Boosting aqueous nickel-zinc battery stability with bimetallic ion-integrated 1D metal-organic nanowires

Limited by low conductivity,designing cathode materials with excellent electron transfer efficiency for high-performance nickel-zinc batteries （NZBs） remains *** this study,a series of bimetallic metal-organic nanowires were fabricated by doping M ions in NiNTA,resulting in NiMNTA (M=Mg2+,Mn2+,Co2+,Zn2+,Ag+),and NixCo6-xNTA （x=1,2,3,4,5）.The proportions and types of metal ions can be modified without altering the initial coordination structure.X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy （XAFS） revealed that only M–O bonds,not metal bonds,were present in the *** performance of Ni2Co4NTA as the cathode for aqueous NZBs was significantly improved,achieving the maximum energy density of 279.17Wh kg-1with the high cycle stability （retention rate of 72.0%after 1,000 cycles）.The flexible Ni2Co4NTA//Zn@carbon cloth battery employing gel electrolyte also exhibits the excellent Coulombic efficiency of 96%after 350 *** approach shows considerable potential for designing one-dimensional materials with bimetallic modifications,providing new strategies for developing cathode materials for NZBs with high specific capacity and cycle stability.

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury（HIRI） is characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. Monitoring mitochondrial hydrogen peroxide（mtH2O2） levels in real-time through super-resolution imaging is crucial for elucidating its distribution in live cells and its mechanism of action during HIRI. However, low-background fluorogenic probes have been overlooked in the context of super-resolution imaging. In this study, we developed a low-background fluorogenic probe（MitoWG） with the potential for super-resolution morphology-correlated mitochondrial identification to track the fluctuates of mtH2O2in HIRI. Activation of the desirable fluorescence properties of the probe by mtH2O2was confirmed using structural illumination microscopy（SIM）, enabling high-quality mitochondrial imaging with exceptional specificity and *** in mtH2O2levels were successfully observed in both cellular and rat models of HIRI. Furthermore, we associated the decline in mitochondrial redox homeostasis with accelerated mtH2O2production during HIRI, which triggered mitophagy deficiency and led to cell death. In conclusion, Mito-WG possesses excellent photophysical and low-background properties for SIM imaging, making it a promising tool for mtH2O2tracking in HIRI research and clinical diagnosis.

Gradient magnetic heterointerfaces have injected infinite vitality in optimizing impedance matching,adjusting dielectric/magnetic resonance and promoting electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption,but still exist a significant challenging in regulating local phase ***,accordion-shaped Co/Co_(3)O_(4)@N-doped carbon nanosheets(Co/Co_(3)O_(4)@NC)with gradient magnetic heterointerfaces have been fabricated via the cooperative high-temperature carbonization and lowtemperature oxidation *** results indicate that the surface epitaxial growth of crystal Co_(3)O_(4) domains on local Co nanoparticles realizes the adjustment of magnetic-heteroatomic components,which are beneficial for optimizing impedance matching and interfacial ***,gradient magnetic heterointerfaces simultaneously realize magnetic coupling,and long-range magnetic ***,the synthesized Co/Co_(3)O_(4)@NC absorbents display the strong electromagnetic wave attenuation capability of−53.5 dB at a thickness of 3.0 mm with an effective absorption bandwidth of 5.36 GHz,both are superior to those of single magnetic domains embedded in carbon *** design concept provides us an inspiration in optimizing interfacial polarization,regulating magnetic coupling and promoting electromagnetic wave absorption.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis, a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes. A fungal metabolon, comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe G, is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide B. Using notoamide E as a substance, Spe F/Spe G metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation, followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium unit. Subsequently,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol rearrangement. This provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.

Evaluation of the therapeutic significance of Glehniae Radix polysaccharides on the ulcerative colitis through DSS-induced rat model

Glehniae Radix has a wide range of pharmaceutical applications， and research on its main components has mainly focused on coumarins， alkaloids， lignans， and flavonoids， while neglecting the research on polysaccharides. Literature reports and our previous studies have shown that polysaccharides have certain therapeutic significance in immune regulation， antioxidant， anti-inflammatory and other aspects. Herein， the rat model of ulcerative colitis (UC) was established to evaluate the anti-inflammatory efficacy of the prepared Glehniae Radix polysaccharide (GLP) from the perspectives of inflammatory factors， intestinal tissue morphology， and microflora changes. The polysaccharides are mainly composed of galacturonic acid， rhamnose， glucose， galactose， and arabinose in molar ratios of 1.4:9.2:33.3:2.5:2.9， and GLP could downregulate the expression pro-inflammatory factors (interleukin-6， tumor necrosis factor-α， and interferon-γ) and significantly upregulate the expression of anti-inflammatory factor (interleukin-10). In addition， Glehniae Radix aqueous extract (GLA)， GLP with low dosage (GLPL) and GLP with high dosage (GLPH) could increase the number of goblet cells， enhance the integrity of crypt structure， and reverse the status of inflammatory infiltrating cells. Moreover， GLA and GLPH could upregulate Lactobacillus and Lachnoclostridium in UC rats， and appropriately downregulate Lachnospiraceae＿NK4A136＿group， thereby optimizing the proportion of bacterial flora and improving the intestinal microbial environment. Our findings not only be valuable as theoretical materials for the further clinical applications of GLP， but the identified biomarkers and metabolic pathways also provide new clues for the diagnosis of UC.

HfO2-based ferroelectric field-effect transistor （FeF ET） has become a promising solution for next-generation embedded non-volatile memory （NVM） owing to its complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor （CMOS） compatibility,small footprint, high performance, and non-destructive readout [1]. Recent research of HfO2-based FeF ET has focused on the device operation mechanisms as well as reliability issues such as the interplay between polarization switching and charge trapping/detrapping [2], read-after-write latency [3] and endurance degradation [4]. It has been demonstrated that endurance higher than 1010cycles with negligible read-after-write latency is possible if the gate stack of FeF ET is well engineered [5].

Aqueous zinc-halogen batteries are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to their abundant resources,intrinsic safety,and high theoretical ***,the uncontrollable zinc dendrite growth and spontaneous shuttle effect of active species have prohibited their practical ***,a double-layered protective film based on zinc-ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid(ZEA)artificial film and ZnF2-rich solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layer has been successfully fabricated on the zinc metal anode via electrode/electrolyte synergistic *** ZEA-based artificial film shows strong affinity for the ZnF2-rich SEI layer,therefore effectively suppressing the SEI breakage and facilitating the construction of double-layered protective film on the zinc metal *** double-layered architecture not only modulates Zn2+flux and suppresses the zinc dendrite growth,but also blocks the direct contact between the metal anode and electrolyte,thus mitigating the corrosion from the active *** employing optimized metal anodes and electrolytes,the as-developed zinc-(dual)halogen batteries present high areal capacity and satisfactory cycling *** work provides a new avenue for developing aqueous zinc-(dual)halogen batteries.

A Multi-stage Resilience Enhancement Strategy for Distribution Networks Considering Disaster Uncertainties and Scheduling Non-anticipativity

In recent years, typhoons and rainstorms have increasingly become the typical natural disasters that affect the safe and stable operation of distribution networks in coastal cities. To effectively cope with the influence of extreme disasters, a multi-stage resilience enhancement strategy is proposed for distribution networks, considering the spatiotemporal uncertainty of typhoon rainstorm disasters. Firstly, the disaster scenarios are simulated according to the historical data of typhoons, and the failure probability of distribution lines is calculated to construct an uncertainty set for the typhoon rainstorm disaster attack. On this basis, combined with the non-anticipativity characteristics of the power system scheduling process, a multi-stage robust optimization model based on the uncertainty set above is established. Secondly, a pre-extended robust dual dynamic programming algorithm is developed for solving. Then, the pre-disaster defense strategies and well-trained worst-case cost-to-go functions during disasters are obtained, which can solve the emergency response strategies for each period of extreme disasters. As a result, the optimal resilience enhancement strategies for distribution networks have been made in an organic combination of offline training and online application. Finally, the test systems for distribution networks with different scales are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and method. © 2025 Power System Technology Press.
