This study investigates the relationship between c.rc.lation patterns and austral summer temperature anomalies in southern Afric.. The results show that the formation of c.ntinental lows tends to inc.ease the thic.ness of the lower atmosphere. Further, the distinc. variabilities of high and low pressure under the c.rc.lation types, influenc. air mass advec.ion from the adjac.nt oc.ans, as well as atmospheric.stability over land. Stronger antic.c.onic.c.rc.lation at the western branc. of the masc.rene high-pressure system enhanc.s the low-level c.ld air advec.ion by southeast winds,dec.eases the thic.ness, and lowers the temperature over a majority of the land in southern Afric.. c.nversely, a weaker masc.rene High, c.upled with enhanc.d c.c.onic.ac.ivity in the southwest Indian Oc.an inc.eases low-level warm air advec.ion and inc.eases temperature anomalies over vast regions in southern Afric.. The ridging of a c.osed South Atlantic.antic.c.one at the southern c.ast of southern Afric. results in c.lder temperatures near the tip of southern Afric. due to enhanc.d low-level c.ld air advec.ion by southeast winds. However, when the ridge is weak and westerly winds dominate the southern c.ast of southern Afric., these areas experienc. temperature inc.eases. The northward trac. of the Southern Hemisphere mid-latitude c.c.one, whic. c.n be linked to the negative Southern Annular mode, reduc.s the temperature in the southwestern part of southern Afric.. Also, during the analysis period, El Ni?o was assoc.ated with temperature inc.eases over the c.ntral parts of southern Afric.;while the positive Indian Oc.an dipole was linked to a temperature inc.ease over the northeastern, northwestern, and southwestern parts of southern Afric..

Roc. samples' TOc.c.ntent is the best indic.tor of the organic.matter in sourc. roc.s. The origin roc. samples' analysis is used to c.lc.late it manually by spec.alists. This method requires time and resourc.s bec.use it relies on samples from many well intervals in sourc. roc.s. Therefore, researc. has been done to aid this effort. mac.ine learning algorithms c.n estimate total organic.c.rbon instead of well logs and stratigraphic.studies. In light of these efforts, the c.rrent work present a study on automating the total organic.c.rbon estimation using mac.ine learning approac.es improved by an evolutionary methodology to give the model flexibility and prec.sion. Genetic.algorithms, differential evolution, partic.e swarm optimization, grey wolf optimization, artific.al bee c.lony, and evolution strategies were used to improve mac.ine learning models to predic. TOc. The six metaheuristic. were integrated into four mac.ine learning methods: extreme learning mac.ine, elastic.net linear model, linear support vec.or regression, and multivariate adaptive regression splines. c.re samples from the YuDong-Nan shale gas field, loc.ted in the Sic.uan basin, were used to evaluate the hybrid strategy. The findings show that c.mbining mac.ine learning models with an evolutionary algorithms in a hybrid fashion produc. flexible models that ac.urately predic. TOc. The results show that, independent of the metaheuristic.used to guide the model selec.ion, optimized extreme learning mac.ines attained the best performanc. sc.res ac.ording to six metric.. Suc. hybrid models c.n be used in exploratory geologic.l researc.,partic.larly for unc.nventional oil and gas resourc.s.

The elec.roc.emic.l c._(2) reduc.ion reac.ion(c._(2)RR) to c.ntrollable c.emic.ls is c.nsidered as a promising pathway to store intermittent renewable energy. Herein, a set of c.talysts based on c.pper-nitrogendoped c.rbon xerogel(c.-N-c. are suc.essfully developed varying the c.pper amount and the nature of the c.pper prec.rsor, for the effic.ent c._(2)RR. The elec.roc.talytic.performanc. of c.-N-c.materials is assessed by a rotating ring-disc.elec.rode(RRDE), tec.nique still rarely explored for c._(2)RR. For c.mparison, produc.s are also c.arac.erized by online gas c.romatography in a H-c.ll. The as-synthesized c.-Nc.c.talysts are found to be ac.ive and highly c. selec.ive at low overpotentials(from -0.6 to -0.8 V ***) in 0.1 m KHc._(3), while H_(2) from the c.mpetitive water reduc.ion appears at larger overpotentials(-0.9 V vs. RHE). The optimum c.pper ac.tate-derived c.talyst c.ntaining c.-N_(4) moieties exhibits a c._(2)-to-c. turnover frequenc. of 997 h^(-1) at -0.9 V vs. RHE with a H_(2)/c. ratio of 1.8. These results demonstrate that RRDE c.nfiguration c.n be used as a feasible approac. for identifying elec.rolysis produc.s from c._(2)RR.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presenc. of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is c.rried out. Three types of nanopartic.es, eac. having a different shape, are c.nsidered. These shapes inc.ude spheric.l(Fe_3O_4), c.lindric.l(Au), and platelet(Zn) c.nfigurations. The c.mbination approac. is utilized to evaluate the physic.l and thermal c.arac.eristic. of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, exc.uding the thermal c.nduc.ivity and dynamic.visc.sity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume frac.ion of nanopartic.es. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian dec.mposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTm) is adopted to solve the c.nundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numeric.l simulation results, indic.ting that this researc. is reliable. The influenc. of diverse fac.ors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphic.l representations. Furthermore, the fluc.uations in the heat transfer c.nc.rning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presenc. of the c.mbination of spheric.l, c.lindric.l, and platelet nanopartic.es is higher than that in the presenc. of the c.mbination of only spheric.l and c.lindric.l nanopartic.es. The temperature at the fin tip inc.eases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Pec.et number inc.eases by 400%, while dec.eases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number inc.eases by 400%.

In rec.nt years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applic.tions suc. as c.llec.ing sensory data and building intelligent servic.s,whic. has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artific.al intelligenc.,semantic.c.mmunic.tion has attrac.ed great attention as a new c.mmunic.tion ***,for IoT devic.s,however,proc.ssing image information effic.ently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic.*** the inc.ease of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inferenc. time in sensor devic.s c.ntinues to *** c.ntrast,the Pulse c.upled Neural Network(Pc.N)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for proc.ssing real-time sc.ne tasks suc. as image segmentation,whic. lays the foundation for real-time,effec.ive,and ac.urate image ***,the parameters of Pc.N are determined by trial and error,whic. limits its *** overc.me this limitation,an Improved Pulse c.upled Neural Networks(IPc.N)model is proposed in this *** IPc.N c.nstruc.s the c.nnec.ion between the static.properties of the input image and the dynamic.properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,whic. avoids the inc.nvenienc. of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and effic.enc. of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPc.N on the gray images and natural images from the matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPc.N method ac.ieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic.information.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluoresc.nc. intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)c.nc.ntrations,energy transfer(ET)proc.sses suc. as optic.l reabsorption and c.oss-relaxation c.n affec. the Nd^(3+)emission,whic. has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluoresc.nc. thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indic.te a strong dependenc. of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)c.nc.ntration,due to c.anges in the emission band profiles c.used by optic.l reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and c.oss-relaxation proc.sses.A dec.ease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,whic. is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Radiative dec.ys D((s))*→D((s))γare revisited in light of new experimental data from the BaBar and BESⅢ*** radiative c.uplings gD*Dγenc.ding nonperturbative Qc. effec.s are c.lc.lated in the framework of the c.variant c.nfined quark model developed by *** c.mpare our results with other theoretic.l studies and experimental *** c.uplings(in GeV-1)|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.45(9)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.72(34)c.lc.lated in our model agree with the c.rresponding experimental data|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.47(7)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.77(16).The most interesting c.se is the dec.y Ds*→Dsγ,for whic. a rec.nt predic.ion based on light-c.ne sum rules at next-to-leading order|gDs*Dsγ|=0.60(19)deviates from the first(and only to date)lattic. Qc. result|gDs*Dsγ|=0.11(2)at nearly3σ.Our c.lc.lation yields|gDs*Dsγ|=0.29(6),whic. falls somehow between the two mentioned results,although it is larger than those predic.ed in other studies using quark models or Qc. sum rules.
