BACKGROUND In the development of coronary stent technology,bioresorbable scaffolds are promising milestones in improving the clinical treatment of coronary artery ***“leave nothing behind”motto is the premise of the fourth revolution in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Studies proving the safety and efficacy of the magnesium-based resorbable scaffolds(MgBRSs)include the BIOSOLVE-I and BIOSOLVE-II trials and the latest BIOSOLVE-IV ***,spontaneous retrograde dissection of a partially absorbed MgBRS may still occur,albeit *** SUMMARY We describe an unusual case of coronary artery disease in a patient who had undergone a successful PCI 8 mo earlier,where an MgBRS was implanted into the left anterior descending artery(LAD)and left circumflex artery with drug-coated balloons for a ramus intermedius branch stenosis to achieve the“leave nothing behind”therapeutic intention and was currently presenting with a gradual worsening of chest *** distal edge vascular response,during subsequent attempts with balloon angioplasty was performed ***,spontaneous retrograde dissection of a partially absorbed MgBRS in the LAD *** bailout stenting was performed with revascularization of the entry and exit sites created by spontaneous dissection and complete sealing of the intramural *** patient recovered well and was discharged after 2 d of *** followed up in August 2020(7 mo later),the patient showed uneventful *** Spontaneous retrograde dissection of a partially absorbed MgBRS was successfully treated using bailout sirolimus-eluting coronary stent strategy.

＜正＞ Smooth Muscle Cells （SMCs） play an important role in the development of atherosclerosis and restenosis after angioplasty and coronary bypass grafting. （-） -Epigallocatechin-3-gallate （EGCG） has been shown to have antiproliferaliveactivity on SMCs through the inhibition of PDGFR activation. However,little attention has been paid on its effect on SMC *** the present study,the effect of EGCG on rat aortic SMC （A10 SMC） adhesion and migration was *** demonstrated that A10 SMC adhesion to collagen and laminin was inhibited by EGCG but not by （+）-catechin. Our results showed that EGCG not only binds directly to laminin but also affects SMC’s binding *** analysis showed that betal integrin expression on SMCs and SMC adhesion to immobilized integrin betal antibody were both reduced by EGCG treatment. In *** treatment also inhibited spontaneous and PDGF - induced SMC migration toward laminin. Taken together, we provided here the first evidence that EGCG can affect SMC adhesion and migration on laminin. possibly acting through binding to laminin and reducing the interaction between betal integrin and laminin.

Corrosion assessment for spent nuclear fuel disposal in crystalline rock,using variant cases of hydrogeological modeling

This paper presents a corrosion assessment of copper spent nuclear fuel disposal canisters in crystalline rock,using hydrogeological modeling.A simplified approach is considered,to avoid complex and time-consuming computer *** simplified case is presented as a base case,with changes in the hydrogeological parameters presented as variant *** results show that in Taiwan’s base case,decreasing the hydraulic conductivity of the rock or decreasing the hydraulic conductivity of dikes results in a shorter transport path for sulfide and an increase in corrosion ***,the estimated canister failure time is still over one million years in the variant cases.

On the Current Error Based Sampled-data Iterative Learning Control with Reduced Memory Capacity

The design of iterative learning controller(ILC) requires to store the system input, output or control parameters of previous trials for generating the input of the current trial. In order to apply the iterative learning controller for a real application and reduce the memory size for implementation, a current error based sampled-data proportional-derivative(PD) type iterative learning controller is proposed for control systems with initial resetting error, input disturbance and output measurement noise in this *** proposed iterative learning controller is simple and effective. The first contribution in this paper is to prove the learning error convergence via a rigorous technical analysis. It is shown that the learning error will converge to a residual set if a forgetting factor is introduced in the controller. All the theoretical results are also shown by computer simulations. The second main contribution is to realize the iterative learning controller by a digital circuit using a field programmable gate array(FPGA) chip applied to repetitive position tracking control of direct current(DC) motors. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed current error based sampleddata iterative learning controller are demonstrated by the experiment results. Finally, the relationship between learning performance and design parameters are also discussed extensively.

TEMPERATURE RESPONSIVE METHACRYLAMIDE POLYMERS WITH ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY

A new methacrylamide monomer, hexylamine methacrylamide （MAHA）, was synthesized and used in polymerizations. The homopolymer of MAHA and its copolymers were synthesized by free radical polymerization techniques with N-isopropyl acrylamide （NIPAAm） in two different compositions. The quatemization of the homopolymer and copolymers were carried out using 1-bromopropane. The copolymers with NIPAAm and a low MAHA content showed temperature-responsive behavior in an aqueous environment. The lower critical solution temperatures （LCSTs） of these polymers varied between 32℃ and 44℃. The LCSTs of quatemized copolymers were higher than those of neutral copolymers because they were more hydrophilic. The obtained homopolymers and copolymers were tested for antibacterial activities against S. aureus and E. coli. The quatemized water-soluble copolymers showed antibacterial activities against S. aureus. The quaternization resulted in the synthesis of both antibacterial and temperature-responsive copolymers.

Target genes discovery through copy number alteration analysis in human hepatocellular carcinoma

High-throughput short-read sequencing of exomes and whole cancer genomes in multiple human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cohorts confirmed previously identified frequently mutated somatic genes,such as TP53,CTNNB1 and AXIN1,and identified several novel genes with moderate mutation frequencies,including ARID1A,ARID2,MLL,MLL2,MLL3,MLL4,IRF2,ATM,CDKN2A,FGF19,PIK3CA,RPS6KA3,JAK1,KEAP1,NFE2L2,C16orf62,LEPR,RAC2,and *** classification of these mutated genes suggested that alterations in pathways participating in chromatin remodeling,Wnt/β-catenin signaling,JAK/STAT signaling,and oxidative stress play critical roles in HCC ***,because there are few druggable genes used in HCC therapy,the identification of new therapeutic targets through integrated genomic approaches remains an important *** a large amount of HCC genomic data genotyped by high density single nucleotide polymorphism arrays is deposited in the public domain,copy number alteration(CNA)analyses of these arrays is a cost-effective way to reveal target genes through profiling of recurrent and overlapping amplicons,homozygous deletions and potentially unbalanced chromosomal translocations accumulated during HCC ***,integration of CNAs with other high-throughput genomic data,such as aberrantly coding transcriptomes and non-coding gene expression in human HCC tissues and rodent HCC models,provides lines of evidence that can be used to facilitate the identification of novel HCC target genes with the potential of improving the survival of HCC patients.

Detecting Agro-Droughts in Southwest of china Using MODIS Satellite Data

The normalized difference vegetation index （NDVI） has proven to be typically employed to assess terrestrial vegetation conditions. However, one limitation of NDVI for drought monitoring is the apparent time lag between rainfall deficit and NDVI response. To better understand this relationship, time series NDVI （2000-2010） during the growing season in Sichuan Province and Chongqing City were analyzed. The vegetation condition index （VCI） was used to construct a new drought index, time-integrated vegetation condition index （TIVCI）, and was then compared with meteorological drought indices-standardized precipitation index （SPI）, a multiple-time scale meteorological-drought index based on precipitation, to examine the sensitivity on droughts. Our research findings indicate the followings：（1） farmland NDVI sensitivity to precipitation in study area has a time lag of 16-24 d, and it maximally responds to the temperature with a lag of about 16 d. （2） We applied the approach to Sichuan Province and Chongqing City for extreme drought monitoring in 2006 and 2003, and the results show that the monitoring results from TIVCI are closer to the published china agricultural statistical data than VCI. Compared to VCI, the best results from TIVCI3 were found with the relative errors of -4.5 and 6.36% in 2006 for drought affected area and drought disaster area respectively, and 5.11 and -5.95% in 2003. （3） Compared to VCI, TIVCI has better correlation with the SPI, which indicates the lag and cumulative effects of precipitation on vegetation. Our finding proved that TIVCI is an effective indicator of drought detection when the time lag effects between NDVI and climate factors are taken into consideration.
