A high-scale integrated optical receiver including a preamplifier, a limiting amplifier, a clock and data recovery (CDR) block, and a 1:4 demultiplexer (DEMUX) has been realized in a 0.25 μm CMOS technology. Using the loop parameter optimization method and the low-jitter circuit design technique, the rms and peak-to-peak jitter of the recovered 625 MHz clock are 9.4 and 46.3 ps, respectively, which meet the jitter specifications stipulated in ITU-T recommendation G.958. In response to 2.5 Gb/s PRBS input data (2 23 1), the recovered and frequency divided 625 MHz clock has a phase noise of 83.8 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz offset and the 2.5 Gb/s PRBS data has been demultiplexed into four 625 Mb/s data. The power dissipation is only 0.3 w under a single 3.3 V supply (excluding output buffers).

Influence of Nd^(3+) concentration on mid-infrared emission in PbF_(2) crystal co-doped with Ho^(3+) and Nd^(3+) ions

A promising series of Ho_(y)Nd_(x)Pb_((1-x-y))F_2(x = 0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04;y = 0.02) crystals was grown by the Bridgman method. The influence of the Nd^(3+)ions concentration on mid-infrared(~2.0, ~2.9 and ~3.9 μm)fluorescence emissions of Ho^(3+)ions in the PbF_(2) crystal excited by 808 nm laser diode was investigated in this work. The energy transfer mechanism between Nd^(3+)ions and Ho~(3+)ions under different concentrations of the Nd^(3+)ions was systematically analyzed. The results show that the Nd^(3+)ions have good sensitization and deactivation effect on the Ho^(3+)ions to stimulate the mid-infrared fluorescence emissions. The experimental analysis proves that the sensitization efficiency of the Nd^(3+)ions is relatively stable at around 93.45% with varying Nd^(3+)-doping concentrations. Concentration dependence studies indicate that the concentration of the Nd^(3+)ions has significant influence on mid-infrared *** the doping concentration of the Nd^(3+)ions is up to 2.0 at%, the intensity of ~2.0, ~2.9 and ~3.9 μm emissions all reach the maximum. The output characteristics of a 3.9 μm laser are simulated, and it is found that with the increase of the Nd^(3+)-doping concentration, the peak power, pulse width, and peak energy all meet the trend of first increasing and then decreasing, and Ho_(0.02)Nd_(0.02)Pb_(0.96)F_(2) crystal displays the best performance. All the results show that the Nd^(3+)/Ho^(3+)co-doped PbF_(2) crystals might act as a useful optical medium for mid-infrared laser applications.

Privacy leakage is one of the most critical issues in machine learning and has attracted grow.ng interest for tasks such as demonstrating potential threats in model attacks and creating model *** recent years, numerous studies have revealed various privacy leakage risks(e.g., data reconstruction attack, membership inference attack, backdoor attack, and adversarial attack) and several targeted defense approaches(e.g., data denoising, differential privacy, and data encryption). However, existing solutions generally focus on model parameter levels to disclose(or repair) privacy threats during the model training and/or model interference process, which are rarely applied at the model architecture level. Thus, in this paper, we aim to exploit the potential privacy leakage at the model architecture level through a pioneer study on neural architecture search(NAS) paradigms which serves as a powerful tool to automate a neural network *** investigating the NAS procedure, we discover two attack threats in the model architecture level called the architectural dataset reconstruction attack and the architectural membership inference attack. Our theoretical analysis and experimental evaluation reveal that an attacker may leverage the output architecture of an ongoing NAS paradigm to reconstruct its original training set, or accurately infer the memberships of its training set simply from the model architecture. In this work, we also propose several defense approaches related to these model architecture attacks. we hope our work can highlight the need for greater attention to privacy protection in model architecture levels(e.g., NAS paradigms).

This paper presented a 12-channel parallel optical receiver front-end amplifier array design and realization in a low cost 0.18 μm CMOS *** channel incorporated a transimpedance amplifier and a limiting *** meet the challenge for the design of high gain front-end amplifier at date rate of up to 10 Gb/s,an optimized circuit topology was proposed and some bandwidth extension technologies were adopted,including regulated cascode,shunt peaking,and active negative *** the power consump-tion,crosstalk and noise,some corresponding solutions were presented such as applying isolation structure for parallel amplifier array,and optimization of noise and circuit parameters for 10 Gb/s *** on-wafer measurements revealed that this chip’s operation speed reached up to 10 Gb/s per channel,and 120 Gb/s with 12-channel in parallel *** a DC power of 853 mw from a 1.8 V supply voltage,the chip exhibits a conversion gain of up to 92.6 dBΩ,and a 3 dB bandwidth of 8 GHz,the output sw.ng and input sensitivity for a bit-error rate of 10 12 at 10 Gb/s are 310 mV and 10 mVpp,*** chip size is 1142 μm×3816 μm including on-wafer testing pads.

In this study,the double loaded Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF(NF:Ni foam)thin film catalysts were prepared for the first time via chemical deposition method at room *** optimizing the reducing agent concentration to 0.9 mol·L^(-1),the as-obtained Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF exhibited the twisted ribbon structure with more distinct three-dimensional hierarchy and the smaller particle size,show.ng the good catalytic property for the hydrolysis of NaBH_(4)*** H_(2)generation rate of Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF and binary Co-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF under visible light irradiation surpassed the value under natural *** apparent activation energy of Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF(45.0 kJ·mol^(-1))under visible light irradiation was obviously reduced when compared with the natural condition(48.4 kJ·mol^(-1))and binary Co-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF(60.6 kJ·mol^(-1))under visible light ***,the catalytic performance of the optimized Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF thin film catalyst was superior to most of the reported non-noble metal and even noble metal ***,it illustrated that the catalytic H_(2)production performance of Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF thin film was distinctly improved after the introduction of light and multicomponent recombination.

Rare-earth nickelates(RENiO_(3))show widely tunable metal-to-insulator transition(MIT)properties with ignorable variations in lattice constants and small latent heat across the critical temperature(TMIT).Particularly,it is worth noting that compared with the more commonly investigated vanadium oxides,the MIT of RENiO_(3)is less abrupt but usually across a wider range of *** sheds light on their alternative applications as negative temperature coefficient resistance(NTCR)thermistors with high sensitivity compared with the current NTCR thermistors,other than their expected use as critical temperature resistance *** this work,we demonstrate the NTCR thermistor functionality for using the adjustable MIT of Nd_(x)Sm_(1-x)NiO_(3)within 200–400 K,which displays larger magnitudes of NTCR(e.g.,more than 7%/K)that is unattainable in traditional NTCR thermistor *** temperature dependence of resistance(R–T)shows sharp variation during the MIT of Nd_(x)Sm_(1-x)NiO_(3)with no hysteresis via decreasing the Nd content(e.g.,x≤0.8),and such a R–T tendency can be linearized by introducing an optimum parallel *** sensitive range of temperature can be further extended to 210–360 K by combining a series of Nd_(x)Sm_(1-x)NiO_(3)with eight rare-earth co-occupation ratios as an array,with a high magnitude of NTCR(e.g.,7%–14%/K)covering the entire range of temperatures.

T-cell-based immunotherapy is gaining momentum in cancer treatment;however,our comprehension of the transcriptional regulation governing T cell antitumor activity remains *** objective of this study was to explore the function of interferon regulatory factor 4(Irf4)in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells using the TRAMP-C1 prostate cancer and B16F10 melanoma *** achieve this,we generated an Irf4^(GFP-DTR) mouse strain and discovered that CD8^(+)tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)expressing high levels of *** exhibited a more differentiated PD-1high cell *** administering diphtheria toxin to tumor-bearing Irf4^(GFP-DTR) mice,we partially depleted ***^(+)TILs and observed an accelerated tumor *** specifically explore the function of Irf4 in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells,we conducted 3 adoptive cell therapy(ACT)***,depleting ***^(+)CD8^(+)TILs derived from ACT significantly accelerated tumor growth,emphasizing their crucial role in controlling tumor ***,deleting the Irf4 gene in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells used for ACT led to a reduction in the frequency and effector differentiation of CD8^(+)TILs,completely abolishing the antitumor effects of ***,we performed a temporal deletion of the Irf4 gene in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells during ACT,starting from 20 days after tumor implantation,which significantly compromised tumor ***,sustained expression of Irf4 is essential for maintaining CD8^(+)T cell immunity in the melanoma model,and these findings carry noteworthy implications for the advancement of more potent immunotherapies for solid tumors.

Understanding the hydrate adhesion is important to tackling hydrate accretion in ***,the relationship between the Tetrahydrofuran(THF)hydrate adhesion strength(AS)and surface stiffness on elastic coatings is systemically examined by experimental shear force measurements and theoretical *** mechanical factor-elastic modulus of the coatings greatly dictates the hydrate AS,which is explained by the adhesion mechanics theory,beyond the usual factors such as wettability and structural ***,the hydrate AS increases with reducing the thickness of the elastic coatings,resulted from the decrease of the apparent surface elastic *** effect of critical thickness for the elastic materials with variable elastic modulus on the hydrate AS is also *** study provides deep perspectives on the regulation of the hydrate AS by the elastic modulus of elastic materials,which is of significance to design anti-hydrate surfaces for mitigation of hydrate accretion in petro-pipelines.
