The low signal-to-noise ratio(S/N)and single functionality of fluorescence imaging agents have limited their practical *** two-photon excitation(2PE)imaging probes are highly desirable in vivo with larger imaging depth,minor autofluorescence background,and less ***,we developed responsive aggregated gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)as high contrast 2PE imaging agents,capable of emitting red fluorescence upon excitation of near-infrared(NIR)laser and possessing a high signal-to-noise ratio(S/N of 2,475).By forming aggregates in situ inside tumor tissue,doxorubicin hydrochloride(DOX)-loaded mix-charged gold nanoparticles(DOX-MC-Au NPs)were utilized to act as selective fluorescence imaging probes and precise therapy *** high-contrast theranostic agents offer a promising potential for precise cancer imaging and therapy,which might open a new venue to multifunctional and noninvasive theranostics.

The burgeoning field of soft bioelectronics heralds a new dawn in medical treatment for neurological and psychiatric conditions,presenting innovative methods for the stimulation,inhibition,and precise sensing of neuronal *** to these advancements is the challenge of power supply;devices dependent on traditional batteries face limitations regarding miniaturization and require invasive surgeries for battery *** nanogenerators(TENGs),which generate power from biomechanical movements,offer a promising solution for developing self-powered neurostimulation devices without the need for an external power *** review delves into recent progress in TENGs,with a focus on their application in selfpowered neurostimulation *** utility of TENGs across various nervous systems—including the center,autonomic,and somatic nervous systems—is explored and presented,highlighting the potential for these devices to facilitate neurological *** summarizing TENGs’operational details and the potential for clinical translation,this review also identifies challenges associated with the implantation and integration of neural electrodes and presents recent advances in solutions,aiming to reshape electric treatments for neurological diseases.

Lysozyme(EC3.***.1.17)plays an important role in the immune response;as a nonspecific immune factor,it can resist causative *** can be divided into c-type and g-type in *** a previous study,through genome-wide association analysis,the g-type lysozyme gene,which is named NaLyg in yellow drum(Nibea albiflora),was found to be a key candidate gene for disease resistance in response to Vibrio harveyi *** cDNA of NaLyg was 1025 bp,including four exons and three introns,and its open reading frame(ORF)had a full-length of 582 bp,encoding 193 amino *** was found to be conserved during evolution through bioinformatic *** NaLyg protein possessed a sugar binding domain and three catalytic sites,including Glu71,Asp84 and *** qRT-PCR results confirmed that NaLyg gene mRNA was visibly increased after *** *** NaLyg protein purified by prokaryotic expression killed some gram-negative bacterial pathogens by inducing cell wall destruction,including ***,Aeromonas hydrophila and Edwardsiella ***,the NaLyg protein killed two gram-positive bacteria,Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus *** together,the experimental results suggested that the NaLyg protein of *** played an important role in fighting bacterial infections.

Nitrogen deposition is an important means of exogenous nitrogen input in reservoir *** activities around the reservoir lead to a sharp increase in the concentration of ammonia in the atmosphere,which poses a threat to the reservoir water *** the contribution of agricultural ammonia release to atmospheric NH_(x)(gaseous NH_(3)and particulate NH_(4)^(+)),in the reservoir area can provide a theoretical foundation for local reactive nitrogen *** collected atmospheric NH_(3)and NH_(4)^(+)samples during the agricultural periods and analyzed the isotopic characteristics of atmospheric NH_(x)and the contribution rates of different ammonia sources in the Xichuan area of the Danjiangkou *** results showed that the initialδ~(15)N values of NH_(3)(-30.0‰to–7.2‰)and particulate NH_(4)^(+)(–33‰to+4.9‰for finer and coarser particles,respectively)are different,and their contribution ratios from dissimilar ammonia sources are also different,among which NH_(4)^(+)is more susceptible to meteorological ***,since the atmospheric NH_(x)in the Xichuan area is mainly gaseous NH_(3),the final sources of atmospheric ammonia nitrogen source depend on gaseous NH_(3).Agricultural sources(59%-74%)were the main NH_(3)sources in this *** them,the fertilizer use emission was dominant;it had the highest contribution rate in summer during the agricultural period and a more prominent impact in areas with less human *** regulation of the application of high-ammonia releasing fertilizer,especially during the agricultural period in summer,is an effective way to reduce the threat of atmospheric ammonia to water health.

Hollow cathode,with the highest plasma density,current density,and temperature,becomes one of the most important components in the electro-thruster *** the electric-propulsion thruster performance is directly related to the ionization rate,reliability,and lifetime of the hollow cathode,this paper develops a global model to study the effects of discharge current,gas flow rate,and gas species on the discharge characteristics in the insert and orifice regions of the hollow *** emitter wall temperatures of hollow cathodes predicted by the global model are compared with experimental results from NSTAR thruster neutralization cathodes,confirming the model's *** influence of hollow cathode emitter material and structure sizes on the plasma parameters in the internal regions was also *** simulation results show that there is an optimal matching relationship between the discharge current and gas flow rate to guarantee the maximum ionization *** optimal working region for the hollow cathode has been deter-mined under different energetic,regime and structural *** global model established in this paper can quickly determine the key structure and operating parameters of hollow cathode at the design stage,and provide the theoretical basis for hollow cathode design and development.

Existing streamflow reconstructions based on tree-ring analysis mostly rely on species from upland,mainly montane areas,while lowland species(generally plain)areas are rarely *** limits the understanding of streamflow change history in the lowlands,which is an important basis for water resource *** study focused on Populus euphratica stands located along the main stream,eastern and western tributaries in the lower reaches of the Heihe River basin(HRb),in arid northwestern *** investigated how streamflow regulation interferes with ripar-ian trees in lowlands when they used for streamflow ***-ring width chronologies were developed and analyzed in conjunction with meteorological and hydrologic observation *** results show streamflow regulation leads in sharp fluctuations in the streamflow allocation between the eastern tributaries and western *** resulted in instability of the correlation between streamflow at the two tributaries and at the Zhengyixia hydrologic station,with corresponding fluctuations in radial growth of poplar trees on the banks of the two tributaries and at the *** regulation altered the natural patterns of seasonal streamflow below the station,changing the time window of poplar *** study provides useful insight into tree-ring width based streamflow reconstruction in the lowlands.

Objective To determine the prevalence and determinants of folic acid(FA)supplementation in Chinese couples planning for pregnancy and in women during early *** This was a cross-sectional study based on the Shanghai PreConception Cohort(SPCC)*** on FA supplementation and socio-demographic features were collected using *** visiting clinics for pre-pregnancy examination and pregnant women at<14 gestational weeks were recruited in Shanghai,China,between March 2016 and September *** Among the pregnancy planners,42.4%(4,710/11,099)women and 17.1%(1,377/8,045)men used FA supplements,while 93.4%(14,585/15,615)of the pregnant women used FA *** supplement use was higher in female pregnancy planners who were older(RR:1.13,95%CI:1.08–1.18),had higher education(RR:1.71,95%CI:1.53–1.92),and were residing in urban districts(RR:1.06,95%CI:1.01–1.11)of FA supplementation;female pregnancy planners with alcohol consumption(RR:0.95,95%CI:0.90–0.99)had lower odds of FA *** early pregnancy,women with higher educational level(RR:1.04,95%CI:1.03–1.06),who underwent pre-pregnancy examination(RR:1.02,95%CI:1.01–1.03)had higher odds of using an FA supplement;older aged(RR:0.99,95%CI:0.98–0.99),and multigravida(RR:0.97,95%CI:0.96–0.98)had lower odds of FA *** Although the majority of pregnant women took FA supplements,more than half of the women planning for pregnancy did *** strategies are needed to improve pre-conception FA supplementation.

High-efficiency seawater electrolysis is impeded by the low activity and low durability of oxygen evolution catalysts due to the complex composition and competitive side reactions in ***,a heterogeneousstructured catalyst is constructed by depositing NiFe-layered double hydroxides （NiFe-LDH） on the substrate of MXene （V2CTx） modified Ni foam （NF）,and abbreviated as NiFe-LDH/V2CTx/*** demonstrated,owing to the intrinsic negative charge characteristic of V2CTx,chlorine ions are denied entry to the interface between NiFeLDH and V2CTx/NF substrate,thus endowing NiFe-LDH/V2CTx/NF catalyst with high corrosion resistance and durable stability for 110 h at 500 mA ***,the two-dimensional structure and high electrical conductivity of V2CTxcan respectively enlarge the electrochemical active surface area and guarantee fast charge transfer,thereby synergistically promoting the catalytic performance of NiFe-LDH/V2CTx/NF in both deionized water electrolyte (261 m V at 100 m A cm-2) and simulated seawater electrolyte (241 mV at 100 mA cm-2).This work can guide the preparation of oxygen evolution catalysts and accelerate the industrialization of seawater electrolysis.

Design of novel RGO/2D strip-like ZIF-8/DMAOP ternary hybrid structure towards high-efficiency microwave absorption, active and passive anti-corrosion, and synergistic antibacterial performance

In order to meet the requirements of the marine environment for microwave absorption(MA)materials,we put forward the strategy of constructing multi-functional composite materials,which integrate microwave absorption,anti-corrosion,and antibacterial ***,graphene oxide(GO)was used as a template to induce the growth of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8),simultaneously as a two-dimensional(2D)nanocontainers to load corrosion inhibitors to achieve pH-responsive and self-healing ***,quaternary ammonium salt(dimethyl octadecyl(3-trimethoxylsilyl propyl)ammonium chloride(DMAOP))and sodium ascorbate(VCNa)were introduced to achieve synergistic antibacterial activity and the reduction of *** 2D strip-like structure of ZIF-8 was due to the confined growth induced by the electrostatic attraction between ZIF-8 and GO *** as-obtained reduced GO(RGO)/ZIF-8/DMAOP5 exhibited excellent microwave absorption(MA)properties,with a minimum reflection loss(RL)value of-47.08 dB at 12.73 GHz when the thickness was 2.8 ***,the effective absorption bandwidth reached 6.84 *** soaking in 3.5%NaCl solution for 35 days,the RGO/ZIF-8/DMAOP5-0.7%coating still achieved an impedance value of 4.585×107Ω·cm^(2) and a protective efficiency of 99.994%,providing superior anti-corrosion *** addition,fantastic antibacterial activity was obtained,with the antibacterial rates of RGO/ZIF-8/DMAOP_(10) reaching 99.39%and 100%against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus *** work could open new avenues towards the development of a new generation of multifunctional MA materials.
