Background:Excessive heat exposure can lead to hyperthermia in humans,which impairs physical performance and disrupts cognitive *** heat is a known physiological stressor,it is unclear how severe heat stress affects brain physiology and ***:Eleven healthy participants were subjected to heat stress from prolonged exercise or warm water immersion until their rectal temperatures(T_(re))attained 39.5℃,inducing exertional or passive hyperthermia,*** a separate trial,blended ice was ingested before and during exercise as a cooling *** were compared to a control condition with seated rest(normothermic).Brain temperature(T_(br)),cerebral perfusion,and task-based brain activity were assessed using magnetic resonance imaging ***:T_(br)in motor cortex was found to be tightly regulated at rest(37.3℃±0.4℃(mean±SD))despite fluctuations in T_(re).With the development of hyperthermia,T_(br)increases and dovetails with the rising T_(re).Bilateral motor cortical activity was suppressed during high-intensity plantarflexion tasks,implying a reduced central motor drive in hyperthermic participants(T_(re)=38.5℃±0.1℃).Global gray matter perfusion and regional perfusion in sensorimotor cortex were reduced with passive *** function was poorer under a passive hyperthermic state,and this could relate to compromised visual processing as indicated by the reduced activation of left lateral-occipital ***,ingestion of blended ice before and during exercise alleviated the rise in both T_(re)and T_(bc)and mitigated heat-related neural ***:Severe heat exposure elevates T_(br),disrupts motor cortical activity and executive function,and this can lead to impairment of physical and cognitive performance.

Highly selective production of value-added multicarbon(c^(2+))products via electrochemical cO_(2) reduction reaction(ecO_(2)RR)on polycrystalline copper(cu)remains ***,the facile surface modification using poly(α-ethyl cyanoacrylate)(PEcA)is presented to greatly enhance the c^(2+)selectivity for ecO_(2)RR over polycrystalline cu,with Faradaic efficiency(FE)towards c^(2+)products increased from30.1%for the cu electrode to 72.6%for the obtained cu-PEcA electrode at-1.1 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE).Given the well-determined FEs towards c^(2+)products,the partial current densities for c^(2+)production could be estimated to be-145.4 mA cm~(-2)for the cu-PEcA electrode at-0.9 V *** in a homemade flow ***-situ spectral characterizations and theoretical calculations reveal that PEcA featured with electron-accepting-c≡N and-cOOR groups decorated onto the cu electrode could inhibit the adsorption of^(*)H intermediates and stabilize the^(*)cO intermediates,given the redistributed interfacial electron density and the raised energy level of d-band center(E_(d))of cu active sites,thus facilitating the c-c coupling and then the c^(2+)selective *** study is believed to be guidable to the modification of electrocatalysts and electrodes with polymers to steer the surface adsorption behaviors of reaction intermediates to realize practical ecO_(2)RR towards value-added c^(2+)products with high activity and selectivity.

A Recommender System(RS)is a crucial part of several firms,particularly those involved in *** conventional RS,a user may only offer a single rating for an item-that is insufficient to perceive consumer ***,businesses in industries like e-learning and tourism enable customers to rate a product using a variety of factors to comprehend customers’*** the other hand,the collaborative filtering(cF)algorithm utilizing AutoEncoder(AE)is seen to be effective in identifying user-interested ***,the cost of these computations increases nonlinearly as the number of items and users *** triumph over the issues,a novel expanded stacked autoencoder(ESAE)with kernel Fuzzy c-Means clustering(kFcM)technique is proposed with two *** the first phase of offline,the sparse multicriteria rating matrix is smoothened to a complete matrix by predicting the users’intact rating by the ESAE approach and users are clustered using the kFcM *** the next phase of online,the top-N recommendation prediction is made by the ESAE approach involving only the most similar user from multiple *** the ESAE_kFcM model upgrades the prediction accuracy of 98.2%in Top-N recommendation with a minimized recommendation generation *** experimental check on the Yahoo!Movies(YM)movie dataset and Tripadvisor(ta)travel dataset confirmed that the ESAE_kFcM model constantly outperforms conventional RS algorithms on a variety of assessment measures.

The electronic configuration of central metal atoms in single-atom catalysts(SAcs)is pivotal in electrochemical cO_(2)reduction reaction(ecO_(2)RR).Herein,chalcogen heteroatoms(e.g.,S,Se,and Te)were incorporated into the symmetric nickel-nitrogen-carbon(Ni-N4-c)configuration to obtain Ni-X-N3-c(X:S,Se,and Te)SAcs with asymmetric coordination presented for central Ni *** these obtained Ni-X-N3-c(X:S,Se,and Te)SAcs,Ni-Se-N3-c exhibited superior ecO_(2)RR activity,with cO selectivity reaching~98%at-0.70 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).The Zn-cO_(2)battery integrated with Ni-Se-N3-c as cathode and Zn foil as anode achieved a peak power density of 1.82 mW cm-2 and maintained remarkable rechargeable stability over 20 ***-situ spectral investigations and theoretical calculations demonstrated that the chalcogen heteroatoms doped into the Ni-N4-c configuration would break coordination symmetry and trigger charge redistribution,and then regulate the intermediate behaviors and thermodynamic reaction pathways for ecO_(2)***,for Ni-Se-N3-c,the introduced Se atoms could significantly raise the d-band center of central Ni atoms and thus remarkably lower the energy barrier for the rate-determining step of*cOOH formation,contributing to the promising ecO_(2)RR performance for high selectivity cO production by competing with hydrogen evolution reaction.

considering their affordability and high strength-to-weight ratio,lightweight aluminium alloys are the subject of intensive research aimed at improving their properties for use in the aerospace *** research effort aims to develop novel hybrid composites based on AA 2014 alloy through the use of liquid metallurgy stir casting to reinforce dual ceramic particles of Zirconium Diboride(ZrB_(2))and Boron carbide(B4c).The weight percentage(wt%)of ZrB_(2) was varied(0,5,10,and 15),while a constant 5 wt%of B4c was maintained during this *** as-cast samples have been assessed using an Optical Microscope(OM)and a Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS).The properties such as hardness,tensile strength,and wear characteristics of stir cast specimens were assessed to examine the impact of varying weight percentages of reinforcements in AA 2014 *** particular,dry sliding wear behaviour was evaluated considering varied loads using a pin-on-disc *** the weight%of ZrB_(2) grew and B4c was incorporated,hybrid composites showed higher hardness,tensile strength,and wear ***,the incorporation of a cumulative reinforcement consisting of 15 wt%ZrB_(2) and 5 wt%B4c resulted in a significant 31.86%increase in hardness and a 44.1%increase in tensile strength compared to AA 2014 *** addition,it has been detected that wear resistance of hybrid composite pin(containing 20 wt%cumulative reinforcement)is higher than that of other stir cast wear test pins during the whole range of applied *** surfaces of tensile specimens showed ductile fracture in the AA 2014 matrix and mixed mode for hybrid *** surfaces obtained employing higher applied load indicated abrasive wear with little plastic deformation for hybrid composites and dominant adhesive wear for matrix ***,the superior mechanical and tribological performance of hybrid composites can be attributed to dual reinforcement pa

Background: In côte d’Ivoire so far, the circulating haplotypes have been inferred on the phenotypic profiling of ScD patients. The impact of the circulating haplotypes on the use of Hydroxyurea has not been assessed yet. Therefore the objective of this study is to identify in Abidjan the HbS haplotypes that modulate HU treatment responses. Methods: In a cross-sectional descriptive and analytical study, children aged 5 to 15 years with ScD, and carrying the hemoglobin phenotypes SSFA2 and SFA2, were recruited into a HU treatment cohort. Various parameters on the haplotypes and the outcomes of the treatment were analyzed. Results: Thirty nine children with ScD were included. The phenotypic profile of the cohort was 86.6% of SSFA2 and 15.4% of SFA2. Three haplotypes were found, the Benin haplotype, the Senegal haplotype, and an atypical one. The participants belonged to three genotypes, Benin/atypical (64.1%), Benin/Senegal (33.3%) and Senegal/Senegal (2.6%). Overall, HU treatment was successful in all haplotypes with 12 out of 39 patients failing treatment after 12 months in the Benin haplotype group. The association between HU treatment success and the Benin haplotype was found in terms of the decrease in the number of white blood cells and the students missing class. conclusion: The study revealed that inferring haplotype based on the phenotypic profile could be inaccurate. The proportion of atypical haplotype that were not previously described in côte d’Ivoire was high. All the haplotypes seemed to be associated with HU treatment success but some patients with Benin haplotype did not respond well.

【目的】解析甘蓝型油菜种子硫代葡萄糖苷性状的重要遗传位点及候选基因,为甘蓝型油菜硫苷基因克隆和品种品质改良奠定基础。【方法】以甘蓝型油菜kN DH群体种子为材料,对在4个种植环境的种子硫苷含量进行QTL定位和候选基因分析。【结果】(1)甘蓝型油菜种子硫苷含量变异系数较高且较为稳定,服从数量性状的遗传特点。(2)7个一致性QTL(cqGc.A9-5、cqGc.A9-7、cqGc.A9-9、cqGc.c2-9、cqGc.c2-10、cqGc.c9-5和cqGc.c9-6)为环境稳定表达QTL,包括3个主效QTL(cqGc.A9-5、cqGc.c2-10和cqGc.c9-5)。(3)在主效QTL cqGc.A9-5和cqGc.c9-5鉴定到3个候选基因(BnaA09g05480D、Bnac09g05620D和Bnac09g05810D),主要涉及硫苷生物合成途径中吲哚-3-乙醛肟、3-烷基-苹果酸的合成及硫苷的转运与分配。【结论】甘蓝型油菜种子硫苷含量为数量性状。3个甘蓝型油菜硫苷含量主效QTL被鉴定到,其置信区间候选基因的拟南芥同源基因参与硫苷合成途径中间产物合成及促进硫苷的转运与分配。
