The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 geV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

A trigger system is typically employed in active seismic testing to trigger and synchronize multichannel surface wave data *** effect of the trigger system on the dispersion image of surface waves is empirically known to be negligible,however,theoretical explanation regarding the effect of the trigger system is *** study systematically examines the theory for surface wave dispersion analysis and proves that the effect of the trigger system on a dispersion image is negligible via a solid theoretical ***,based on the new theoretical explanation,an alternative method that uses only the relative phase difference between sensors to extract dispersion characteristics with better conceptual clarity is *** active surface wave testing cases are considered to validate the theory and *** results indicate that(1)an accurate trigger system is not necessary for surface wave data acquisition,and(2)it is unnecessary to assume that the impact point is the generation point of the surface waves for the experimental dispersion analysis.

geographic simulation models can be used to explore and better understand the geographical environment. Recent advances in geographic and socio-environmental research have led to a dramatic increase in the number of models used for this purpose. Some model repositories provide opportunities for users to explore and apply models,but few provide a general evaluation method for assessing the applicability and rec.g.ition of models. In this study,an academic impact evaluation method for models is proposed. Five indices are designed based on their pertinence. The analytical hierarchy process is used to calculate the index weights,and the academic impacts of models are quantified with the weighted sum method. The time range is controlled to evaluate the life-term and annual academic impacts of the models. Some models that met the evaluation criteria from different domains are then evaluated. The results show that the academic impact of a model can be quantified with the proposed method,and the major research areas that models impact are identified.

In the Triassic suture between the Sino-Korean and Yangtze cratons,the Qinling-Dabie metamorphic complex includes three tectonic units: a northern migmatitic terrane（ P central UHP coesite- and diamondbearing eclogite belt（20;40 kb）,and a southern HP blueschist-eclogite belt（5;12 kb）. Protoliths include continental basement of late Archean to Proterozoic.g.anitic.g.eiss complexes,and mid-to late Proterozoic bimodal volcanics,platform carbonates,and turbidite sequences including peraluminous sediments. Some early Paleozoic rocks are included as protoliths in the HP belt. The metamorphic complex is segmented into several large blocks by NE-SW trending faults. Three（ Dabie,Hongan and Wudan） occur in central china,and an eastern extension,the Su-Lu block is displaced to the north by the Tanlu fault. The UHP rocks are best exposed in the Dabie and Su-Lu blocks,whereas HP blueschists occur throughout the Hongan and Wudan blocks. Widespread occurrence of conjugate faults in the metamorphic complex suggests differential doming after tectonic juxtaposition of the UHP and HP units at shallow crustal levels. Eclogites of the UHP belt occur as blocks in ultramafic rocks,marble and gneiss and as thin layers interbedded with gneiss; some contain coesite and coesite pseudomorphs in garnet,omphacite,kyanite and epidote. Microdiamond inclusions in garnet have been reported. c-type glaucophane-bearing eclogites are restricted to the Hongan HP belt and contain paragonite instead of kyanite. The coherent HP terrane displays progressive zonation from transitional blueschist / greenschist,through greenschist and epidote amphibolite to eclogite assemblages. The UHP and HP belts possess similar metamorphic trends,deformation features and record clockwise P-T paths.
