Introduction In Brazil,approximately 5%are born with a congenital disorder,potentially fatal without *** study aims to evaluate the relationship between gastrointestinal congenital malformation(GICM)mortality,health indicators,and socioeconomic factors in *** GICM admissions(Q39-Q45)between 2012 and 2019 were collected using national *** demographics,socioeconomic factors,clinical management,outcomes,and the healthcare workforce density were also accounted *** Surgical Workforce density and the number of neonatal intensive care units in a region were extracted from national datasets and combined to create a clinical index termed'NeoSurg'.Socioeconomic variables were combined to create a socioeconomic index termed SocEcon'.Simple linear regression was used to investigate if the temporal changes of both indexes were *** correlation between mortality and the different indicators in Brazil was evaluated using Pearson's correlation *** Over 8 years,Brazil recorded 12804 GICM *** Southeast led with 6147 cases,followed by the Northeast(2660),South(1727),North(1427),and Midwest(843).The North and Northeast reported the highest mortality,lowest NeoSurg,and SocEcon Index ***,mortality rates declined across regions from 7.7%(2012)to 3.9%(2019),a 51.7%*** North and Midwest experienced the most substantial reductions,at 63%and 75%,*** significantly correlated with the indexes in nearly all regions(p<0.05).Conclusion Our study highlights the correlation between social determinants of health and GICM mortality in Brazil,using two novel indexes in the pediatric *** findings provide an opportunity to rethink and discuss new indicators that could enhance our understanding of our country and could lead to the development of necessary solutions to tackle existing challenges in Brazil and globally.

Morphological changes within the porous architecture of laboratory scale zero valent iron （ZVI） permeable reactive barriers （PRBs）, after exposure to different groundwater conditions, have been quantified experimentally for different ZVI/sand ratios （10%, 50% and 100%, W/W） with the aim of inferring porosity changes in field barriers. Column studies were conducted to simulate interaction with different water chemistries, a synthetic groundwater, acidic drainage and deionised （DI） water as control. Morphological changes, in terms of pore size and distribution, were measured using X-ray computed tomography （CT）. CT image analysis revealed significant morphological changes in columns treated with different water chemistries. For example, 100% ZVI （W/W） columns had a higher frequency of small pores （0.6 mm） was observed in ZVI grains reacted with typical groundwater, resulting in a porosity of 27%, compared to 32% when exposed to DI water. In comparison, ZVI grains treated with the acidic drainage had higher porosity （44%） and larger average pore size （2.8 mm）. 10% ZVI PRB barrier material had the highest mean porosity （56%） after exposure to any water chemistry whilst 100% ZVI （W/W） columns always had the lowest （34%） with the 50% ZVI （W/W） in between （40%）. These results agree with previously published PRB field data and simultaneously conducted geochemical monitoring and mass balance calculation, indicating that both the geochemical and hydraulic environment of the PRB play an important role in determining barrier lifespan. This study suggests that X-ray CT image analysis is a powerful tool for studying the detailed inter pores between ZVI grains within PRBs.

Conventional moving target detection focuses on algorithms to improve detection efficiency. These algorithms pay less attention to the image acquisition means, and usually solve specific problems. This often results in poor flexibility and reus- ability. Insect compound eyes offer unique advantages for moving target detection and these advantages have attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. In this paper we proposed a new system for moving target detection. We used the detection mechanism of insect compound eyes for the simulation of the characteristics of structure, control, and function. We discussed the design scheme of the system, the development of the bionic control circuit, and introduced the proposed mathe- matical model of bionic cqmpound eyes for data acquisition and object detection. After this the integrated system was described and discussed. Our paper presents a novel approach for moving target detection. This approach effectively tackles some of the well-known problems in the field of view, resolution, and real-time processing problems in moving target detection.

A striking characteristic of cancer ceLls is their remarkable phenotypic plasticity, which is the ability to switch states or phenotypes in response to environmental fluctuations. Phenotypic changes such as a partial or complete epithelial to mesenchymal transition （EMT） that play important roles in their survival and proliferation, and development of resistance to therapeutic treatments, are widely believed to arise due to somatic mutations in the genome. However, there is a growing concern that such a deterministic view is not entirely consistent with multiple lines of evidence, which indicate that stochasticity may also play an important role in driving phenotypic plasticity. Here, we discuss how stochasticity in protein interaction networks （PINs） may play a key role in determining phenotypic plasticity in prostate cancer （PCa）. Specifically, we point out that the key players driving transitions among different phenotypes （epithelial, mesenchymal, and hybrid epithelial/mesenchymal）, including ZEB1, SNAIl, OVOL1, and OVOL2, are intrinsically disordered proteins （IDPs） and discuss how plasticity at the molecular level may contribute to stochasticity in phenotypic switching by rewiring PINs. We conclude by suggesting that targeting iDPs implicated in EMT in PCa may be a new strategy to gain additional insights and develop novel treatments for this disease, which is the most common form of cancer in adult men.

A number of studies revealed that the Gangdese magmatic belt of southern Tibet was closely related to the northward subduction of the Neo-Tethys oceanic lithosphere and Indo-Asian ***,pre-Cretaceous magmatism is still poorly constrained in the Gangdese magmatic belt,southern ***,we conducted systematically geochronology and geochemistry studies on a newly-identified granitic pluton in the middle Gangdese magmatic belt(Namling area),southern *** SHRIMPⅡU-Pb dating for one representative sample gives a weighted age of 184.2±1.8 Ma(MSWD=±1.11),corresponding to emplacement and crystallization age of the granitic pluton in the Early Jurassic(Pliensbachian).High SiO2(68.9-72.1 wt.%)contents and intermediate Mg#values(35-38)together suggest that the newly-identified granitic pluton was probably formed by partial melting of crustal material with minor injection of mantle-derived magma,precluding an origin from melting of metasedimentary rocks that are characterized by low Mg#and high zirconδ^18O values(>8‰).Geochemically,the newly-identified granitic pluton belongs to typical I-type granitic affinity,whereas this is inconsistent with aluminium saturation index(ASI=A/CNK ratios)and geochemical *** suggests that zircon oxygen isotopes(4.30‰-5.28‰)and mineral features(lacking Al-rich minerals)are reliable indicators for discriminating granitic *** depleted whole-rock Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic compositions and zirconεHf(t)values indicate that the granitic pluton was derived from partial melting of depleted arc-type *** addition,the granitic pluton shows zirconδ^18O values ranging from 4.30‰to 5.28‰(with a mean value of 4.77‰)that are consistent with mantle-derived zircon values(5.3‰±0.6‰)within the uncertainties,indicating that the granitic pluton might have experienced weak short-living high-temperature hydrous fluid-rock *** with the Sr-Nd-Hf-O isotopes and geochemical signatures,we propose that the newl
