著负相关(r=-0.798,P=0.000;r=-0.874,P=0.000)。随着新生儿体重的降低,ZNF331表达水平显著升高(P<0.05)。结论:早发型重度子痫前期患者胎盘组织ZNF331及其蛋白表达明显高于晚发型组和正常晚期妊娠组,提示其异常表达可能是早发型重度子痫前期的发病原因,可能与滋养细胞浸润能力下降有关,并且与新生儿体重及预后密切相关。

Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium are the most known genera of the therapeutic niche of organisms that have developed various defense mechanisms through their antioxidative activity which help mitigate the abnormality caused by reactive oxygen species to cell ***,for these probiotic organisms to exert their beneficial effects,the need to enhance functionality and protect bacterial cells in the gastrointestinal tract requires an efficient method for a better selection of favorable fermentation conditions with a sufficient yield of desired property or *** we reported the potential and antioxidant activities of isolated probiotic strains,with a considerable viable cell count between 10^(8) and 10^(9) CFU/mL,as the pH of both fermented millet substrate decreased from 6.13 to 3.62 at 35℃ within 14 h using a statistical optimization *** identified strains Pediococcus pentosaceus RZ01 and Lacticaseibacillus paracasei RZ02 alongside the refer-ence strain had an overall gastrointestinal tolerance of 60%under simulated conditions,with Pediococcus pentosaceus RZ01 showing the highest bile salt survival rate(123.07%).Lactobacillus paracasei RZ02 indicates a high hydrophobicity potential(86.48%),suggesting a better adhesion ability to the gastrointestinal ***,Pediococcus pentosaceus RZ01 and Lactobacillus paracasei RZ02 fermented substrate had 39.69 and 44.51%of 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)radical scavenging activity,with the release of bioactive compounds of health *** provide important references for formulating novel probiotic fermented cereal product,understanding of probiotic-prebiotic relationship,as well as pave way for biotechnological application of identified and related probiotics.

Yeasts are one of the predominant microbial groups in fermented *** this study,yeast communities of Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)were investigated and the technological properties of 73 yeast isolates were *** culture-dependent and high-throughput sequencing methods,the main yeast species identified included Pichia membranifaciens,Kazachstania bulderi,Millerozyma farinosa,Candida zeylanoides,Kazachstania exigua,Candida parapsilosis and Saccharomyces *** these yeasts,***,***,*** and *** were detected in fermented meats for the first time.A total of 73 yeast isolates was investigated for their lipolytic and proteolytic *** yeast species showed lipolytic activity,while proteolytic activity against meat protein was only detected in *** of aroma-producing potential was performed in a model simulating fermented sausage *** of yeast strains increased volatiles production,especially esters and *** highest ester production was observed in *** Y70 strain,followed by *** Y12 and *** *** Y10 and *** Y70 were the highest producers of benzeneethanol and *** Y70 with its highest production of branched alcohols and esters could be a promising candidate as aroma enhancer in the manufacture of fermented sausages.

Impact of social isolation and resident intruder stress on aggressive behavior in the male rat

Stress studies frequently utilize physical stressors to establish animal models of stress. In the majority of cases, these models are not consistent with human circumstances. The present study simulated a social isolation plus resident intruder stress model in the rat. The rats were subjected to daily social isolation and resident intruder stress for 2 weeks. Behaviors were then tested. Rats subjected to social stress exhibited different aggressive behavior styles; some rats had greater scores on composite aggression behaviors, as well as locomotor and exploratory activity, but lower scores on latency than others. The high-aggressive group exhibited predominantly anger-out, while the low-aggressive group exhibited anger-in. Results suggest that social isolation plus resident intruder may serve as an appropriate model for anger-in and anger-out emotion modeling in the rat.

Since 1998,Preventive Oncology International,Inc.(POI)has been at the forefront of studying human papillomavirus(HPV)self-collection for cervical cancer screening,with a significant focus in *** multiple clinical trials over the past 25 years,POI has explored various aspects related to self-collection *** 2004–2006,POI established that self-collection could be equivalent to direct endocervical ***,a large randomized trial involving 10,000 patients in 2010 further confirmed that self-collected vaginal specimens,tested for high-risk HPV(hrHPV)using a PCR-based assay with high analytic sensitivity,could effectively replace endocervical specimens with minimal loss of sensitivity and a slight decrease in *** the years,POI's research has encompassed several crucial topics,including patient acceptance,the development of new cost-effective,simpler,and faster assays,exploring different collection devices,devising efficient methods of specimen transport,and implementing population-based screening *** findings strongly support the integration of self-collection methodologies into cervical cancer control programs worldwide,particularly in medically underserved *** HPV self-collection continues to evolve,ongoing research and innovations are expected to play a pivotal role in achieving the global mission of combating cervical cancer.

An investigation of corrosion-induced stress during SCC

TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope) observations show that corrosion process during stress corrosion cracking (SCC) enhances dislocation emission and motion; and microcrack of SCC initiates when the corrosion-enhanced dislocation emission and motion reaches a certain condition. The passive film or dealloyed layer formed during corrosion or SCC can induce a large tensile stress, which can assist the applied stress to enhance dislocation emission and motion, and then SCC occurs. Experiments show that the variation of SCC susceptibility of brass,α-Ti and stainless steel with the applied potential and pH value of the solution is consistent with that of the corrosion-induced additive stress. Molecular dynamics simulations show that a dealloyed layer can generate a tensile stress; and the corrosion (dealloyed layer)-induced tensile stress can assist the applied stress to enhance dislocation emission and crack propagation.

Large Disparity between Prevalence and Treatment Rates for Hepatitis C in Western China

Background and Aims:Recently,the World Health Organization adopted the first-ever global hepatitis strategy with the dream of eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat by ***,the epidemiology and treatment rates of hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection in Western China are still ***:A total of 111,916 adult individuals(15-96 years)who underwent the HCV-antibody(HCV-Ab)test in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University between 2013 and 2015 were included in this *** retrospectively analyzed the electronic medical records'data for each,and the positivity of HCV-Ab and the treatment of HCV RNA-positive patients were ***:During 2013-2015,the crude prevalence of HCVAb was 1.4%(95%CI:1.4-1.5;1,611/111,916)and the adjusted prevalence of HCV-Ab was 1.7%(95%CI:1.6-1.8),which was higher than in the 2006 national study(0.43%).The prevalence was 2-times higher in males than females(2.0%vs.1.1%,p<0.01).Notably,only 46%(434/951)of the HCV RNA-positive patients received standard peginterferon plus ribavirin treatment,with 370(82%)that completed treatment,of whom 272(74%)achieved sustained virologic response(SVR).Particularly,11%(32/292)of HCV RNA-positive patients were HBsAg-positive,and the SVR rate for them was lower than for the HBsAg-negative patients,but no significant difference was ***:HCV infection may have increased since 2006 in Western *** SVR rate of peg-interferon plus ribavirin treatment was high,but the proportion of untreated HCV patients was ***,more efforts need to be made by the government to create a scientific-based policy for HCV treatment and prevention.
