Objec.ive To investigate the in vivo immunomodulatory and anti-tumor mechanisms of the combined treatment of novel Four-Herb formula(4HF)and doxorubicin in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBc).Methods Murine-derived triple-negative mammary carcinoma cell line,4T1 cells,was cultured and inoculated into mouse mammary ***-six mice were randomly assigned into 6 groups(n=11 in ench):naive,control,LD 4HF(low dose 4HF),HD 4HF(high dose 4HF),LD 4HF+D(low dose and doxorubicin),and D(doxorubicin).Apart from the naive group,each mouse rec.ived subcutaneous inoculation with 5×10^(5)4T1 cells resuspended in 100µL of normal saline in the mammary fat *** from the day of tumor cell inoculation,tumors were grown for 6 *** LD and HD groups rec.ived daily oral gavage of 658 and 2,630 mg/kg 4HF,*** LD 4HF+D group rec.ived daily oral gavage of 658 mg/kg 4HF and weekly intraperitoneal injec.ion of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The D group rec.ived weekly intraperitoneal injec.ions of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The treatment naive mice rec.ived daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double distilled water and 0.1 mL normal saline via intraperitoneal injec.ion once a *** control group rec.ived daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double-distilled *** treatment period was 30 *** the end of treatment,mice organs were harvested to analyze immunological ac.ivities via immunophenotyping,gene and multiplex analysis,histological staining,and gut microbiota *** Mice treated with the combination of 4HF and doxorubicin resulted in significantly reduced tumor and spleen burdens(Pia and overall immune lymphocyte landscape,and manipulated gut microbiota to favor the anti-tumor immunological ***,immunosuppressive genes,cytokines,and chemokines such as c-c motif chemokine 2 and interleukin-10 of tumors were significantly downregulated(Picin combination treatment demonstrated synergetic ac.ivities and was most effec.ive

Water plays a vital role in biological metabolism and it would be essential to trace the water content non-invasively,such as leveraging the vibrational absorption peak of the O-H ***,due to the lack of an efficient laser source,it was challenging to image the water content in the deep tissue with micron-level spatial *** address this problem,we develop a high-power hybrid optical parametrically-oscillating emitter(HOPE)at 1930 nm,at which the vibrational absorption peak of the O-H bond *** maximum pulse energy is over 1.74μJ with a pulse repetition rate of 50 kHz and a pulse width of 15 *** employ this laser source in the optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy(OR-PAM)system to image the water content in the phantom and the biological tissue in *** 1930-nm OR-PAM could map the water content in the complex tissue environment at high spatial resolution,deep penetration depth,improved sensitivity,and suppressed artifact signal of the lipid.

Objec.ive:To investigate the impact of different magnetic field strengths and orientations on the dose deposition from lateral opposing photon beams irradiating a laryngeal geometry,with particular attention focused on the dose homogeneity of the area around the air cavity inside the ***:Geant4 simulation toolkit was used to perform Monte carlo simulations on a phantom resembling the *** energy spectrum of a 6 MV photon beam from a Varian c.inac.iX mac.ine was used to provide the source of *** configurations of the Magnetic Resonance image-Guided Radiation Therapy(MRigRT)system were simulated:the Fixed cylindrical(Fc)geometry,the Longitudinal Rotating Biplanar(LRBP)geometry,and the Transverse Rotating Biplanar(TRBP)*** magnetic fields of different field strengths were *** relative dose maps and the homogeneity index(Hi)were obtained for ***:The LRBP geometry together with a magnetic field strength of 0.5 T produced the most homogeneous dose distribution with a Hi of 0.139 for the region of interest around the air cavity,compared with a Hi of 0.180 when the magnetic field was *** TRBP geometry,the dose distribution shifted towards the cranial direc.ion,leading to a region of hot spots at the superior edge and a region of cold spots at the inferior edge of the irradiated *** Hi around the air cavity was therefore *** addition,strong electron streaming effect(ESE)was *** the Fc geometry,hot and cold spots were formed around the air cavity which increased the ***:Out of the three configurations of the MRigRT systems,the LRBP geometry produced the most c.inically beneficial dose distribution in which it provided a higher dose to the treatment area and a boost in dose to the tissue immediately adjacent to the air cavity.

Soliton explosions,among the most exotic dynamics,have been extensively studied on parameter invariant stationary ***,the explosion dynamics are still largcly unexplored in breathing dissipative solitons as a dynamic solution to many nonlincar ***,we report on the first observation of a breathing dissipative soliton explosion in a nct-normal-dispersion bidirec.ional ultrafast fiber *** breathing soliton explos ionscould be stimulated by the soliton buildup process or alteration of polarization *** breathing soliton pairs with intensive repulsion that is sensitive to initial conditions can also be triggered by multiple soliton explosions in the soliton buildup process instead of being triggered by varying polarization *** high bchavior similarity also exists in the breathing soliton buildup and explosion process owing to the common gain and loss *** addition,dissipative rogue waves were detected in the breathing soliton explosion,and the collision of breathing soliton significantly enhanced the amplitude of rogue waves,which is characteristic of the breathing solitons in a bidirec.ional fiber *** results shed new insights into complex dissipative soliton dynamics.

High-energy all-fiber gain-switched thulium-doped fiber laser for volumetric photoacoustic.imaging of lipids

We demonstrate a high-energy all-fiber short wavelength gain-switched thulium-doped fiber laser for volumetric photoacoustic(PA)imaging of *** laser cavity is constructed by embedding a short piece of gain fiber between a pair of fiber Bragg gratings(FBGs).Through using three pairs of FBGs with operation wavelengths at1700,1725,and 1750 nm,three similar lasers are realized with a cavity length of around 25 *** a maximum pump energy of 300μJ at 1560 nm,laser pulse energies of 58.2,66.8,and 75.3μJ are,respec.ively,ac.ieved with a minimum pulse width ofition rate of 10 *** imaging of lipids is validated through scanning a fat beef slice with a PA microscopy system incorporated with the newly developed source,and a lateral resolution of 18.8μm and an axial resolution of 172.9μm are ***,the higher shooting speed of the developed source can potentially allow for increasing at twice the frame rate of current intravascular PA imaging.
