Faultless authentication of individuals by fingerprints results in high false rejections rate for rigorously built systems. Indeed, the authors prefer that the system erroneously reject a pattern when it does not meet a number of predetermined correspondence criteria. In this work, after discussing existing techniques, we propose a new algorithm to reduce the false rejection rate during the authentication-using fingerprint. This algorithm extracts the minutiae of the fingerprint with their relative orientations and classifies them according to the different classes already established;then, make the correspondence between two templates by simple probabilities calculations from a deep neural network. The merging of these operations provides very promising results both on the NIST4 international data reference and on the SOCFing database.

In this paper, we propose MAMNID, a mobile agent-based model for networks incidents diagnosis. It is a load-balance and resistance to attack model, based on mobile agents to mitigate the weaknesses of centralized systems like that proposed by Mohamed Eid which consists in gathering data to diagnose from their collecting point and sending them back to the main station for analysis. The attack of the main station stops the system and the increase of the amount of information can equally be at the origin of bottlenecks or DDoS in the network. Our model is composed of m diagnostiquors, n sniffers and a multi-agent system (MAS) of diagnosis management of which the manager is elected in a cluster. It has enabled us not only to reduce the response time and the global system load by 1/m, but also make the system more tolerant to attacks targeting the diagnosis system.

In this paper we show that the MDA can be considered as a software industrialization pattern (or a software factory). Nearly all industries today are haunted with how to reduce costs, improve quality, faster time-to-market and to maximize profits. These challenges are particularly relevant to the software industry, because it still lags behind other technology sectors as regards industrialization and the timely delivery of software products. Most software are still of poor quality, always finished after deadlines (most don’t finish at all), and are very labour intensive. Here, we discuss the MDA as an approach that may help solving at the same time both problems of industrialization and ever-changing software infrastructures. We propose a MDA Engine based on a real case study in an IT services company. It is a proposal for a framework to create custom MDA tools, based on XMI, XSLT and the Visitor Pattern.

In this paper, we propose a cheap means for propagating mobile application using Bluetooth, a convenient short range wireless technology. Today, one of the main problems about mobile technology is about implementing automatically the software in the multiple and various type of phones devices, irrespective of the phone model (Nokia, Samsung, iPhone, etc.). There are many ways of doing OTA like by SMS. This approach allows providing an http download link by SMS but, we are limited by the maximum size one can have to build an application and send it trough this means. This approach is also expensive because data sources are expensive. Within the context of mobile social networking and proximity marketing, we come up with an original way of provisioning mobile applications using Bluetooth. We use anybody who is already a subscriber of an application to become an ambassador of it. The application is self-replicating and distributing in itself and sending back results. It ethically acts like a virus or a disease. A prototype is built to validate the proposed methodology.

The choice of methods or design languages is a crucial phase in the development of systems and software, also for real time and embedded systems. An open question that remains in the design of these types of systems is to build a method, or to choose one among those existing, capable to cover the life cycle of a project, and particularly the development phases. This article contributes to answer the question, by proposing an approach based on a multi-criteria comparative study, of few languages and methods dedicated to the design of real time and embedded systems. The underlying objective of this work is to present to designers a wide range of approaches, and elements that can guide their choices. In order to reach this goal, we propose different comparison criteria. Each criterion is divided into sub-criteria, so that the designers can refine their choices according to the qualities they prefer and wish to have in the method or language. We also define a rating scale which is used to assess the retained languages and methods. The scores obtained from this assessment are presented in tables, one table per criterion, followed by a summary table giving the overall scores. Graphics built from these tables are provided and intend to facilitate the judgement and thus the choice of the designers.
