Bacterial infections are a major cause for impulsive deaths in human *** infections of the respiratory,gastrointestinal and central nervous system account for the majority of cases of sudden *** available drugs are getting ineffective by each passing day as the mutation is very fast in these pathogenic microbes resulting in drug *** growing resistance of bacteria necessitates the development of new and effective compounds of desired characteristics that could bar the rapid development of bacterial cell inside of the host *** with cellular resistance for clinical antibiotics,co-bacterial infections during microbial attacks(***,fungus,protozoans etc.)also demand for some novel antibacterial drugs having high efficacy and minimal side effects on human *** antibiotics should also be compatible with remedies ongoing for core microbial ***,in demand of search for effective antibacterial moieties,the scope of transition metal complexes as drug gives a good signal against the pathogenic bacteria by inhibiting their *** action of metal complexes on bacterial cell may be due to impremiablity,enzymatic interruptions,ribosomal interactions,disturbance in the path of protein synthesis,denaturing of genetic materials *** the *** in complexes may interrupt the lipophilisity through the bacterial cell *** of metal ions in organic moieties behaving as ligand delocalizeπ-electrons upon the entire chelate ring and this chelation results in overlapping of ligand orbital and partial sharing of(+)ve charge of metal ion with donor *** structural modifications in metal and organic lone pair donor species are the supposed reasons for their enhanced antimicrobial activities against pathogenic *** present review focuses on the impact of recently synthesized,well characterized mono and binuclear transition metal complexes of Cu ions that have the potential to be the drug of th

CHD （coronary heart disease） is the single most important cause of death and, more importantly, the single biggest cause of premature death in modem, industrialized countries. On the basis of summarized results in respect to assessing file nutritional status and dietary pattern of coronary heart diseased patients, it was concluded that nutritional status of control group was better as compared to diseased group. The dietary pattern of diseased group was similar to control group.

Due to the continuous rising demand of handheld devices like iPods, mobile, tablets;specific applications like biomedical applications like pacemakers, hearing aid machines and space applications which require stable digital systems with low power consumptions are required. As a main part in digital system the SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) should have low power consumption and stability. As we are continuously moving towards scaling for the last two decades the effect of this is process variations which have severe effect on stability, performance. Reducing the supply voltage to sub-threshold region, which helps in reducing the power consumption to an extent but side by side it raises the issue of the stability of the memory. Static Noise Margin of SRAM cell enforces great challenges to the sub threshold SRAM design. In this paper we have analyzed the cell stability of 9T SRAM Cell at various processes. The cell stability is checked at deep submicron (DSM) technology. In this paper we have analyzed the effect of temperature and supply voltage (Vdd) on the stability parameters of SRAM which is Static Noise Margin (SNM), Write Margin (WM) and Read Current. The effect has been observed at various process corners at 45 nm technology. The temperature has a significant effect on stability along with the Vdd. The Cell has been working efficiently at all process corners and has 50% more SNM from conventional 6T SRAM and 30% more WM from conventional 6T SRAM cell.

Concurrent dengue and malaria in an area in Kolkata

Objective:To establish the nature and extent of dual dengue and malaria infections in an endemic area through a longitudinal ***:A prospective study was conducted from August 2005 to December 2010 to document the nature and extent of concurrent dengue and malaria infections in an area in central Kolkata,endemic both for dengue and ***: Of 2 971 suspected cases of dengue fever,in 605(20.36%) persons dengue infection was detected, of whom 46(7.60%,46/605) patients(40 and 6 suffered from secondary and primary dengue fever respectively) were simultaneously suffering from malaria(28 and 18 were infected with Plasmodium vivax(***) and Plasmodium falciparum(***) respectively,such dual infections of dengue and malaria were detected in all the years of the study period,except 2007,indicating intense transmission of both dengue and malaria in the study area,and the phenomenon was not an isolated one,the rate of concomitant infections ranged from 25%in 2009 to 4.9%in *** of total population surveyed,1.54%(46/2 971) had concurrent dengue and malaria ***:These findings added a new dimension in diagnosis,treatment, epidemiology and control of dengue and *** possible risk of concurrent dengue and malaria infectioas should always be kept in mind in endemic areas for early diagnosis employing modern technology and prompt and effective treatment to avoid serious complications.

Induced Polyploidy via Colchicine Treatment Increases Flower Size and Fruit Weight in Cape Gooseberry(Physalis peruviana L.)

An induced polyploid plant through colchicine treatment offers probably the best scope for improvement in flower size and fruit ***,in the present study,an attempt was made to induce polyploidy in Cape gooseberry using colchicine with the objective of creating more genetic *** colchicine concentrations were used as 0.10%(C1),0.20%(C2)and 0.40%(C3)for the duration 12(H1),24(H2)and 36(H3)hours for each concentration with seedling apex dip method(M1),cotton plug method(M2)and lanolin paste method(M3).The plants treated with 0.10%of colchicine by cotton plug method for 12 h showed the better performance during the years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 in respect of more delay in the flower bud emergence(54 d and 53 d from the date of transplanting),anthesis(19 d and 20 d from the first appearance of bud to full anthesis of flower)and fruit setting(8.00 d and 9.00 d from the date of anthesis),bigger flower size(2.93 cm2 and 3.00 cm2)than the untreated *** lower percentage of pollen viability(40.33%and 40.67%)was noticed in the same treatment in comparison to control(70.33%and 72.33%).The fruit maturity was also extended(59 d and 60 d from the date of fruit set)with bigger sized fruits(length:2.53 cm and 2.57 cm,breadth:2.27 cm and 2.33 cm)as well as more fruit weight(8.70 g and 8.33 g)by the application of colchicine at 0.10%with cotton plug method for 12 *** the basis of results obtained,the application of colchicine at 0.10%for 12 h duration with cotton plug method was found to be the best and effective treatment for induction of polyploidy as well as more flower size and fruit weight in Cape gooseberry.

Holy basil(Tulsi,Ocimum sanctum)is considered to be a pious *** is used not only in many of the rituals of Hindus but is also known for its innumerable medicinal *** basil leaves(HBLs)are often consumed raw thus it is pertinent to detect the bacteria on Tulsi *** study was conducted to understand the diversity of the aerobically growing microbiome of edible holy basil leaves.A total of 112 samples of leaves were collected from households of six localities in and around Bareilly,India for detecting culturable bacteria growing aerobically.A sum of 579 bacterial isolates belonging to 106 different species was *** agglomerans isolates were detected in 43 samples followed by isolates Virgibacillus pantothenticus(21),Bacillus coagulans(18),Bacillus cereus(17),Geobacillus stearothermophilus(16),Klebsiella pneumoniae(13),Citrobacter freundii(12),Lysinibacillus sphaericus(12),Acinetobacter calcoaceticus(11),Escherichia coli(11),and Xenorhabdus bovienii(11).Isolates of 95 species of bacteria were detected on<10 samples of *** 579 isolates,161 isolates detected in 68(60.71%)samples were of putatively good bacteria belonging to eight genera(Bacillus,Brevibacillus,Lysinibacillus,Paenibacillus,Photobacter,Siccibacter,Virgibacillus,Xenoirhabdus)and 23 ***,418 bacterial isolates detected in 108(96.43%)of the HBL samples were classified as potentially pathogenic for humans and animals belonging to 34 genera and 73 *** were only four samples(three from Mahanagar and one from Bhojipura)that had no potential pathogenic bacteria detected in this *** analysis indicated that HBL leaves from the ICAR-IVRI campus had a lower probability(P<0.04)of harbouring good bacteria than samples from Bhojpura,Mahanagar,North City and Rajendra *** inhibiting 96.72%of the isolates and carvacrol inhibiting 96.37%of the isolates were the best herbal antimicrobials and among antibiotics,meropenem inhibited 98.96%of bacte
