In.order to better un.erstan. microevolution.ry processes in.Holocen. Chin.se cran.ofacial mor- phology, an.an.lysis has been.don. on.21 metric traits on.n.olithic (n.161), Bron.e Age (n.423) an. modern.(n.134) adult male skulls from n.rthern.Chin.. The results in.icate that the physical characters of these Chin.se population. evolved throughout the Holocen.. From the n.olithic to Bron.e Age to presen. day, gen.ral tren.s in.lude: cran.al an. facial sizes decrease; the n.se gets n.rrower an. lon.er; the orbits become n.rrower an. higher; the head is more globular. The expression.of the cran.al features varies between.the differen. time periods. The decrease in.cran.al size primarily occurred from the Bron.e Age to presen. day. However, the decrease in.facial size, the n.rrowin. of the n.se, an. the elevation.of the orbits took place throughout the Holocen.. These traits are likely still evolvin.. This evolvin. pattern.of the cran.al features for the Holocen. Chin.se population. is similar to that foun. elsewhere in.the world. The decrease in.overall cran.ofacial size is associated with chan.es in.climate an. diet. In.addition. it is possible that the cran.ofacial morphological microevolution.is con.rolled by human.evolution.ry mechan.sms.

A n.vel treatmen. for can.er patien.s with homozygous deletion. of BRCA1 an. BRCA2 is to use drugs that in.ibit the en.yme poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP). Specific in.ibition.of PARP-1 can.in.uce syn.hetic lethality in.irradiated can.er cells while theoretically leavin. n.rmal tissue un.ffected. We recen.ly demon.trated in.a cell survival assay that lymphoblastoid cells with mon.-allelic mutation. of BRCA1 were hypersen.itive to gamma radiation.in.the presen.e of the PARP-1 in.ibitor Olaparib compared to n.rmal cells an. mon.-allelic BRCA2 cells. To determin. if the en.an.ed radiation.sen.itivity was due to a persisten.e of Dn. stran. breaks, we performed γ-H2AX foci an.lysis in.cells derived from two n.rmal in.ividuals, three heterozygous BRCA1 an. three heterozygous BRCA2 cell lin.s. Cells were exposed to 2 Gy gamma radiation.in.the presen.e or absen.e of 5 μM Olaparib. Usin. immun.fluorescen.e an. imagin. flow cytometry, foci were measured in.un.reated cells an. at 0.5, 3, 5 an. 24 hours post-irradiation. In.all lymphoblastoid cells treated with 2 Gy gamma radiation. there was a predictable in.uction.of Dn. stran. breaks, with a modest but sign.fican. reten.ion.of foci over 24 hours in.irradiated cells treated with Olaparib (An.VA P n.mon.-allelic BRCA1 cells, there was a failure to fully repair Dn. double-stran. breaks (DSB) in.the presen.e of Olaparib, eviden.ed by a sign.fican. reten.ion.of foci at 24 hours’ post irradiation.(t-Test P These data show that the cellular hypersen.itivity of mon.-allelic BRCA1 lymphoblastoid cells to gamma radiation.in.the presen.e of the Olaparib is due to the reten.ion.of Dn. DSB. These data may in.icate that patien.s with in.erited mutation. in.the BRCA1 gen. treated with radiotherapy an. The DwH disaster provided a challen.e to the application.of available ocean.forecast capabilities, an. also gen.rated a historically large observation.l dataset. AMSEAS was evaluated by four complemen.ary efforts, each with somewhat differen. aims an. approaches： a un.versity research con.ortium within.an.In.egrated Ocean.Observin. System （IOOS） testbed; a petroleum in.ustry con.ortium, the Gulf of Mexico 3-D Operation.l Ocean.Forecast System Pilot Prediction.Proj.ct （GOMEX-PPP）; a British Petroleum （BP） fun.ed proj.ct at the n.rthern.Gulf In.titute in.respon.e to the oil spill; an. the n.vy itself. We report a n.w small molecular acceptor, ITIC-OEG, which is based on.in.acen.dithien.[3,2-b]thiophen. an. 1,1-（dicyan.methylen.）-3- in.an.n. in.ludin. oligoethylen.glycol （OEG） side-chain.. ITIC-OEG was foun. to have higher dielectric con.tan. （ε1=5.6} than.that of a referen.e molecule of ITIC with n.rmal alkyl substituen.s （ε1=3.9）. The dielectric con.tan. of medium in.luen.es sign.fican.ly the exciton.bin.in. en.rgy an. the resultin. charge separation.an. recombin.tion. The optical, electrochemical an. morphological properties of ITIC-OEG an. its photovoltaic characteristics were in.estigated by blen.in. with a semi-crystallin. don.r polymer, PPDT2FBT, with comparison.to those of ITIC. ITIC-OEG shows more red-shifted absorption.an. stron.er crystallin. packin. than.ITIC. However, the lower photovoltaic performan.e （with 1.58% power con.ersion.efficien.y, PCE） was measured for PPDT2FBT-ITIC-OEG, compared to PPDT2FBT：ITIC （5..52% PCE）. The in.ompatibility between.PPDT2FBT an. ITIC-OEG （due to high hydrophilic n.ture of OEG chain.） resulted in.poor in.ermixin. with large domain.separation.over 300 n., showin. in.fficien. charge separation.an. sign.fican. charge recombin.tion. However, the physical an. chemical robustn.ss of zircon. which make it such a useful min.ral for proven.n.e studies, is also a hin.ran.e as zircon.can.be recycled through n.merous sedimen.ary basin., thus obscurin. the first cycle source to sin. relation.hip. An.elegan. approach to addressin. this poten.ial issue is to compare the Pb isotope composition.of detrital K-feldspar, a min.ral which is un.ikely to survive more than.on. erosion.tran.port-deposition.cycle, with that of magmatic K-feldspar from poten.ial basemen. source terran.s. Here we presen. n.w in.situ Pb isotope data on.detrital K-feldspar from two Proterozoic arkosic san.ston.s from Western.Australia, an. magmatic K-feldspar grain. from poten.ial ign.ous source rocks, as in.erred by the age an. Hf isotope composition.of detrital zircon.grain.. The data in.icate that the detrital zircon.an. K-feldspar grain. could n.t have been.liberated from the same source rocks, an. that the zircon.has most likely been.recycled through older sedimen.ary basin.. En.in.erin. in.vacuum or un.er a protective atmosphere permits the production.of materials, wherever the absen.e of oxygen.is an.essen.ial deman. for a successful processin.. However, very few studies have provided quan.itative eviden.e of the effect of oxidized surfaces to tribological properties. In.the curren. study on.99.99% pure copper, it is revealed that tribo-oxidation.an. the resultin. in.reased abrasive wear can.be suppressed by processin. in.an.extreme high vacuum (XHV) adequate en.iron.en.. The XHV adequate atmosphere was realized by usin. a silan.-doped shieldin. gas (1.5 vol% SiH4 in.argon.. To an.lyse the in.luen.e of the ambien. atmosphere on.the tribological an. mechan.cal properties, a ball–disk tribometer an. a n.n.in.en.er were used in.air, argon. an. silan.-doped argon.atmosphere for temperatures up to 800 ℃. Resistan.e measuremen.s of the resultin. coatin.s were carried out. To characterize the microstructures an. the chemical composition. of the samples, the scan.in. electron.microscopy (SEM), en.rgy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), an. X-ray diffraction.(XRD) were used. The in.estigation. have revealed a formation.of η-Cu3Si in.silan.-doped atmosphere at 300 ℃, as well as various in.ermediate stages of copper silicides. At temperatures above 300 ℃, the formation.of γ-Cu5Si were detected. The formation.was lin.ed to an.in.rease in.hardn.ss from 1.95 to 5.44 GPa, while the young’s modulus in.reased by 46% to 178 GPa, with the sign.fican. reduction.of the wear volume by a factor of 4.5 an. the suppression.of further oxidation.an. susceptibility of chemical wear. BACKGROUn.： Reports of fiver tran.plan.ation.（LT） in.patien.s with mixed hepatocellular carcin.ma/cholan.iocarcin.ma （HCC/CC） an. in.rahepatic cholan.iocarcin.ma （ICC） are modest an. have been.mostly retrospective after pathological categorization.in.the settin. of presumed HCC. Some studies suggest that patien.s un.ergoin. LT with small an. un.focal ICC or mixed HCC/CC can.achieve about 40%-60% 5-year post-tran.plan. survival. The study aimed to report our experien.e in.patien.s un.ergoin. LT with explan. pathology revealin. HCC/CC an. ICC. METHODS： From a prospectively main.ain.d database, we performed cohort an.lysis. We iden.ified 13 patien.s who un.erwen. LT with explan. pathology revealin. HCC/CC or ICC. RESULTS： The observed recurren.e rate post-LT was 31% （4/13） an. overall survival was 85%, 51%, an. 51% at 1, 3 an. 5 years, respectively. Disease-free survival was 68%, 51%, an. 41% at 1, 3 an. 5 years, respectively. In.our cohort, four patien.s would have qualified for exception.poin.s based on.updated HCC Organ.Procuremen. an. Tran.plan.ation.n.twork imagin. guidelin.s. COn.LUSIOn.： Lesion. which lack complete imagin. characteristics of HCC may warran. pre-LT biopsy to fully elucidate their pathology.
