Opinion consensus incorporating higher-order interactions in individual-collective networks

In the current information society, the dissemination mechanisms and evolution laws of individual or collective opinions and their behaviors are the research hot topics in the field of opinion dynamics. First, in this paper, a two-layer network consisting of an individual-opinion layer and a collective-opinion layer is constructed, and a dissemination model of opinions incorporating higher-order interactions(i.e. OIHOI dissemination model) is proposed. Furthermore, the dynamic equations of opinion dissemination for both individuals and groups are presented. Using Lyapunov's first method,two equilibrium points, including the negative consensus point and positive consensus point, and the dynamic equations obtained for opinion dissemination, are analyzed theoretically. In addition, for individual opinions and collective opinions,some conditions for reaching negative consensus and positive consensus as well as the theoretical expression for the dissemination threshold are put forward. Numerical simulations are carried to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results, as well as the influence of the intra-structure, inter-connections, and higher-order interactions on the dissemination and evolution of individual opinions. The main results are as follows.(i) When the intra-structure of the collective-opinion layer meets certain characteristics, then a negative or positive consensus is easier to reach for individuals.(ii) Both negative consensus and positive consensus perform best in mixed type of inter-connections in the two-layer network.(iii) Higher-order interactions can quickly eliminate differences in individual opinions, thereby enabling individuals to reach consensus faster.

Despite improvement in cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)performance,cardiac arrest(CA)is still associated with poor *** high mortality rate is due to multi-organ dysfunction caused by cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury(I/R).The guidelines for CPR suggest the use of therapeutic hypothermia(TH)as an effective treatment to decrease mortality and the only approach confirmed to reduce I/R *** TH,sedative agents(propofol)and analgesia agents(fentanyl)are commonly used to prevent shiver and ***,propofol has been associated with a number of serious adverse effects such as metabolic acidosis,cardiac asystole,myocardial failure,and *** addition,mild TH alters the pharmacokinetics of agents(propofol and fentanyl)and reduces their systemic *** CA patients undergoing TH,propofol can be overdosed,leading to delayed awakening,prolonged mechanical ventilation,and other subsequent ***(HSK3486)is a novel anesthetic agent that is convenient and easy to administer intravenously outside the operating *** is rapidly metabolized and accumulates at low concentrations after continuous infusion in a stable circulatory system compared to ***,we hypothesized that treatment with HSK3486 and mild TH after CA could protect the brain and other organs.

Enhanced deposition of Zn O films by Li doping using radio frequency reactive magnetron sputtering

Radio frequency(RF) reactive magnetron sputtering was utilized to deposit Li-doped and undoped zinc oxide(Zn O) films on silicon wafers. Various Ar/O2 gas ratios by volume and sputtering powers were selected for each deposition process. The results demonstrate that the enhanced Zn O films are obtained via Li doping. The average deposition rate for doped Zn O films is twice more than that of the undoped films. Both atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy studies indicate that Li doping significantly contributes to the higher degree of crystallinity of wurtzite–Zn O. X-ray diffraction analysis demonstrates that Li doping promotes the(002) preferential orientation in Li-doped Zn O films. However, an increase in the Zn O lattice constant, broadening of the(002) peak and a decrease in the peak integral area are observed in some Li-doped samples, especially as the form of Li2 O. This implies that doping with Li expands the crystal structure and thus induces the additional strain in the crystal lattice. The oriented-growth Li-doped Zn O will make significant applications in future surface acoustic wave devices.

Supported polyamines are promising candidates for the chemical adsorption of CO_(2),the performance of which is highly dependent on the porous structure of *** this work,we synthesized a kind of fibrous carbon microspheres(FCMs)from environmentally friendly and low-cost *** synthesized FCMs have microspheric morphology and fibrous sub-architecture,and the carbon fibers interweave to form pores with large *** flexibility of the pores formed by the interweaving of carbon fibers also enable the supporting of high quantity of *** these features,pentaethylenehexamine(PEHA)was physically dispersed in the pores of FCMs to prepare PEHA/FCMs adsorbents,which were systematically characterized and investigated for CO_(2) capture *** is found that PEHA/FCMs adsorbents show excellent ability for CO_(2) adsorption,with the highest CO_(2) capacity of 3.90 mmol g^(-1) at 75℃ when using 10 vol%of CO_(2) for *** reversibility of PEHA/FCMs adsorbents for CO_(2) adsorption is also fairly good,and PEHA/FCMs adsorbents have strong ability for the selective adsorption of low-content CO_(2) from N_(2).

A group of massive galaxies at redshifts of z■7 have been recently detected by the James Webb Space Telescope(JWST),which were unexpected to form at such an early time within the standard Big Bang *** this work,we propose that this puzzle can be explained by the presence of some primordial black holes(PBHs)with a mass of~1000M_(⊙).These PBHs act as seeds for early galaxy formation with masses of~10^(8)-10^(10)M_(⊙)at high redshift,hence accounting for the JWST *** use a hierarchical Bayesian inference framework to constrain the PBH mass distribution models,and find that the Lognormal model with the M_(c)~750M_(⊙)is preferred over other *** rapidly growing BHs are expected to have strong radiation and may appear as high-redshift compact objects,similar to those recently discovered by *** we focused on PBHs in this work,the bound on the initial mass of the seed black holes remains robust even if they were formed through astrophysical channels.

High-speed railway tunnels in various countries have continuously reported accidents of vault falling concrete *** the concrete block falling occurs,serious consequences follow,and traffic safety may be *** aerodynamic shockwave evolves from the initial compression wave may be an important inducement causing the tunnel lining cracks to grow and form falling concrete blocks.A joint calculation framework is established based on ANSYS Fluent,ABAQUS,and FRANC3D for calculating the crack tip field under the aerodynamic *** intensification effect of aerodynamic shockwaves in the crack is revealed,and the evolution characteristics of the crack tip field and the influence factors of stress intensity factor(SIF)are *** show that(1)the aerodynamic shockwave intensifies after entering the crack,resulting in more significant pressure in the crack than the input *** maximum pressure of the inclined and longitudinal cracks is higher than the corresponding values of the circumferential crack,respectively.(2)The maximum SIF of the circumferential,inclined,and longitudinal crack appears at 0.5,0.68,and 0.78 times the crack front *** maximum SIF of the circumferential crack is higher than that of the inclined and longitudinal *** possibility of crack growth of the circumferential crack is the highest under aerodynamic shockwaves.(3)The influence of train speed on the SIF of the circumferential crack is more than 40%.When the train speed,crack depth,and crack length change,the change of pressure in the crack is the direct cause of the change of SIF.

How can technology and efficiency alleviate the dilemma of economic growth and carbon emissions in China's industrial economy? A metafrontier decoupling decomposition analysis

This paper attempts to explore the decoupling relationship and its drivers between industrial economic increase and energy-related CO_(2) emissions(ICE). Firstly, the decoupling relationship was evaluated by Tapio index. Then, based on the DEA meta-frontier theory framework which taking into account the regional and industrial heterogeneity and index decomposition method, the driving factors of decoupling process were explored mainly from the view of technology and efficiency. The results show that during2000-2019, weak decoupling was the primary state. Investment scale expansion was the largest reason hindering decoupling process of industrial increase from ICE. Both energy saving and production technology achieved significant progress, which facilitated the decoupling process. Simultaneously, the energy technology gap and production technology gap among regions have been narrowed, and played a role in promoting decoupling process. On the contrary, both scale economy efficiency and pure technical efficiency have inhibiting effects on decoupling process. The former indicates that the scale economy of China's industry was not conducive to improve energy efficiency and production efficiency, while the latter indicates that resource misallocation problem may exist in both energy market and product market.
