Characteristics and mechanism of smart fluid for sweep-controlling during CO_(2) flooding

A smart response fluid was designed and developed to overcome the challenges of gas channeling during CO_(2)flooding in low-permeability,tight oil *** fluid is based on Gemini surfactant with self-assembly capabilities,and the tertiary amine group serves as the response *** responsive characteristics and corresponding mechanism of the smart fluid during the interaction with CO_(2)/oil were studied,followed by the shear characteristics of the thickened aggregates obtained by the smart fluid responding to CO_(2).The temperature and salt resistance of the smart fluid and the aggregates were evaluated,and their feasibility and effectiveness in sweep-controlling during the CO_(2)flooding were *** research reveals:(1)Thickened aggregates could be assembled since the smart fluid interacted with CO_(2).When the mass fraction of the smart fluid ranged from 0.05%to 2.50%,the thickening ratio changed from 9 to 246,with viscosity reaching 13 to 3100 *** a result,the sweep efficiency in low-permeability core models could be increased in our experiments.(2)When the smart fluid(0.5%to 1.0%)was exposed to simulated oil,the oil/fluid interfacial tension decreased to the level of 1×10^(-2)mN/***,the vesicle-like micelles in the smart fluid completely transformed into spherical micelles when the fluid was exposed to simulated oil with the saturation greater than 10%.As a result,the smart fluid could maintain low oil/fluid interfacial tension,and would not be thickened after oil exposure.(3)When the smart fluid interacted with CO_(2),the aggregates showed self-healing properties in terms of shear-thinning,static-thickening,and structural integrity after several shear-static ***,this fluid is safe to be placed in deep reservoirs.(4)The long-term temperature and salt resistance of the smart fluid and thickened aggregates have been confirmed.

Background:Early singular nodular hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is an ideal surgical indication in clinical ***,almost half of the patients have tumor recurrence,and there is no reliable prognostic prediction ***,it is unclear whether preoperative neoadjuvant therapy is necessary for patients with early singular nodular HCC and which patient needs *** is critical to identify the patients with high risk of recurrence and to treat these patients preoperatively with neoadjuvant therapy and thus,to improve the outcomes of these *** present study aimed to develop two prognostic models to preoperatively predict the recurrence-free survival(RFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with singular nodular HCC by integrating the clinical data and radiological ***:We retrospective recruited 211 patients with singular nodular HCC from December 2009 to January 2019 at Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital(EHBH).They all met the surgical indications and underwent radical *** randomly divided the patients into the training cohort(n=132)and the validation cohort(n=79).We established and validated multivariate Cox proportional hazard models by the preoperative clinicopathologic factors and radiological features for association with RFS and *** analyzing the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,the discrimination accuracy of the models was compared with that of the traditional predictive ***:Our RFS model was based on HBV-DNA score,cirrhosis,tumor diameter and tumor capsule in *** nomogram had fine calibration and discrimination capabilities,with a C-index of 0.74(95%CI:0.68-0.80).The OS nomogram,based on cirrhosis,tumor diameter and tumor capsule in imaging,had fine calibration and discrimination capabilities,with a C-index of 0.81(95%CI:0.74-0.87).The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)of our model was larger than that of traditional liver cancer staging system,Korea model and N

Perovskite crystal facets greatly impact the performance and stability of their corresponding photovoltaic *** to the(001)facet,the(011)facet yields better photoelectric properties,including higher conductivity and enhanced charge carrier ***,achieving(011)facet-exposed films is a promising way to improve device ***,the growth of(011)facets is energetically unfavorable in FAPbI_(3) perovskites due to the influence of methylammonium chloride ***,1-butyl-4-methylpyridinium chloride([4MBP]Cl)was used to expose(011)***[4MBP]^(+)cation selectively decreases the surface energy of the(011)facet enabling the growth of the(011)***[4MBP]^(+)cation causes the perovskite nuclei to rotate by 45°such that(011)crystal facets stack along the out-of-plane ***(011)facet has excellent charge transport properties and can achieve better-matched energy level *** addition,[4MBP]Cl increases the activation energy barrier for ion migration,suppressing decomposition of the *** a result,a small-size device(0.06 cm2)and a module(29.0 cm2)based on exposure of the(011)facet achieved power conversion efficiencies of 25.24%and 21.12%,respectively.

Background and Aims:To validate prognostic performance of the China liver cancer(CNLC)staging system as well as to compare these parameters with those of the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC)staging system for Chinese hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)treated with transarterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods:This multicenter retrospective study included 1,124 patients with HCC between January 2012 and December 2020 from six Chinese *** on overall survival(OS),the prognostic performance outcomes for the CNLC and BCLC staging systems were compared by model discrimination[C statistic and Akaike information criterion(AIC)],monotonicity of the gradient(linear trend chi-square test),homogeneity(likelihood ratio chisquare test),and calibration(calibration plots).A prospective cohort of 44 patients receiving TACE-based therapy included between January 2021 and December 2022 was used to prospectively validate the ***:Median OS was 19.1(18.2–20.0)months,with significant differences in OS between stages defined by the CNLC and BCLC observed(pding model discrimination(C-index:0.661 vs.0.644;AIC:10,583.28 vs.10,583.72),model monotonicity of the gradient(linear trend chi-square test:66.107 vs.57.418;pbining model discrimination,gradient monotonicity,homogeneity,and calibration,the CNLC performed better than the BCLC for Chinese HCC patients receiving TACE.

目的探讨头针联合三维步态分析训练系统治疗脑梗死患者下肢运动功能障碍的临床疗效。方法选择2022年6月—2023年6月皖北煤电集团总医院收治的脑梗死后下肢运动功能障碍患者60例,随机分成对照组和观察组各30例。对照组给予常规康复训练+三维步态训练治疗,观察组在对照组治疗基础上联合头针治疗,2组均治疗4周。观察比较2组患者治疗前后步态分析参数、改良Asworth肌张力量表评分、徒手肌力评定量表(MMT)评分、改良Barthel指数(MBI)评分、运动学参数、脑血流动力学参数,评估2组临床疗效。结果 2组患者治疗后步速、步频、跨步长、步长、步宽及MMT评分、MBI评分均明显增高,最大髋关节屈曲角度、最大膝关节屈曲角度、最大踝关节背屈和跖屈角度均明显增大,双侧大脑中动脉最大峰值流速(Vs)、平均流速(Vm)均明显加快,且观察组上述各指标较对照组改善更明显,差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05);2组患者治疗后步态周期、双支撑时间、Asworth评分、血管阻力指数(RI)均明显降低(P均<0.05),且观察组均明显低于对照组(P均<0.05);观察组总有效率明显高于对照组[93.3%(28/30)比70.0%(21/30),P<0.05]。结论头针联合三维步态分析训练系统能够明显提高脑梗死后下肢运动功能障碍患者下肢肌张力、肌力及生活能力,并能明显改善脑血流动力学,从而促进患者运动功能恢复。

Atmospheric transmission algorithm for pulsed X-rays from high-altitude nuclear detonations based on scattering correction

In high-altitude nuclear detonations,the proportion of pulsed X-ray energy can exceed 70%,making it a specific monitoring signal for such *** pulsed X-rays can be captured using a satellite-borne X-ray detector following atmospheric *** quantitatively analyze the effects of different satellite detection altitudes,burst heights,and transmission angles on the physical processes of X-ray transport and energy fluence,we developed an atmospheric transmission algorithm for pulsed X-rays from high-altitude nuclear detonations based on scattering *** proposed method is an improvement over the traditional analytical method that only computes direct-transmission *** traditional analytical method exhibits a maximum relative error of 67.79% compared with the Monte Carlo *** improved method reduces this error to within 10% under the same conditions,even reaching 1% in certain ***,its computation time is 48,000 times faster than that of the Monte Carlo *** results have important theoretical significance and engineering application value for designing satellite-borne nuclear detonation pulsed X-ray detectors,inverting nuclear detonation source terms,and assessing ionospheric effects.

A Reliability Analysis of Calculated Results for Odd-Even and Odd-Odd Nuclei in Relativistic Mean-Field Theory

We calculate the binding energies of Ni, Cu, Xe, Cs, Pt, Au, Np, Pu isotope chains using two interaction parameter sets NL-3 and NL-Z, and compared the relative errors of the even-even nuclei with those of odd-even nuclei and odd-odd nuclei. We find that the errors of binding energy of odd-even and odd-odd nuclei are not bigger than the one of even-even nuclei. The result shows that comparing with even-even nuclei, there is no systematic error and approximation in the calculations of the binding energy of odd-even and odd-odd nuclei with relativistic mean-field theory. In addition, the result is explained theoretically.
