Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) is an herbaceous plant of the Malvaceae family. In côte d’Ivoire, okra production is estimated to be over 193,000 tons. This low production is largely due to poor soils and hardly covers the needs of the population. To remedy this, growers systematically use mineral fertilizers. However, these fertilizers pollute the environment. To find an alternative to chemical fertilization and increase production, the effect of biofertilizers (Spaawet, Retone, Super Gro) compared with NPK mineral fertilizer was evaluated on Divo, Teriman, and Djonan F1 cultivars. The trial was set up in a factorial block design with three replications. Plant height, number of functional leaves, and crown diameter were assessed at 60 days after sowing (DAS). The time to 50% flowering, production time, and fruit yield were calculated. The results showed that the biofertilizer Retone induced the highest heights and number of functional leaves, with averages of 61.89 cm and 29.88 leaves, respectively. The diameter at the crown (17.77 mm) was highest with the NPK mineral fertilizer, and the shortest 50% flowering time, with an average of 47.61 days, was also obtained with the biofertilizer Retone. The NPK mineral fertilizer produced the longest production time, with an average of 35.25 days. The highest yields were obtained using Retone (11.07 t/ha) and NPK (9.52 t/ha) fertilizers. The “Divo*Retone” interaction produced the highest yield with an average of 12.19 t/ha. The biofertilizer Retone could therefore be used as an alternative fertilizer to chemical fertilization in okra crops, given its effect on the parameters assessed.

It is generally accepted that jasmonate-ZIM domain(JAZ)repressors act to mediate jasmonate(JA)signaling via cORONATINE-INSENSITIVE1(cOI1)-mediated ***,we report a cryptic signaling cascade where a JAZ repressor,FvJAZ12,mediates multiple signaling inputs via phosphorylation-modulated subcellular translocation rather than the cOI1-mediated degradation mechanism in strawberry(Fragaria vesca).FvJAZ12 acts to regulate flavor metabolism and defense response,and was found to be the target of Fv MPK6,a mitogen-activated protein kinase that is capable of responding to multiple signal ***6 phosphorylates FvJAZ12 at the amino acid residues S179 and T183 adjacent to the PY residues,thereby attenuating its nuclear accumulation and relieving its repression for FvMYc2,which acts to control the expression of lipoxygenase 3(FvLOX3),an important gene involved in JA biosynthesis and a diverse array of cellular *** data reveal a previously unreported mechanism for JA signaling and decipher a signaling cascade that links multiple signaling inputs with fruit trait development.

The red fruits of Pseudospondias microcarpa (A. Rich) Engl. are widely consumed by the populations of northern congo for their sweet and tangy flavor as well as for their characteristic smell. The objective of this study was to show the food potential of the fruits of this plant for their valorization. Organic solvent extracts were prepared and subjected to phytochemical screening to determine the nutrients and phytonutrients of this fruit. Raw juice was extracted by trituration without adding water and subjected to physicochemical and biochemical analyses in order to determine its quality and its antiradical activity. The raw juice obtained is moderately acidic (pH 3.28), very cloudy and colored (turbidity of 1019 NTU). It has a dry matter content of 3.771% ± 0.013% reflecting the 70% dominance of water in the weight of the fruit and the presence of dissolved organic matter in its juice. Energy nutrients (sugars, amino acids), carotenoids, coumarins, tannins, flavonoids, terpenes and sterols have been highlighted as nutrients with therapeutic potential commonly called phytonutrients of this fruit. The juice presented a dominance in polyphenols (134.8500 ± 0.0023 mg gallic acid/100 g) than in carotenoids (5.100 ± 0.010 mg carotene/100 g), high levels of mineral macroelements (calcium: 3570.00 ± 2.05 mg and potassium: 4576.00 ± 9.49 mg) and trace elements (copper: 11.13 ± 0.10 mg, iron: 3.02 ± 0.03 mg and zinc: 2.57 ± 0.08 mg). These compounds exhibited good antioxidant activity. The presence of these nutrients and phytonutrients in these fruits is interesting for the proper functioning of certain organs and the prevention of certain diseases. This fruit is therefore an energizing and functional food that can compete with conventional fruits whose juices are marketed.

Objective:To evaluate the photoprotective,antioxidant,antiglycation,and antiacne activities of crude extract(cESs)and triterpene saponin fraction(TSSs)of Sapindus ***:HPLc-MS purification was performed on a Symmetry TM c18 *** saponins were identified by a UV *** activity was evaluated by DPPH and O_(2)^(−)radicals scavenging,and FRAP and TBARS *** activity was assessed by relative electrophoretic mobility and inhibition of advanced glycation end products(AGEs)***,antiacne activity was determined by inhibition of cutibacterium acnes,and photoprotective effect was evaluated by Mansur’s ***:Most of the triterpene saponins detected in the fraction by HPLc-MS analysis were hederagenin as the *** and TSSs presented varying antioxidant activity in DPPH(cESs:75.69%and TSSs:83.65%),FRAP(cESs:425.39μM TE/g DW and TSSs:649.36μM TE/g DW),TBARS(cESs:42.96%and TSSs:52.16%)and O_(2)^(−)radicals scavenging(cESs:61.33%and TSSs:86.69%)*** and TSSs also exhibited antiglycation activity comparable to bovine serum albumin treated with *** addition,cESs and TSSs showed inhibition of AGE formation(34.48%and 61.85%,respectively).Antiacne activity against cutibacterium acnes was observed with a minimum inhibitory concentration equal to minimum bactericidal concentration(cESs:36.11µg/mL and TSSs:18.34µg/mL).In photoprotective assays,cESs and TSSs showed maximum absorbance of 1.42 to 0.20 and 2.80 to 1.30,respectively,in the wavelength range of 260 to 400 ***,cESs and TSSs showed sun protection factors of 8.89 and 14.89,***:Sapindus saponaria fruit extracts show strong antioxidant potential and antiglycation activity against bovine serum albumin glycation and AGE ***,they presented antibacterial activity against cutibacterium acnes and photoprotective effect against UV-A and UV-B.

＜正＞Because new rare earth materials can not only improve the chlorophyll synthesis, enzyme activity, the absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, crop matter synthesis and its growth., but also has some role of diseases resistance and improve product quality. There is 3300 ha Hongti grape, and for purpose of improving its quality, we treated the new rare earth materials to this kind of grope, and the result showed that the leaves was thicker, the plant disease index was lower, and the sweet and yield significantly increased.

Perspective Ensuring food security for a rapidly growing world population will need new *** include speed breeding and new breeding technologies,which have been established for major staple *** of woody perennial fruit tree species has progressed at a much slower pace and has met many *** fruit production will face major challenges with climate change,such as the loss of winter chilling needed for f lowering,a potential decrease in pollinator availability,and increasing pest and disease *** chinensis(kiwifruit)is an important fresh fruit crop,with varieties only several generations removed from the wild accessions and carrying only a fraction of the available genetic diversity[1,2].Improvement of traits such as fruit quality and storage,and resistance to emergent diseases underpin the breeding efforts,which are hampered by a long generation time,large plant size,dependence on chilling for budbreak and f lowering,dioecy and different ploidy *** addition to kiwifruit,the genus Actinidia consists of more than 50 species with edible fruit,all showing tremendous potential as future fruit crops[3].Their fast domestication and improvement will enable production of high-quality healthy fruit,contributing to food security in the changing climate conditions.

Hawthorns are important medicinal and edible plants with a long history of health protection in *** cultivated hawthorn,other wild hawthorns may also have excellent medicinal and edible value,such as crataegus chungtienensis,an endemic species distributed in the Southwest of *** this study,by integrating the flavor-related metabolome and transcriptome data of the ripening fruit of ***,we have developed an understanding of the formation of hawthorn fruit *** results show that a total of 849 metabolites were detected in the young and mature fruit of ***,of which flavonoids were the most detected *** the differentially accumulated metabolites,stachyose,maltotetraose and cis-aconitic acid were significantly increased during fruit ripening,and these may be important metabolites affecting fruit flavor ***,several flavonoids and terpenoids were reduced after fruit ripening compared with young ***,using the unripe fruit of *** may allow us to obtain more medicinal active ingredients such as flavonoids and ***,we screened out some differentially expressed genes(DEGs)related to fruit quality formation,which had important relationships with differentially accumulated sugars,acids,flavonoids and *** study provides new insights into flavor formation in wild hawthorn during fruit development and ripening,and at the same time this study lays the foundation for the improvement of hawthorn fruit flavor.

我省果园空地野草资源丰富,具有生长季节性优势。1982～1985年的调查表明:七个县区可供压青的野草面积达234.4万亩,年产鲜草353.3万吨。7～8月份产草量最高,养分集中,茎/叶值为0.85～1.30,c/N值为19～26,N达0.79～2.35％,是刈草的最佳季节。压1吨鲜草,相当施用173公斤化肥。因此开发利用果园空地野草资源,是改善果园土壤肥力,提高果树生产力的经济有效措施。
