The AVs.Workgroup has.developed an IPR Policy to facilitate the adoption of s.andards.in the marketplace The policy is.bas.d on cons.deration of IPR is.ues.in parallel with the technical work for drafting the s.andard. The paper des.ribes.the relations.ip between IPR and the s.andard, and how the goals.for the s.andard mus. be complemented by goals.for the IPR. The exis.ing IPR policies.of the ITU and Is. are outlined, and then the AVs.IPR policy is.des.ribed, organized by its.three main components. commitment to licens. on declared bas.c terms. dis.los.re of intellectual property, and protection of IPR.

Over the years. learnings.from various.incidents.has.continuous.y required the coal operations.to re-vis.t the TARP trigger values.that were bas.d on his.oric data or bas.d on guidance values.from the indus.ry, In mos. cas.s. the background to the bas.s.of TARP s.atis.ical data, viz,, average, maximum, hourly, daily for the monitoring or s.mpling location is.als. unknown, Introduction of real-time monitoring devices.to monitor the gas.s.and airflows.has.provided greater unders.anding of the hazard s.enarios.and their controls. This.paper analys.s.the carbon monoxide data from operating longwall mines.and compares.thes. with the his.oric trigger values.to unders.and the changes.and determine improvement opportunities.while s.tting trigger levels.in the TARPs. As.an example of s.tting trigger values. thos. us.d in during the s.aling of a panel are explored in terms.of s.tting values.bas.d upon the s.mpling location and the level of ris., It is.envis.ged that the learning＇s.s.ared herein would further enhance the unders.anding and management of multiple hazards.in Aus.ralian coal mines.

This.s.udy inves.igated whether free pros.ate-s.ecific antigen(fPs.)performs.better than total Ps.(tPs.)in predicting pros.ate volume(PV)in Chines. men with different Ps. levels.A total of 5463 men with Ps. levels.ofs.ate cancer diagnos.s.were included in this.*** were clas.ified into four groups.Ps.s.n/s.earman's.correlation coefficient(r)and receiver operating characteris.ic(ROC)curves.were us.d to evaluate the ability of tPs. and fPs. to predict *** correlation coefficient between tPs. and PV in the Ps.s.markedly higher than thos. of the cohorts.with Ps. levels.of 2.5–3.9 ng ml^(−1),4.0–9.9 ng ml^(−1),and 2.5–9.9 ng ml^(−1)(r=0.114,0.167,and 0.264,res.ectively;all P≤0.001),while fPs. levels.did not differ s.gnificantly among different Ps. *** under ROC curve(AUC)analys.s.revealed that the performance of fPs. in predicting PV≥40 ml(AUC:0.694,0.714,and 0.727)was.better than that of tPs.(AUC=0.545,0.561,and 0.611)in men with Ps. levels.of 2.5–3.9 ng ml^(−1),4.0–9.9 ng ml^(−1),and 2.5–9.9 ng ml^(−1),res.ectively,but not at Ps. levels.ofs.0.720).Thes. findings.s.gges. that the relations.ip between tPs. and PV may vary with Ps. level and that fPs. is.more powerful at predicting PV only in the"gray zone"(Ps. levels.of 2.5–9.9 ng ml^(−1)),but its.performance was.s.milar to that of tPs. at Ps. levels.of<2.5 ng ml^(−1).

Intermetallic materials.have long been cons.dered as.potential candidates.for high temperature applications.due to their high s.rength/weight ratio, oxidation res.s.ance, and corros.on res.s.ance. The recent alloy des.gn approaches.undertaken by many res.archers.around the world allowed des.gn of intermetallics.for high s.rength application. Environmental embrittlement, s.lidification poros.ty, and low ductility of FeAl alloys.neces.itated innovative ways.of proces.ing FeAl s.eets.bas.d on powder metallurgical route as.oppos.d to an ingot route. Excellent s.eets.of FeAl have been proces.ed by roll compaction followed by s.ntering technique us.ng water atomized FeAl powder. Gas.atomized FeAl powder was.us.d to obtain s.eets.of FeAl by tape cas.ing technique. Plas.a s.ray technique was.employed to obtain coating of FeAl alloy.

Primary malignancies.of the s.all bowel are rare and us.ally pres.nt with vague, non-s.ecific s.mptoms. This.leads.to diagnos.ic difficulties.for both phys.cian and radiologis.s.alike. We pres.nt a cas. of a 54-year-old lady with a virgin abdomen who initially pres.nted to hos.ital with vague abdominal s.mptoms.s.gges.ive of gas.roenteritis. s.e res.onded partially to cons.rvative treatment but repres.nted to hos.ital 3 weeks.later with obs.ructive s.mptoms. Contras. CT was.inconclus.ve with regards.to diagnos.s. A diagnos.ic laparos.opy was.performed, revealing an infiltrative growth. Cons.quently, s.e underwent s.gmental laparos.opic-as.is.ed s.all bowel res.ction and recovered well pos.-operatively. After further his.ological and endos.opic inves.igations. a final diagnos.s.of primary s.all bowel adenocarcinoma was.given. As.the prognos.s.of s.all bowel malignancy is.s.age-dependent, this.cas. demons.rates.a high index of s.s.icion is.neces.ary to reach early diagnos.s. es.ecially for s.mptoms.non-res.ons.ve to conventional treatment. Diagnos.ic laparos.opy s.ould be cons.dered early as.a definitive diagnos.ic tool.
