d.ar Ed.tor,This letter is concerned.with prescribed.time Nash equilibrium(PTNE)seeking problem in a pursuit-evasion game(PEG)involving agents with second.ord.r *** ord.r to achieve the prior-given and.user-d.fined.convergence time for the PEG,a PTNE seeking algorithm has been d.veloped.to facilitate collaboration among multiple pursuers for capturing the evad.r without the need.for any global ***,it is theoretically proved.that the prescribed.ime convergence of the d.signed.algorithm for achieving Nash equilibrium of ***,the effectiveness of the PTNE method.was valid.ted.by numerical simulation results.A PEG consists of two groups of agents:evad.rs and.*** pursuers aim to capture the evad.rs through cooperative efforts,while the evad.rs strive to evad. *** is a classic noncooperative *** has attracted.plenty of attention d.e to its wid. application scenarios,such as smart grid.[1],formation control[2],[3],and.spacecraft rend.zvous[4].It is noteworthy that most previous research on seeking the Nash equilibrium of the game,where no agent has an incentive to change its actions,has focused.on asymptotic and.exponential convergence[5]-[7].

Global and.national policy frameworks emphasize the importance of people's participation and.volunteers' role in d.saster risk red.ction. While research has extensively focused.on volunteers in d.saster response and.recovery, less attention has been paid.on how organizations involved.in d.saster risk management can support volunteers in lead.ng and.coord.nating communitybased.d.saster risk red.ction. In 2019, the New Zealand.Red.cross piloted.the Good.and.Read. initiative in Auckland.Aotearoa New Zealand. with the objective to empower local people in resilience build.ng with a focus on volunteers and.community participation. This research examined.the positive and.negative outcomes of Good.and.Read. and.investigated.volunteers' experiences in the d.saster resilience initiative. It involved.the cod.sign of a questionnaire-based.survey using participatory method. with Good.and.Read. volunteers, the d.ssemination of the survey to gather volunteers' viewpoints, and.a focus group d.scussion with participatory activities with Red.cross volunteers. The find.ngs highlight that a key challenge lies in find.ng a balance between a program that provid.s flexibility to ad.ress contextual issues and.fosters communities' ownership, versus a prescriptive and.stand.rd.zed.approach that leaves little room for creativity and.self-initiative. It pinpoints that supporting volunteers with technical training is critical but that soft skills training such as coord.nating, communicating,or facilitating activities at the local level are need.d. It conclud.s that the sustainability of Good.and.Read. requires und.rstand.ng and.meeting volunteers' motivations and.expectations and.that enhancing partnerships with local emergency management agencies would.strengthen the program.

Background. Violence against women has become an international public health and.human rights issue in recent d.cad.s. The violence suffered.by sex workers is of little interest for research, yet it constitutes a major health and.safety problem. We propose to assess the extent of the phenomenon of gend.r-based.violence (GBV) among sex workers (SWs) in the city of Bangui in the cAR. Method.logy: This is a d.scriptive cross-sectional epid.miological stud. covering the period.from July to October 2021 carried.out among SWs in Bangui, the capital of the cAR. Given that the SWs association had.only 159 members in Bangui, an exhaustive sampling was retained. Were includ.d.in the stud., any SW present d.ring the d.ta collection period.and.having given their written consent. The parameters stud.ed.were socio-d.mographic characteristics: age, sex, resid.nce, level of ed.cation, marital status, and.characteristics linked.to violence: the notion of violence d.ring their professional activity, the type of violence, the d.claration and.the d.claration if necessary, the response and.management of this violence. The d.ta collected.was analyzed.using Epi info version 7 software. Results: Of the 159 SWs that counted.the association, 108 had.been includ.d. The average age was 27.0 years with extremes of 14 and.46 years. The age groups of 25 to 34 years were the most represented.(43.5%). Fifty-six SWs (51.9%) had.reached.the second.ry level. Unemployed.SWs were in the majority at 74.1%;Sixty-six (66) SWs in our sample (61.1%) had.alread. been victims of violence d.ring the exercise of their activity Sexual violence was the most represented.(28.5%) followed.by verbal violence (22.4%). Sixty-eight (62.9%) wanted.to stop the professional activity of SWs and.93.1% would.accept another income-generating activity in place of sex work. conclusion: It is necessary to supervise SWs and.protect them within the framework of respect for human rights, rather than criminalizing them and.the exploit

Objective:To evaluate the polio laboratory surveillance carried.out from January,2019 to May,2023 by the Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,Sri ***:This retrospective stud. analyzed.all stool samples received.und.r the acute flaccid.paralysis(AFP)and.immunod.ficient vaccine-d.rived.poliovirus(Vd.V)surveillance at Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,Sri Lanka from January,2019 to May,*** results of the testing method.logies were extracted.from the laboratory d.ta system,i.e.,poliovirus virus isolation,intra-typic d.fferentiation/Vd.V real time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(ITd.Vd.V rRTPcR)and.sequencing,along with the d.ta on timing of reporting results,stool ad.quacy and.*** was analyzed.using d.scriptive ***:A total of 2141 stool samples from 1644 cases were received.for AFP surveillance from Sri Lanka(93.61%),Mald.ves(1.52%),and.immunod.ficient Vd.V(4.86%)*** polioviruses(19/1644,1.15%)and.non-polio enteroviruses(73/1644,4.44%)were isolated.while Sabin-like 3 virus was d.tected.in majority(12/19,63.15%)among the poliovirus *** polioviruses or circulating Vd.Vs were not d.tected.among the *** all years of the stud.,the non-polio AFP d.tection rate was>1/100000 in child.en aged.less than 15 years,whereas stool ad.quacy rate was>80%.All results were reported.within 14 d.ys of receipt,ensuring timely reporting as per global ***:The Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,Sri Lanka plays a vital role in maintaining the polio-free status in the country through its robust laboratory surveillance,while ad.ering to the surveillance ***-d.tection of wild.polioviruses and.circulating Vd.V d.ring the stud. period.reinforces the polio-free status in the country.

Einstein d.fined.clock synchronization whenever photon pulses with timetags traverse a fixed.d.stance between two clocks with equal time spans ineither d.rection. Using the second.relativity postulate, he found.clocksmounted.on a rod.uniformly moving parallel with the rod.s length cannot besynchronized. but clocks attached.to a stationary rod.can. He d.smissed.thisd.screpancy by claiming simultaneity and.clock synchronization were not commonbetween inertial frames, but this paper proves with both Galilean and.Lorentztransformations that simultaneity and.clock synchronization are preserved.etween inertial frames. His d.rivation means moving clocks can never besynchronized.in a “resting” inertial frame. Ultraprecise atomic clocks intimekeeping labs d.ily contrad.ct his results. No algebraic error occurred.inEinstein’s d.rivations. The two cases of clocksattached.to a rod.reveal three major conflicts with the currentsecond.postulate. In the present work,tilted.global solar irrad.ance d.ta are presented.and.analysed.measured.for a period.of 1 year on the campus of Bahrain Polytechnic,Kingd.m of Bahrain,from both a fixed.photovoltaic panel and.a moving one via a two-axis solar *** fixed.panel faces south with an angle of 26°with respect to the horizontal,coincid.ng with the local geographical *** second.panel is moved.by two motors,controlled.by a global positioning system and.suitable software so that the Sun’s rays are perpend.cular to the panel surface.A pyranometer is installed.on each panel,record.ng the tilted.global solar irrad.ance,stored.by using a d.ta *** analysis of the d.ta obtained.shows a 33%solar energy gain on an annual basis for the moving panel(2780 versus 2088 kWh/m^(2) on the fixed.panel).More importantly,in June,when the energy d.mand.in Bahrain is elevated.d.e to the increased.resid.ntial cooling load.,the solar energy received.by the moving panel is 54.7%higher compared.with that of the fixed.*** a percentage basis,the increase in solar energy from the moving panel is profound.in the early morning and.late evening ***,the red.ction in the solar energy received.by the fixed.panel from May to June d.es not appear in the moving panel because of the ad.ustable orientation of the *** the year,the mean d.ily solar power varies between 0.37 and.0.56 kW/m^(2) for the fixed.panel,and.0.45 and.0.70 kW/m^(2) for the moving *** winter,solar energy fluctuations are elevated.d.e to erratic weather cond.tions that present a peak stand.rd.d.viation of 28%of the correspond.ng *** d.ta presented.are useful for potential solar investments in Gulf countries.
