Preliminary study of metabonomic changes during the progression of atherosclerosis in miniature pigs

BackgroundTo explore potential biomarkers for early diagnosis of atherosclerosis (AS) and provide basic data for further research on AS, the characteristics of serum metabolomics during the progression of AS in mini-pigs were observed *** AS model in Bama miniature pigs was established by a high-cholesterol and high-fat diet. Fasting serum samples were collected monthly for metabolomics and serum lipid detection. At the end of the treatment period, pathological analysis of the abdominal aorta and coronary artery was performed to evaluate the lesions of AS, thereby distinguishing the susceptibility of mini-pigs to AS. The metabolomics was detected using a high-resolution untargeted metabolomic approach. Statistical analysis was used to identify metabolites associated with AS *** on pathological analysis, mini-pigs were divided into two groups: a susceptible group (n = 3) and a non-susceptible group (n = 6). A total of 1318 metabolites were identified, with significant shifting of metabolic profiles over time in both groups. Dynamic monitoring analysis highlighted 57 metabolites that exhibited an obvious trend of differential changes between two groups with the advance of time. The KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of genes and genomes) pathway enrichment analysis indicated significant disorders in cholesterol metabolism, primary bile acid metabolism, histidine metabolism, as well as taurine and hypotaurine *** the progression of AS in mini-pigs induced by high-cholesterol/high-fat diet, the alterations in serum metabolic profile exhibited a time-dependent pattern, accompanied by notable disturbances in lipid metabolism, cholesterol metabolism, and amino acid metabolism. During the construction of an offshore wind farm(OWF),the capital cost of the collector cable system accounts for a large proportion of the total ***,the optimal design of the collector system topology(CST)is one of the most crucial tasks in OWF ***,for a large-scale OWF,the optimal design of CST is a complex integer programming problem with high-dimension variables and various ***,it is difficult to acquire a high-quality optimal design *** address this issue,this paper proposes a new grouping-based optimal design of CST for a large-scale ***,all the wind turbines are divided into multiple groups according to their geographical locations and the maximum allowed connected wind turbines by each *** not only reduces the optimization dimension and difficulty,but also effectively satisfies the‘no cross’constraint by putting the geographically closed wind turbines into the same ***,the electrical topology among different wind turbines in each group is initially generated by an improved dynamic minimum spanning tree(DMST).The division groups of the OWF are then adjusted to further reduce the capital cost by improved simulated *** verify the proposed technique,comparison case studies are carried out with five algorithms on two different OWF.

檀香紫檀优树及其嫁接无性系间种子形态和萌发特征变异

檀香紫檀是世界上最为名贵的红木树种之一,其在我国的规模发展受制于种子生产。最近中国林业科学研究院热带林业研究所利用优树材料在海南岛尖峰岭营建了檀香紫檀嫁接无性系采种园,目前已开花结实,其种子品质及其与优树间差异尚待研究... 详细信息

檀香紫檀是世界上最为名贵的红木树种之一,其在我国的规模发展受制于种子生产。最近中国林业科学研究院热带林业研究所利用优树材料在海南岛尖峰岭营建了檀香紫檀嫁接无性系采种园,目前已开花结实,其种子品质及其与优树间差异尚待研究。以海南岛尖峰岭中国林业科学研究院热带林业研究所试验站引种园檀香紫檀6株优树及其在采种园内的嫁接无性系为对象,采集种子测定其形态性状,并采用双层滤纸法开展种子萌发试验。结果表明:(1)无论是优树还是其嫁接无性系,其种子形态性状的变异系数远小于芽苗生长性状,种子千粒重的变异系数最小,说明其芽苗生长变异较种子形态变异更丰富;(2)檀香紫檀优树间种子长度差异显著(P<0.05),以7号优树为最大,嫁接无性系间种子长度、宽度和厚度均差异显著,其长度和宽度以9^(#)号无性系为最大,厚度以7^(#)号无性系为最大;(3)优树间和无性系间种子发芽率、发芽势差异显著,优树中发芽率和发芽势分别以3号和9号为最高,无性系则均以5^(#)号为最高,优树间上胚轴、下胚轴和胚根长度以及芽苗总长度均差异显著,均以3号优树为最大,无性系间胚根长度和芽苗总长度差异显著,均以7^(#)号无性系为最大,说明优树间和无性系间种子萌发和芽苗生长均存在丰富变异;(4)优树与其对应无性系间种子形态、萌发和芽苗生长性状差异显著性因基因型而异,整体而言,无性系的种子长度和宽度大于其对应优树,其种子发芽和芽苗生长表现优于其对应优树;(5)相关性分析表明,种子千粒重与发芽率极显著(P<0.01),种子越饱满,发芽率越高。总而言之,檀香紫檀采种园的种子在形态和萌发上整体优于引种园的优树;而且种子千粒重在优树间、嫁接无性系间以及优树与其对应无性系间均差异不显著(P≥0.05),采种园种子较为饱满,其总体均值接近100 g,超过早期散生嫁接植株(92.9 g)。研究结果为檀香紫檀良种选育、种子园营建和壮苗培育提供科学依据。

The wheel-legged biped robot is a typical ground-based mobile robot that can combine the high velocity and high efficiency pertaining to wheeled motion and the strong,obstacle-crossing performance associated with legged *** robots have gradually exhibited satisfactory application potential in various harsh scenarios such as rubble rescue,military operations,and wilderness ***-legged biped robots are divided into four categories according to the open–close chain structure forms and operation task modes,and the latest technology research status is summarized in this *** hardware control system,control method,and application are analyzed,and the dynamic balance control for the two-wheel,biomimetic jumping control for the legs and whole-body control for integrating the wheels and legs are *** summary,it is observed that the current research exhibits problems,such as the insufficient application of novel materials and a rigid–flexible coupling design;the limited application of the advanced,intelligent control methods;the inadequate understanding of the bionic jumping mechanisms in robot legs;and the insufficient coordination ability of the multi-modal motion,which do not exhibit practical application for the wheel-legged biped ***,this study discusses the key research directions and development trends for the wheel-legged biped robots.

碱激发矿渣加固淤泥的物理力学性能与机理

为绿色低碳处置渣土并进行资源化利用,通过碱激发高炉矿渣(ground granulated blast-furnace slag, GGBS)作为绿色固化剂固化淤泥质工程渣土进行路基填料应用,探究不同固化剂掺量对固化土的综合性能影响规律,采用X射线衍射(X-ray diffraction, XRD)、扫描电镜(scanning electron microscopy, SEM)、核磁共振(nuclear magnetic resonance, NMR)对固化效果进行微观表征,用分形理论阐述微观孔隙特征揭示碱激发GGBS固化淤泥质渣土机理。结果表明:固化剂增加了固化土液塑限,降低了塑性指数,最优含水率随固化剂掺量增加呈现先减少后增大的趋势,最大干密度与之相反。掺入固化剂提高了渣土力学性能和水稳性,10%的掺量的固化渣土,强度、加州承载比(California bearing ratio, CBR)、水稳性以及渗透性分别为2.36 MPa、210.7%、81.3%和1.36×10^(-7)cm/s,各项指标均能满足路基填筑强度要求。微观机理表明,改良土的主要水化产物为(N,C)-A-S-H以及钙矾石Aft,固化体主要孔隙数量减少,10%的掺量的固化渣土,中孔隙减少了14.7%,孔隙分布分维数由1.23减小为1.06。通过碱激发GGBS固化淤泥质工程渣土,改善了渣土的稳定性,具有较好的应用前景。

Determining correlations between molecules at various levels is an important topic in molecular biology. Large language models have demonstrated a remarkable ability to capture correlations from large amounts of data in the field of natural language processing as well as image generation, and correlations captured from data using large language models can also be applicable to solving a wide range of specific tasks, hence large language models are also referred to as foundation models. The massive amount of data that exists in the field of molecular biology provides an excellent basis for the development of foundation models, and the recent emergence of foundation models in the field of molecular biology has really pushed the entire field forward. We summarize the foundation models developed based on RNA sequence data, DNA sequence data, protein sequence data, single-cell transcriptome data, and spatial transcriptome data respectively, and further discuss the research directions for the development of foundation models in molecular biology.
