Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have dominated the portable electronic and electrochemical energy markets since their commercialisation,whose high cost and lithium scarcity have prompted the development of other alkali-ion batteries(AIBs)including sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).Owing to larger ion sizes of Na^(+)and K^(+)compared with Li^(+),nanocomposites with excellent crystallinity orientation and well-developed porosity show unprecedented potential for advanced lithium/sodium/potassium *** enticing open rigid framework structures,Prussian blue analogues(PBAs)remain promising self-sacrificial templates for the preparation of various nanocomposites,whose appeal originates from the well-retained porous structures and exceptional electrochemical activities after thermal *** review focuses on the recent progress of PBA-derived nanocomposites from their fabrication,lithium/sodium/potassium storage mechanism,and applications in AIBs(LIBs,SIBs,and PIBs).To distinguish various PBA derivatives,the working mechanism and applications of PBA-templated metal oxides,metal chalcogenides,metal phosphides,and other nanocomposites are systematically evaluated,facilitating the establishment of a structure–activity correlation for these *** on the fruitful achievements of PBA-derived nanocomposites,perspectives for their future development are envisioned,aiming to narrow down the gap between laboratory study and industrial reality.

Refractory lipoatrophy treated with autologous whole blood injection:A case report

BAcKGROUND Intramuscular corticosteroid injection may cause adverse effects such as dermal and/or subcutaneous atrophy,alopecia,hypopigmentation,and *** cutaneous atrophy can spontaneously resolve,several treatment options have been suggested for this *** SUMMARY In this paper,we report a case of corticosteroid injection induced lipoatrophy treated with autologous whole blood(AWB)injection,as the condition had been unresponsive to fractional laser therapy.A 29-year-old female patient visited the dermatology clinic complaining of skin depression on her right buttock area,which had appeared six months *** had been only subtle improvement at the margins after fractional cO_(2) laser treatment;therefore,after obtaining informed consent from the patient,AWB treatment was *** month after the first AWB injection,the size and depth of the lesion had noticeably improved,and a slight improvement was also observed in *** close observation is the initial treatment of choice for steroid induced skin atrophy;however,for patients in need of immediate cosmetic improvement,AWB injection may be a safe and cost-effective alternative.

The design optimization of thermal-driven actuators is a challenging task because the performance depends on multiple materials parameters,structural parameters,and working *** this work,we adopted large scale finite element simulation together with machine learning algorithm to fulfill the on-demand design of thermal *** element analysis was used to simulate the performance of thermal actuator with two-layer structure,which generated large amount of dataset by considering the variation of parameters including the moduli,thermal expansion coeffic.ent,sample thickness and length,and *** vector regression(SVR)was adopted to establish the relationship between multiple input parameters and the resulting contact ***,a simple interior point algorithm was used to achieve the on-demand design based on the SVR *** contact pressures of thermal actuator constructed from the optimized parameters deviated less than 15%of the target values.

BAcKGROUND Intracranial hemorrhage is extremely rare during the initial stages of ***,we report a case of glioma with unclassified pathology and intracranial *** SUMMARY After the second surgery for intracerebral hemorrhage,the patient experienced weakness in the left arm and leg,but could walk *** month after discharge,the weakness in the left limbs had exacerbated and the patient also suffered from headaches and dizziness.A third surgery was ineffective against the rapidly growing *** hemorrhage may be the initial symptom of glioma in some rare cases,and atypical perihematomal edema can be used for diagnosis during an *** histological and molecular features seen in our case were similar to that of glioblastoma with a primitive neuronal component,which is termed diffuse glioneuronal tumor with features similar to oligodendroglioma and nuclear clusters(DGONc).The patient underwent three surgeries to remove the *** first tumor resection had been performed when the patient was *** of the hemorrhage and bone disc decompression were performed when the patient was *** month after the last discharge,the patient underwent neuronavigation-assisted resection of the right frontotemporal parietal lesion plus extended flap *** the 50^(th)d after the third operation,computed tomography imaging showed rapid tumor growth accompanied by brain *** patient was discharged and died 3 d *** Glioma can present as bleeding in the initial stage and should be considered in such a *** have reported a case of DGONc,which is a rare molecular subtype of glioma with a unique methylation profile.

An Effective Medium Approximation of Nonlinear composites with Spherical Particle

We have proposed a nonlinear effective medium approximation(EMA)method to estimate the bulk effective conductivities of weakly nonlinear composite media,which obey a current-field relation of the form J=σE+X|E|2 *** an example in three dimensions,we apply the EMA method to deal with a spherical inclusion in a host and derive the approximate analytic formulas of nonlinear effective response,which are suitable for the larger volume fraction of spherical *** our results,we can exactly obtain the generalized Landau formulas in the dilute limit.

In inverted perovskite solar cells (PScs),effective modification of the interface between the metalcathode and electron transport layer (ETL) is crucial forachieving high performance and stability. Herein, sulfonatedbathocuproine, commonly known as disodium bathocuproinedisulfonate (BcDS), was employed as a cathode buffer layerto address the interfacial issues at the [6,6]-phenyl-c61-butyricacid methyl ester (PcBM)/Ag interface. BcDS possesses theability to form coordinate bonds with Ag electrodes. Theutilization of the BcDS buffer layer enhanced the chargeextraction capability at the cathode interface whilesimultaneously achieving interfacial defect passivation,improving interfacial contact and increasing the built-in electricfield. consequently, a power conversion effic.ency (PcE) of25.06% was achieved. Furthermore, owing to the excellent filmforminguniformity of BcDS on PcBM, the stability of thedevice was also improved. After storage in dry air for morethan 2000 h, the device maintained 96% of its initial effic.ency. This work underscores the remarkable potential of tailoringcoordination groups to enhance charge extraction effic.ency at the ETL-cathode interface, unveiling a promising newfrontier in buffer layer development and performance optimization strategies for PScs.
