The main goal of the present work is a unitary approach of the physical origin of the corrections to the magnetic moment of free and bound electron. Based on this approach, estimations of lowest order corrections were easily obtained. In the non-relativistic limit, the Dirac electron appears as a distribution of charge and current extended over a region of linear dimension of the order of Compton wavelength, which generates its magnetic moment. The e.m. mass (self-energy) of electron outside this region does not participate to this internal dynamics, and consequently does not contribute to the mass term in the formula of the magnetic moment. This is the physical origin of the small increase of the magnetic moment of free electron compared to the value given by Dirac equation. We give arguments that this physical interpretation is self-consistent with the QED approach. The bound electron being localized, it has kinetic energy which means a mass increase from a relativistic point of view, which determines a magnetic moment decrease (relativistic Breit correction). On the other hand, the e.m. mass of electron decreases at the formation of the bound state due to coulomb interaction with the nucleus. We estimated this e.m. mass decrease of bound electron only in its internal dynamics region, and from it the corresponding increase of the magnetic moment (QED correction). The corrections to the mass value are at the origin of the lowest order corrections to the magnetic moment of free and bound electron.

According to the proposed hypothesis, graphic characters trigger the subcortical visual route. The reaction discussed is very weak. Yet, its very existence has an unusual importance: characters and (occluded) venomous snakeskin patterns reveal themselves as conflatable. Furthermore, following tractogra- phic research, a functional segregation of the subcortical pathway is to be presupposed. Thus, there can’t be a later dissociation of two stimuli previously associated. The outcomes of lecture will gradually appear probabilistically (much) more peaceful than encountering a venomous snake, though, and thus a continuous lessening of the reaction is expectable. Here, on one hand, it is relevant that the subcortical visual pathway goes to the amygdala. The reactions we describe tap into goal-oriented processes, and they will do that unfettered. On the other hand, in the case of characters, since the beginning, fear has been converted into appetition to a great degree. This process should be fostered in the presence of light. In this way, luminosity might become a conditioned stimulus for attraction. In this case, a Pavlovian addiction for light will foster, yet also—from the point of view of reward feeling—counterbalance the lessening of the stimulation elicited by characters. The addiction we refer to is one towards light accompanied by graphic signs. Yet, as opposed to the case of the luminous medium, the attention captured by the later ones taken for themselves is continuously reduced.

Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension consists of a group of diseases characterized by signs and complications of portal hypertension,which differ from cirrhosis through histological alterations,hemodynamic characterization and,clinical *** of the similarities in clinical presentation and imaging signs,frequently these patients,and particularly those with porto-sinusoidal vascular disease(PSVD),are misdiagnosed as having liver cirrhosis and thus raising difficulties in their *** most challenging differentiation to be considered is between PSVD and cirrhosis and,although not pathognomonic,liver biopsy is still the standard of *** they still require extended validation before being broadly used,new non-invasive methods for the diagnosis of porto-sinusoidal vascular disease,like transient elastography,contrast-enhanced ultrasound or metabolomic profiling,have shown promising *** issue is the differentiation between PSVD and chronic extrahepatic portal vein obstruction,especially now when it is known that 40%of patients suffering from PSVD develop portal vein *** this particular case,once the portal vein thrombosis occurred,the diagnosis of PSVD is impossible according to the current ***,so far,the differentiation between PSVD and sinusoidal obstruction syndrome has not been clear so far in particular *** this review we highlighted the diagnostic challenges regarding the PSVD,as well as the current techniques used in the evaluation of these patients.

In the North-East of the Moldavian Platform, the upper Badenian is composed of three lithologic units, on top of which there is Limestones and Marls with Lithothamnium Formation. At the level of this formation, the geological research conducted in four localities near the Prut Valley demonstrated, based on two new foraminifera genera identified in this area--Oolina and Velapertina-favorable conditions for the development of the stenohaline fauna, a marine shelf environment with warm water, as well as the certitude regarding the age of the late Badenian for these. These results were not previously reported in this area.

Axonal degeneration is a pivotal feature of many neurodegenerative conditions and substantially accounts for neurological morbidity. A widely used experimental model to study the mechanisms of axonal degeneration is Wallerian degeneration （WD）, which occurs after acute axonal injury. In the peripheral nervous system （PNS）, WD is characterized by swift dismantling and clearance of injured axons with their myelin sheaths. This is a prerequisite for successful axonal regeneration. In the central nervous system （CNS）, WD is much slower, which significantly contributes to failed axonal regeneration. Although it is well documented that Schwann cells （SCs） have a critical role in the regenerative potential of the PNS, to date we have only scarce knowledge as to how SCs ＇sense＇ axonal injury and immediately respond to it. In this regard, it remains unknown as to whether SCs play the role of a passive bystander or an active director during the execution of the highly orchestrated disintegration program of axons. Older reports, together with more recent studies, suggest that SCs mount dynamic injury responses minutes after axonal injury, long before axonal breakdown occurs. The swift SC response to axonal injury could play either a pro degenerative role, or alternatively a supportive role, to the integrity of distressed axons that have not yet committed to degenerate. Indeed, supporting the latter concept, recent 昀ndings in a chronic PNS neurodegeneration model indicate that deactivation of a key molecule promoting SC injury responses exacerbates axonal loss. If this holds true in a broader spectrum of conditions, it may provide the grounds for the development of new glia-centric therapeutic approaches to counteract axonal loss.

The systemic nature of cirrhosis and portal hypertension has long been recognized,and the amount of data characterizing the interplay between each system is becoming ever so *** involvement was among the first described associated entities in cirrhosis,with reports dating back to the late nineteenth ***,it appears that throughout the years,interest in the pulmonary complications of portal hypertension has generally faded,especially in contrast to other decompensating events,as expertise in this field has primarily been concentrated in highly experienced tertiary care facilities and liver transplantation *** affecting up to 10%-15%of patients with advanced liver disease and having a proven prognostic impact,hepato-pulmonary syndrome,porto-pulmonary hypertension,and hepatic hydrothorax are frequently misdiagnosed,mistreated,or *** lack of precision might adversely impact patient care,referral to expert centers,and,ultimately,liver disease-related mortality and successful transplantation *** present minireview aims to increase awareness of the pulmonary complications of chronic liver disease by providing a brief overview of each of the three *** paper focuses on the essential theoretical aspects,addressing the most critical knowledge gaps on the one hand and,on the other hand,critically discussing one key issue for each complication.
