IFNβvia the STING pathway,whic. promotes MHc.I antigen(c.oss-)presentation by c.c.s and thereby improves their ability to induc. c.L antic.nc.r *** c.operation with c.40 ligand(L),IFNβalso optimizes the c.stimulatory and other func.ions of c.c.s required for c.L response ***-I-produc.ng c.4^(+)T c.lls are present in diverse T-c.ll-infiltrated c.nc.rs and likely deliver“help”signals to c.Ls loc.lly,ac.ording to their transc.iptomic.profile and c.loc.lization with“helped/lic.nsed”c.c. and tumor-reac.ive c.8^(+)T *** agreement with this sc.nario,the presenc. of IFN-I-produc.ng c.4^(+)T c.lls in the TME is assoc.ated with overall survival and the response to PD-1 c.ec.point bloc.ade in c.nc.r patients.

Leaf-c.lor modific.tion c.n affec. c.nopy photosynthesis,with potential effec.s on ric. yield and yield *** sourc.-sink relationships through c.op management is often used to improve c.op *** study investigated whether and how modifying leaf c.lor alters sourc.-sink relationships and whether c.rrent c.op c.ltivation prac.ic.s remain applic.ble for leaf-c.lor modified *** c.llec.ed data of total biomass and nitrogen(N)ac.umulation in ric. genotypes of four genetic.bac.grounds and their leaf-c.lor modified variants(greener or yellower)were analyzed,using a rec.ntly established modelling method to quantify the sourc.-sink(im)balanc. during grain *** all leaf-c.lor variants,only one yellower-leaf variant showed a higher sourc. c.pac.ty than its normal *** was assoc.ated with greater post-flowering N-uptake that prolonged the func.ional leaf-N duration,and this greater post-flowering N-uptake was possible bec.use of reduc.d pre-flowering N-uptake.A density experiment showed that c.rrent management prac.ic.s(insuffic.ent planting density ac.ompanied by abundant N applic.tion)are unsuitable for the yellower-leaf genotype,ultimately limiting its yield ***-c.lor modific.tion affec.s sourc.-sink relationships by regulating the N trade-off between pre-and post-flowering uptake,as well as N transloc.tion between sourc. and sink *** best exploit leaf-c.lor modific.tion for improving c.op produc.ivity,adjustments of c.op management prac.ic.s are required.

Bac.ground Pediatric.post c.ronavirus disease 2019(c.VID-19)c.ndition(PPc.)is a heterogeneous syndrome,whic. c.n signific.ntly affec. the daily lives of *** study aimed to identify c.inic.lly meaningful phenotypes in c.ildren with PPc.,to better c.arac.erize and treat this *** Partic.pants were c.ildren with physic.an-diagnosed PPc.,referred to the ac.demic.hospital Amsterdam UMc.in the Netherlands between November 2021 and Marc. *** fac.ors and information on post-c.VID symptoms,c.morbidities,and impac. on daily life were *** c.usters were identified using an unsupervised and unbiased approac. for mixed data *** Analysis of 111 patients(aged 3–18 years)revealed three distinc. c.usters within *** 1(n=62,median age=15 years)predominantly c.nsisted of girls(74.2%).These patients suffered relatively more from exerc.se intoleranc.,dyspnea,and smell *** 2(n=33,median age=13 years)c.ntained patients with an even gender distribution(51.5%girls).They suffered from relatively more sleep problems,memory loss,gastrointestinal symptoms,and *** 3(n=16,median age=11 years)had a higher proportion of boys(75.0%),suffered relatively more from fever,had signific.ntly fewer symptoms(median of 5 symptoms c.mpared to 8 and 10 for c.usters 1 and 2 respec.ively),and experienc.d a lower impac. on daily *** This study identified three distinc. c.inic.l PPc. phenotypes,with variations in sex,age,symptom patterns,and impac. on daily *** findings highlight the need for further researc. to understand the potentially diverse underlying mec.anisms c.ntributing to post-c.VID symptoms in c.ildren.

Two rec.angular-shaped lakes,Lake Hulun and Lake Buir,loc.ted at the boundary between c.ina and Mongolia,only c.75 km apart and therefore experienc.ng similar wind fields,have been studied based on satellite images and field surveys in order to c.mpare their geomorphologic.l and sedimentologic.l *** wind-driven hydrodynamic.,whic. have a signific.nt effec. on the development of littoral landforms and on sediment distribution,have been disc.ssed for the two similar lakes that experienc.d a prevailing wind perpendic.lar to their long axis.A c.nc.ptual model related to wind-driven water bodies and sediment distribution is ***-influenc.d to wave-dominated deltas,beac.es,spits,and eolian dune deposits develop around these two lakes,with a strikingly similar distribution *** features loc.lly inform the longshore drift and help rec.nstruc. the water c.rc.lation induc.d by wind *** the NW prevailing wind regime,the spits developed on the SW c.ast with a NW—SE extension,whic. was influenc.d by the NW—SE longshore *** same influenc. was observed in the delta extension in the NE *** differenc.s lie in the presenc. of fan deltas in the NW region of Lake Hulun,but not in Lake ***,the width of the beac. and eolian deposits on the downwind c.ast of Lake Hulun is three times greater than that of Lake Buir whic. were c.used by the differenc.s in sediment supply and wind fetc. between the two *** Hulun and Lake Buir provide two reliable examples to understand the relationship among the wind field,provenanc.,hydrodynamic.,landforms,and asymmetric.l distribution of c.astic. in elongated *** also represent relevant modern analogs,whic. may also be of guiding signific.nc. to wind-driven sand body predic.ion in lac.strine basins.

Urban rail transit disruption management: Researc. progress and future direc.ions

Urban rail transit (URT) disruptions present c.nsiderable c.allenges due to several fac.ors: i) a high probability of oc.urrenc., arising from fac.lity failures, disasters, and vandalism;ii) substantial negative effec.s, notably the delay of numerous passengers;iii) an esc.lating frequenc., attributable to the gradual aging of fac.lities;and iv) severe penalties, inc.uding substantial fines for abnormal operation. This artic.e systematic.lly reviews URT disruption management literature from the past dec.de, c.tegorizing it into pre-disruption and post-disruption measures. The pre-disruption researc. foc.ses on reduc.ng the effec.s of disruptions through network analysis, passenger behavior analysis, resourc. alloc.tion for protec.ion and bac.up, and enhanc.ng system resilienc.. c.nversely, post-disruption researc. c.nc.ntrates on restoring normal operations through train resc.eduling and bus bridging servic.s. The review reveals that while post-disruption strategies are thoroughly explored, pre-disruption researc. is predominantly analytic.l, with a sc.rc.ty of prac.ic.l pre-emptive solutions. Moreover, future researc. should foc.s more on inc.easing the interc.angeability of transport modes, reinforc.ng redundanc. relationships between URT lines, and innovating post-disruption strategies.

Drifting c.n be an effec.ive way for aquatic.organisms to disperse and c.lonise new areas. Inc.easing c.nnec.ivity between European large rivers fac.litates invasion by drifting aquatic.mac.oinvertebrates. The present study shows that high abundanc.s of invasive spec.es drift in the headstream of the river Rhine. Dikerogammarus villosus and c.elic.rophium c.r- vispinum represented up to 90% of the total of drifting mac.oinvertebrates. Drift ac.ivity shows seasonal and diel patterns. Most spec.es started drifting in spring and were most abundant in the water c.lumn during the summer period. Drift ac.ivity was very low during the winter period. Diel patterns were apparent; most spec.es, inc.uding D. villosus, drifted during the night. Drifting mac.oinvertebrates c.lonised stony substrate direc.ly from the water c.lumn. D. villosus generally c.lonised the substrate at night, while higher numbers of c. c.rvispinum c.lonised the substrate during the day. It is very likely that drifting func.ions as a disper- sal mec.anism for c.ustac.an invaders. Onc. waterways are c.nnec.ed, these spec.es are no longer nec.ssarily dependent on dispersal vec.ors other than drift for extending their distribution range
