Although perovskite solar cells(PScs)have ac.i.ved a high power conversion efficiency(PcE)within a short period of development,the high-temperature sintering of the constituent electron-selec.i.e layers(ESLs)impedes the *** this report,we demonstrate the effec.i.eness of an intensepulsed-light(iPL)treatment for the rapid and damage-free sintering of amorphous-SnO_(2)ESLs for use in *** iPL treatment of amorphous-SnO_(2)substantially reduced the amount of surface hydroxyl groups,modified the surface energy,and enabled the growth of a low-stress perovskite layer with large grain sizes,all of which enhanced the photovoltaic properties and led to the proper alignment of band structures for efficient *** comprehensive optimization of the iPL conditions,a PcE of 17.68%was ac.i.ved from the MAPb i3 planar PSc based on an amorphous-SnO_(2)iPL treated for a few tens of seconds,which was significantly increased compared with a PcE(7.06%)of nontreated SnO_(2)based *** addition,the PcE of the iPL-treated SnO_(2)based PSc.i. comparable to the best PcE(18.16%)of PScs fabricated with SnO_(2)ESL annealed for three hours at 185℃.Because of its ultrafast sintering time and tendency to not damage SnO_(2)ESLs,the new iPL process is expected to open new opportunities for the commercialization of PScs.

Proximal tubule(PT)transports most of the renal ca^(2+),which was usually desc.i.ed as paracellular(passive).We found a regulated ca^(2+)entry pathway in PT cells via the apical transient receptor potential canonical 3(TRPc3)channel,which initiates transcellular ca^(2+)*** TRPc3 knockout(−/−)mice were mildly hypercalciuric and displayed luminal calcium phosphate(caP)crystals at Loop of Henle(LOH),no caP+calcium oxalate(caOx)mixed urine crystals were spotted,which are mostly found in calcium nephrolithiasis(caNL).Thus,we used oral calcium gluconate(caG;2%)to raise the PT luminal[ca^(2+)]o further in TRPc3−/−mice for developing such mixed stones to understand the mechanistic role of PT-ca^(2+)signaling in ***,caG-treated mice urine samples presented with numerous mixed crystals with remains of PT cells,which were pronounced in TRPc3−/−mice,indicating PT cell ***,PT cells from caG-treated groups switched their mode of ca^(2+)entry from receptor-operated to store-operated pathway with a sustained rise in intracellular[ca^(2+)]([ca^(2+)]i),indicating the stagnation in PT ca^(2+)***,those PT cells from caG-treated groups demonstrated an upregulation of calcification,inflammation,fibrotic,oxidative stress,and apoptotic genes;effects of which were more robust in TRPc3 ablated ***,kidneys from caG-treated groups exhibited fibrosis,tubular injury and calcifications with significant reac.i.e oxygen species generation in the urine,thus,indicating in vivo *** together,excess PT luminal ca^(2+)due to escalation of hypercalciuria in TRPc3 ablated mice induced surplus caP crystal formation and caused stagnation of PT[ca^(2+)]i,invoking PT cell injury,hence mixed stone formation.

Understanding charge transport mechanisms in thin-film transistors based on random networks of single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWcNT-TFTs)is essential for further advances to improve the potential for various nanoelectronic ***,a comprehensive investigation of the two-dimensional(2D)charge transport mechanism in SWcNT-TFTs is reported by analyzing the temperature-dependent electrical characteristics determined from the direct-current and non-quasi-static transient measurements at 80-300 *** elucidate the time-domain charge transport characteristics of the random networks in the SWcNTs,an empirical equation was derived from a theoretical trapping model,and a carrier velocity distribution was determined from the differentiation of the transient ***,charge trapping and de-trapping in shallow-and deep-traps in SWcNT-TFTs were analyzed by investigating charge transport based on their trapping/de-trapping *** comprehensive analysis of this study provides fundamental insights into the 2D charge transport mechanism in TFTs based on random networks of nanomaterial channels.

The durability performance of reinforced concrete(Rc)building structures is significantly affected by the corrosion of the steel reinforcement due to chloride penetration,thus,the chloride ion diffusion coefficient should be investigated through experiments or theoretical equations to assess the durability of an Rc *** study aims to predict the chloride ion diffusion coefficient of concrete,a heterogeneous material.A convolutional neural network(cNN)-based regression model that learns the condition of the concrete surface through deep learning,is developed to efficiently obtain the chloride ion diffusion *** the model implementation to determine the chloride ion diffusion coefficient,concrete mixes with w/c ratios of 0.33,0.40,0.46,0.50,0.62,and 0.68,are cured for 28 days;subsequently,the surface image data of the specimens are ***,the proposed model predicts the chloride ion diffusion coefficient using the concrete surface image data and exhibits an error of approximately 1.5E−12 m^(2)/*** results suggest the applicability of proposed model to the field of facility maintenance for estimating the chloride ion diffusion coefficient of concrete using images.

Objec.i.e: To identify the source of infec.i.n and determine the c.i.ical features and laboratory finding of measles infec.i.n,Methods: in 27 measles patients,except for 3 adult patients,the rest of 24 pediatric measles cases were analyzed with regard to age,sex,immunization status,transmission routes and molecular genotyping of measles virus,Eighteen measles patients who admitted in isolation ward were set apart to investigate c.i.ical findings and its correlation with laboratory characteristics,Retrospec.i.e analysis of cases was conducted in this study,Results: Of the 24 pediatric patients,23(95.8%) had not rec.i.ed any measles-containing vac.i.e(McV),Sixteen of the patients(66.7%) were aged icious index case of a girl aged 34 months was not vac.i.ated with McV1 and got measles after a trip to Philippines,and molecular genotype was revealed as B3,Measles outbreaks in the community such as a restaurant were followed by this one imported case,According to analysis of 18 patients admitted in isolation ward,the median level of c-reac.i.e protein(cRP) was 0.38 mg/d L and that of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) was 1 200 iU/L,All of the 18 patients had LDH levels above the normal range,Age correlated with cRP(ρ = 0.528,P = 0.024) and LDH(ρ = 0.501,P = 0.034),The duration of fever was correlated with the duration of fever before rash(ρ = 0.898,P ion of hospitalization was correlated with cRP(ρ = 0.586,P = 0.011),The white blood cell counts were correlated with the levels of LDH(ρ = 0.505,P = 0.033),aspartate aminotransferase(ρ = 0.507,P = 0.032),and alanine aminotransferase(ρ = 0.481,P = 0.043),conclusions: Early weaning of maternally derived measles antibodies therefore vac.i.ation of McV1 at a young age from 9 months to 12 months should be considered in situations of early exposure,Furthermore there is a call for consideration of scheduling an earlier age for the first dose of MMR vac.i.e in Europe,it is necessary for Korea to investigat

Tumor-protein 53(p53)is a transc.i.tion factor(TF)encoded by TP53(Trp53 in mice)and is a master regulator of tumor-suppressive programs'.importantly,TP53 is the most frequently mutated gene in human cancer,and its loss of func.i.n contributes to tumor development,exemplified by variable p53 mutations detected in 50%-75%of pancreatic cancers.2 From these perceptions,a number of targets transc.i.ed by p53 that confer tumor suppression have been ***,our understanding of how p53 prevents normal cells from initiating tumorigenesis is still *** complement this limitation,herein,we established a new approach to identify underlying effectors transc.i.ed by p53 in normal physiology.

Abiotic stress confers serious damage to the photosynthetic mac.i.ery,often resulting in plant growth *** chloroplast open reading frame 3(Ycf3)-interac.i.g protein 1(Y3iP1)is a nucleus-encoded thylakoid protein and plays an essential role in the assembly of photosystem *** full-length cDNA over-expresser(FOX)gene-hunting system is an approach using systemically generated gain-of-func.i.n *** the FOX-rice lines,a line cE175 overexpressing rice Y3iP1gene(Os Y3iP1)displayed less inhibition of root growth under saline(Nacl)*** expression of Os Y3iP1 was up-regulated under saline and alkaline(Na2cO3)stresses in the rice variety *** saline and alkaline treatments,transgenic Kitaake overexpressing OsY3iP1-GFP(OsY3iP1-GFPox/Kit)displayed higher levels of chlorophyll content compared to *** the stress conditions,the maximum quantum yield of photosystem ii photochemistry levels was higher in OsY3iP1-GFPox/Kit than in *** increased tolerance conferred by OsY3iP1 overexpression correlated with reduced reac.i.e oxygen species *** data provide new insights into the possible role of OsY3iP1 in the pathway suppressing photooxidative damage under stress *** features can be further exploited to improve saline and alkaline tolerances of rice plants in future.

Zinc.i.n batteries(ZiBs) are promising alternative energy storage devices to lithium-ion batteries owing to the merits of large abundance,high theoretical capacity,and environmental ***,c.i.ical challenges including low working voltage(below 2 V),low energy density as well as dendrites formation during long cyc.i.g caused by aqueous ZiB systems still hinder their prac.i.al ***,a high-voltage Zn-graphite battery(ZGB) based on a non-zinc.i.n single-salt electrolyte(2.5 M LiPF6 in carbonate solvent) is ***,we surprisingly found that Zn^(2+) is dissolved in the LiPF6 single-salt electrolyte during resting and discharging processes,thus enabling reversible Zn plating/stripping mechanism on the Zn foil anode in the ZGB over the voltage window of 1.0-3.1 *** a result,the ZGB ac.i.ves long-term cyc.i.g performance with a capacity retention of ~100% for over1200 cycles at 3 c and high coulombic efficiency of ~100% in 1.0-3.1 V with no dendrites ***,the ZGB exhibits a high working voltage of up to 2.2 V,thus contributing to both high energy density(up to 210 Wh kg^(-1)) and high power density(up to 1013 W kg^(-1)),superior than most reported ZiBs.

Human induced pluripotent stem cells(hiPS cells or hiPScs) can be derived from cells of patients with severe muscle disease. if skeletal muscle induced from patientiPScs shows disease-specific phenotypes, it can be useful for studying the disease pathogenesis and for drug development. On the other hand, human iPScs from healthy donors or hereditary muscle diseaseiPScs whose genomes are edited to express normal protein are expected to be a cell source for cell therapy. Several protocols for the derivation of skeletal muscle from human iPScs have been reported to allow the development of efficient treatments for devastating muscle diseases. in 2017, the focus of research is shifting to another stage:(1) the establishment of mature myofibers that are suitable for study of the pathogenesis of muscle disease;(2) setting up a highthroughput drug screening system; and(3) the preparation of highly regenerative, non-oncogenic cells in large quantities for cell transplantation, etc.
