UV/VUV switch-driven color-reversal effect for Tb-activated phosphors

The remarkable narrow-band emission of trivalent lanthanide-doped phosphors excited by the vacuum ultraviolet(VUV)radiation lines of Xe atoms/Xe_(2) molecules at 147/172 nm are extensively investigated in the development of plasma display panels and Hg-free fluorescent lamps,which are frequently used in our daily *** solid materials,particularly Tb^(3+)-doped oxides,such as silicates,phosphates and borates,are efficient green/blue sources with color-tunable *** excitation wavelength and rare earth concentration are usually varied to optimize efficiency and the luminescent ***,some underlying mechanisms for the shift in the emission colors remain *** present study shows that a UV/VUV switch systematically controls the change in the phosphor(Ba_(3)Si_(6)O_(12)N_(2):Tb)photoluminescence from green to blue,resulting in a green emission when the system is excited with UV ***,a blue color is observed when the radiation wavelength shifts to the VUV ***,a configurational coordinate model is proposed for the color-reversal *** this model,the dominant radiative decay results in a green emission under low-energy UV excitation from the ^(5)D_(4) state of the f–f inner-shell transition in the Tb ***,under high-energy VUV excitation,the state switches into the ^(5)D_(3) state,which exhibits a blue *** mechanism is expected to be generally applicable to Tb-doped phosphors and useful in adjusting the optical properties against well-known cross-relaxation processes by varying the ratio of the green/blue contributions.

Controlled synthesis of silver nanoplates and nanoparticles by reducing silver nitrate with hydroxylamine hydrochloride

An easy and effective method of silver nanoplate synthesis technique was created by reducing silver nitrate （AgNO3） with hydroxylamine hydrochloride （NH2OH·HCl） at room temperature. Silver nanoplates of various shapes, including triangular, truncated triangular, hexagonal, and truncated hexagonal, exhibit an average width and thickness of approximately 1 μm and 50 nm, respectively. Silver nanoparticles were acquired by placing polyvinyl pyrrolidone （PVP） in the reaction solution. The produced silver nanoparticles are quasi-spherical in shape and - 100 nm in size. The catalytic activity in the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate （AID） was distinguished by thermogravimetric （TG） analysis and differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）. The outcomes reveal that the addition of silver nanoplates and nanoparticles diminishes the low decomposition temperature of AP by 7 and 14 ℃ and leads to a drop in the high decomposition temperature of AP by 60 and 110 ℃ and a rise in the total DSC heat release by 0.86 and 1.05 kJ.g^-1, respectively.

In the present study,on the basis of the screened electrostatic effect of the Coulomb potential,we propose an improved Gamow model within the centrifugal potential in which there are only two adjustable parameters,i.e.,the screened parameters t and g,which represent the combined effect of the interaction potential and reduced mass of the emitted proton-daughter nucleus on the half-life of proton radioactivity in the overlapping *** this model,we systematically calculated the proton radioactivity half-lives of 31 spherical nuclei and 13 deformed nuclei and obtained corresponding root-mean-square deviations of 0.274 and 0.367,*** relationship between the proton radioactivity half-life of 177Tlm and the corresponding angular momentum l removed by the emitted proton is also *** addition,we used the proposed model to predict the proton radioactivity half-lives of 18 nuclei whose proton radioactivity is energetically allowed or observed but not yet quantified in *** comparison,we used the universal decay law of proton radioactivity proposed by Qi et al.(Phys Rev C 85:011303,***://***/10.1103/PhysR evC.85.011303),and the new Geiger–Nuttall law of proton radioactivity proposed by Chen et al.(Eur Phys J 55:214,***://***/10.1140/epja/i2019-12927-7).

Facile Syntheses of 3-Isopentenyl Flavone and 3-Geranyl Flavone

Although there was a strong steric effect,isopentenyl and geranyl moieties were successfully introduced into C3 position in flavone skeleton so as to synthesize the 3-isopentenyl flavone and 3-geranyl flavone under two cyclization conditions（AcOH/HCl and concentrated H 2 SO 4 /MeOH） in this *** was found that the optimum cyclization conditions for 3-isopentenyl flavone and 3-geranyl flavone were,respectively,AcOH/HCl and H 2 SO 4 /***,the donating electron ability is in the sequence 3-geranyl flavone3-isopentenyl flavone according to the density functional theory（DFT） calculations,suggesting the longer alkyl chain at 3-position would be more favorable for enhancing the donating electron *** present synthetic routes might reveal potential applicability in our continued studies on the total syntheses of other natural 3-alkyl flavonoids.

Stabilizing effects of atomic Ti doping on high-voltage high-nickel layered oxide cathode for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries

High-voltage high-nickel lithium layered oxide cathodes show great application prospects to meet the ever-increasing demand for further improvement of the energy density of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)mainly due to their high output ***,severe bulk structural degradation and undesired electrode-electrolyte interface reactions seriously endanger the cycle life and safety of the ***,2 mol%Ti atom is used as modified material doping into LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2O2)(NCM)to reform LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.18)Ti_(0.02)O_(2)(NCM-Ti)and address the long-standing inherent *** a high cut-off voltage of 4.5 V,NCM-Ti delivers a higher capacity retention ratio(91.8%vs.82.9%)after 150 cycles and a superior rate capacity(118 vs.105 mAh·g^(-1))at the high current density of 10 C than the pristine *** designed high-voltage full battery with graphite as anode and NCM-Ti as cathode also exhibits high energy density(240 Wh·kg^(-1))and excellent electrochemical *** superior electrochemical behavior can be attributed to the improved stability of the bulk structure and the electrode-electrolyte interface owing to the strong Ti-O bond and no unpaired *** in-situ X-ray diffraction analysis demonstrates that Ti-doping inhibits the undesired H2-H3 phase transition,minimizing the mechanical *** ex-situ TEM and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveal that Ti-doping suppresses the release of interfacial oxygen,reducing undesired interfacial *** work provides a valuable strategic guideline for the application of high-voltage high-nickel cathodes in LIBs.

Substantial increase of heat-induced labor and economic loss in China under rapid economic and environmental temperature growth

Exposure to heat stress causes diminished work performance and leads to economic *** the last two decades,China has experienced both rapid economic development and environmental warming;however,the spatiotemporal variations of association between environmental heat and labor loss have been rarely investigated behind this double ***,we evaluated the variation in China's heat-induced labor productivity loss and related economic cost from 2001 to 2019 and investigated the effect of economic development and regional *** found that decline in labor productivity because of heat stress increased significantly(p<0.05 for heavy-intensity work),and the corresponding economic loss also exhibited a drastic increase by 6-to *** relative economic loss showed a slight but nonsignificant increase with an average value of 0.54%of the annual total *** the sub-regional and sectoral level,adverse effects were more prominent in the southeast region,and the secondary industry sectors,such as construction and manufacturing,contributed to larger proportions of economic *** transformation of industrial structure made economic sectors more vulnerable to heat exposure,and increasingly preventive effects of air-conditioning use were noted on economic damage due to heat-induced productivity decline(36.0%relative economic benefits in 2019 compared to 9.7%in 2001).Our findings could provide a deep insight into heat burden on occupational health and heat adaptation strategies regionally under climate change,especially in developing areas with higher temperature and humidity environment.

Quantum walk search algorithm for multi-objective searching with iteration auto-controlling on hypercube

Shenvi et *** proposed a quantum algorithm based on quantum walking called Shenvi-Kempe-Whaley(SKW)algorithm,but this search algorithm can only search one target state and use a specific search target state ***,when there are more than two target nodes in the search space,the algorithm has certain *** though a multiobjective SKW search algorithm was proposed later,when the number of target nodes is more than two,the SKW search algorithm cannot be mapped to the same quotient *** addition,the calculation of the optimal target state depends on the number of target states *** previous studies,quantum computing and testing algorithms were used to solve this *** these solutions require more Oracle calls and cannot get a high accuracy ***,to solve the above problems,we improve the multi-target quantum walk search algorithm,and construct a controllable quantum walk search algorithm under the condition of unknown number of target *** dividing the Hilbert space into multiple subspaces,the accuracy of the search algorithm is improved from p_(c)=(1/2)-O(1/n)to p_(c)=1-O(1/n).And by adding detection gate phase,the algorithm can stop when the amplitude of the target state becomes the maximum for the first time,and the algorithm can always maintain the optimal number of iterations,so as to reduce the number of unnecessary iterations in the algorithm process and make the number of iterations reach t_(f)=(π/2)(?).

OBJECTIVE:To observe the intervention of chushizi(Fructus Broussonetiae)(CSZ)on drug-induced liver injury(DILI)in rats,as well as indicators of liver function,serum levels of inflammatory cytokines,and expression of proteins and m RNA associated with toll-like receptor 3(TLR3)and the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)pathway in the liver[TLR3,janus protein tyrosine kinase 2(JAK2),c-jun,c-fos,c-Jun N-terminal kinase 2(JNK2),and STAT3].METHODS:Forty specified pathogen free grade Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the control group,the model group,the silybin group and the CSZ *** were given acetaminophen(APAP)to trigger *** of the liver was observed by hematoxylin-eosin *** levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST),direct bilirubin(DBIL),and total bilirubin(TBIL)in serum were detected by a semi-automatic biochemical *** of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-13,and IL-22 in serum were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,the expression of TLR3,phosphorylation of JAK2(p-JAK2),while c-jun and c-fos proteins in the liver were determined by immunohistochemistry;expression of JNK2,and STAT3 in the liver were assayed by Western blot and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.P-JNK2 and p-STAT3 in the liver were assayed by Western ***:After treatment,the activity of ALT,AST,and concentrations of TBIL,DBIL,TNF-α,IL-6,as well as IL-13 in serum,were lower than those in the model group,and expression of p-JAK2,TLR3,c-jun,c-fos,p-STAT3,and p-JNK2 could be ***:Our findings suggest that CSZ is a valid medicine to alleviate APAP-induced DILI,while its partial mechanism may regulate the TLR3/JNK/c-jun/c-fos/JAK/STAT3 pathway.

The Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Two-dimensional Coordination Polymer {[Ni(phen)H_2O](μ_4-C_( 10)H_2O_8)_(1/2)}_n

The successful preparation of coordination polymers from modular precursorshas provided a facile approach to develope solids and functional materials. A popular strategy thatcould be employed in the area is the adoption of bridging lig-ands such as cyanide, bi-pyridine,benzenetri-carboxylate, etc. In this context, multi-connecting carboxylates are at presentespecially interesting because they exhibit rich coordination chemistry by coordinating to metalions and have been proved to be a treasury in the design of desired topologies. Althoughbenzenetetracarboxylate ligand is also an excellent bridging reagent, attempts to preparemetal-organic polymeric or supramolecular structures based on this ligand are now rather ***, we have devoted our efforts to assemble new coordination polymers based on this ligand andtransitional metal ions, and obtained a series of novel complexes. We report here the synthesis andstructural characterization of a new compound {[Ni(phen)H_2O] ·(μ_4-C_(10)H_2O_8)_(1/2)}_n(1)exhibiting two-dimensional benzene-tetracarboxylate-Ni (Ⅱ) polymeric layers in the structure.
