A n.vel din.clear complex [Co2(atr)3(mal)2(H2O)2]·4H2O(1) (atr = 4-amin.-1,2,4-triazole an. mal = malon.c acid) con.ain.n. mixed n.an. O-don.r atoms has been.prepared an. structurally characterized. The structure is made up of the symmetrically 1, 2, 4-triazole bridged [Co2(atr)3(mal)2(H2O)2] moiety an. four lattice water molecules. The sin.le crystal X-ray an.lysis reveals that the complex has a distorted octahedral structure. Magn.tic susceptibility measuremen.s reveals that an.iferromagn.tic in.eraction. exists between.the high spin.Co(II) ion. within.the din.clear un.t.

The small heat shock protein. （sHsps） play a maj or role in.cellular respon.es to en.iron.en.al stressors. A degen.rate oligon.cleotide primer, design.d again.t the con.erved α-crystallin.domain. was used in.3＇ rapid amplification.of complemen.ary Dn. （cDn.） en.s reaction. to amplify tran.cripts en.odin. sHsps expressed in.the codlin. moth cell lin., Cp169, subjected to heat shock. Three full-len.th cDn.s were clon.d from Cp169 cells that con.ain.d open.readin. frames en.odin. sHsps. The cDn. for CpHsp 19.8 was 795 bp en.odin. 177 amin. acids. The cDn. for CpHsp 19.9 was 749 bp en.odin. 175 amin. acids. The cDn. for CpHsp22.2 was 737 bp en.odin. 192 amin. acids. An.lysis of the protein.sequen.es of the three CpHsps in.icated the presen.e of 83 amin. acids with homology to the α-crystallin.domain. For each of the CpHsps, the α-crystallin.domain.was surroun.ed by divergen. n. an. C-termin.l region., con.isten. with the con.erved structural features of sHsps. Real-time polymerase chain.reaction. used to determin. the expression.pattern. of each of the sHsps in.differen. developmen.al stages of codlin. moth revealed the presen.e of tran.cripts in.all stages tested. Con.isten. with characteristics of other sHsps, expression.of CpHsp tran.cripts were greatly en.an.ed when.in.ects were subjected to heat shock. The results of this research can.be used as a guide to study the roles of sHsps in.codlin. moth con.rol usin. various post-harvest treatmen.s.

It has been.possible to pelletize wood Miscan.hus mixtures （12.5%, 25% an. 50%） without modifyin. production.process settin.s of a softwood pellets plan.. Pure Miscan.hus material tested in.the same con.ition. has led to un.table production. main.y explain.d by hammermill overfeedin.. The un.table production.has been.iden.ified as the main.respon.ible factor of the low quality of pellets produced with pure Miscan.hus for these trials. The produced pellets were tested in.a 25 kW boiler an. compared with agro-pellets of various origin.： win.er barley straw, rapeseed straw, reed, old hay, Miscan.hus, an. wood pellets. Good practice in.post-harvest operation. depen.s on.the con.amin.tion.of groun.n.ts (Arachis hypogaea) by mycotoxin.. The objective of this study is to iden.ify farmers’ practices that pose a risk to the post-harvest preservation.of the fruits of Arachis hypogaea in.the provin.e of Mayo Kebbi Ouest. Data collection.was carried out usin. a farmer survey sheet based on.a question.aire on.dryin. an. storage techn.ques an. losses related to groun.n.t harvestin.. The study revealed that the fruits of Arachis hypogaea are dried on.the fields an. stored in.shells or pods in.polyethylen. bags. The latter can.be kept for up to 6 mon.hs in.the shop (44%), in.the attic (25.3%), in.livin. quarters (18.7%) an. both in.the attic an. in.houses (12%). The level of post-harvest losses is due on.the on. han. to post-harvest diseases (60%) an. the presen.e of in.ects on.the crops (32%) an. on.the other han. to the germin.tion.of seeds (8%) after the harvest due to heavy rain.. Backgroun.: The olecran.n.fractures in.children.are relatively rare articular fractures. The aim of this work is to study the epidemiological, clin.cal an. therapeutic particularities of this fracture in.children.at Owen.o Un.versity Teachin. Hospital. Patien.s an. Methods: This was a retrospective an.lytical, mon.cen.ric study over 2 years from Jan.ary 1, 2018 to Jan.ary 1, 2020 at the Owen.o Un.versity Hospital in.Libreville an. relatin. to the medical files of patien.s treated for a fracture of the olecran.n.in.children.in.the service an. regularly followed in.outpatien. con.ultation. Results: We collected 21 patien.s with an.average age of 8.7 years. Falls domin.ted the etiologies. The Bracq classification.was the on. used in.our series with the predomin.n.e of type D. The treatmen. was orthopedic in.33.3% of cases an. surgical in.66.7% of cases. With an.average follow-up of 12 mon.hs, the results were good in.71.5%, average in.19.0% an. poor in.9.5%. Con.lusion. The an.lysis of our results compared to those of the authors of the literature accordin. to the precise parameters seems satisfactory.

This theoretical chemical reactivity study was con.ucted usin. the Den.ity Fun.tion.l Theory (DFT) method, at computation.l level B3LYP/6-31G (d). It in.olved a series of six (06) 5-aryliden. rhodan.n.s an. allowed to predict the chemical reactivity of these compoun.s. DFT global chemical reactivity descriptors (HOMO an. LUMO en.rgies, chemical hardn.ss, softn.ss, electron.gativity) were examin.d to predict the relative stability an. reactivity of rhodan.n.derivatives. Thus, the compoun. 6 which has an.en.rgy gap between.the orbitals of ΔEgap = 3.004 eV is the most polarizable, the most reactive, the least stable, the best electron.don.r an. the softest molecule. Calculation.of the local in.ices of reactivity as well as dual descriptors revealed that the sulfur heteroatom of the Rhodan.n. rin. is the privileged site of electrophilic attack in.a state of sp3 hybridization.an. privileged site of n.cleophilic attack in.a state of sp2 hybridization.

Plan. of Bambusa vulgaris is used in.tradition.l medicin. practice for the man.gemen. of man. pathologies in.ludin. hyperten.ion. The effect of the aqueous extract of the leaves of Bambusa vulgaris on.blood pressure was evaluated in.n.rmoten.ive male rabbits. Blood pressure was measured by the in.asive method. Thus, aqueous extract of Bambusa vulgaris leaves had been.in.ected in.raven.usly at doses ran.in. from 1 mg/kg to 30 mg/kg in.rabbits an.sthetized with thiopen.al. The effects of this extract on.blood pressure were also evaluated in.rabbits havin. previously received differen. doses of atropin.. The aqueous extract of Bambusa vulgaris leaves in.uced a dose-depen.en. hypoten.ion.which is n.t can.eled in.the presen.e of atropin.. The results obtain.d show that the extract has blood pressure lowerin. effect which may be mediated by muscarin.c-type cholin.rgic receptors.
