Compressive property and energy absorption characteristic of interconnected porous Mg-Zn-y alloys with adjusting y addition

In this study,interconnected porous Mg-2Zn-xy alloys with different phase compositions were prepared by various y additions(x=0.4,3,and 6 wt.%)to adjust the compressive properties and energy absorption *** characterization methods were then applied to identify the microstructure of the porous Mg-Zn-y and describe the details of the second *** tests were performed at room temperature(RT),200℃,and 300℃to study the impact of the y addition and testing temperature on the compressive properties of the porous *** experimental results showed that a high y content promotes a microstructure refinement and increases the volume fraction of the second *** the y content increases,different Mg-Zn-y ternary phases appear:I-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(6)y),W-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)y_(2)),and LPSO phase(Mg_(12)Zny).When the y content ranges between 0.4%and 6%,the compressive strength increases from 6.30MPa to 9.23 MPa,and the energy absorption capacity increases from 7.33 MJ/m^(3)to 10.97 MJ/m^(3)at RT,which is mainly attributed to the phase composition and volume fraction of the second ***,the average energy absorption efficiency is independent of the y *** addition,the compressive deformation behaviors of the porous Mg-Zn-y are altered by the testing *** compressive strength and energy absorption capacity of the porous Mg-Zn-y decrease due to the softening effect of the high temperature on the *** deformation behaviors at different temperatures are finally observed to reflect the failure mechanisms of the struts.

Conductive grease has been considered as a potential solution in addressing electric erosion issue inside motor *** the conductive grease performance,especially the electric and tribological behaviour is crucial for its *** paper combines bulk grease characterization and contact film study considering both electrical and tribological loading *** results show that the electric performance for the selected conductive grease sample is electric field dependent,including both frequency and voltage *** film impedance inside the contact area is closely related to the external electric field,running condition,and lubrication *** following film impedance calculation tells that not only bulk grease electric parameters,but the contact parameter,lubricant film contour and lubrication condition should be considered when performing the overall bearing electrical modelling.

Rare earth inorganic-organic hybrid compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxometalate {SiW_(12)} with fast-responsive photochromism and switchable luminescence properties

Four rare earth inorganic-organic hybrid compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxometalate {SiW_(12)}with general formula [{RE(DMF)_(4)(H_(2)O)_4RE(DMF)_(6)}_(2){SiW_(12)O_(40)}_(3)](RE = La(1),Pr(2),Sm(3),Eu(4),DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide) were synthesized by the conventional solution *** analyses indicate that four compounds are isostructural and are all built from three [SiW_(12)O_(40)]^(4-) polyoxoanions and DMF ligands linked by RE^(3+).Compounds 1-4 are extremely sensitive to UV light and present excellent photochromic properties,in which the coloring and fading time of samples are both no more than 2 min,and the reversible coloring-fading process can be repeated for at least 10 cycles with little fatigue,suggesting that compounds 1-4 can be a series of fast-responsive and durable photochromic ***,the solid-state photoluminescence spectra of compounds 3(Sm) and 4(Eu)display strong characteristic emissions of rare earth ions based on f-f ***,compound4(Eu) has a longer fluorescence lifetime up to 566.74 μ***,co mpounds 3(Sm) and 4(Eu) exhibit the switchable luminescence behavior induced by photochromism,which allows them to be used as potential molecular switches.

Effect of chemical regulators on the recovery of leaf physiology,dry matter accumulation and translocation,and yield-related characteristics in winter wheat following dry-hot wind

Dry-hot wind stress causes losses in wheat productivity in major growing regions worldwide,especially winter wheat in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain of China,and both the occurrence and severity of such events are likely to increase with global climate *** investigate the recovery of physiological functions and yield formation using a new noncommercial chemical regulator(NCR)following dry-hot wind stress,we conducted a three-year field experiment(2018-2021)with sprayed treatments of tap water(control),monopotassium phosphate(CKP),NCR at both the jointing and flowering stages(CFS),and NCR only at the jointing stage(FSJ)or flowering stage(FSF).The leaf physiology,biomass accumulation and translocation,grain-filling process,and yield components in winter wheat were *** the single spraying treatments,the FSJ treatment was beneficial for the accumulation of dry matter before anthesis,as well as larger increases in the maximum grain-filling rate and mean grain-filling *** FSF treatment performed better in maintaining a high relative chlorophyll content as indicated by the SPAD value,and a low rate of excised leaf water loss in flag leaves,promoting dry matter accumulation and the contribution to grain after anthesis,prolonging the duration of grain filling,and causing the period until the maximum grain-filling rate reached *** CFS treatment was better than any other treatments in relieving the effects of dry-hot *** exogenous NCR treatments significantly increased grain yields by 12.45-18.20% in 2018-2019,8.89-13.82% in 2019-2020,and 8.10-9.00% in *** conventional measure of the CKP treatment only increased grain yield by 6.69% in *** CFS treatment had the greatest mitigating effect on yield loss under dry-hot wind stress,followed by the FSF and FSJ treatments,and the CKP treatment only had a minimal *** summary,the CFS treatment could be used as the main chemical control measure for wheat stress resistance and yield

Leptin Modulates the Differentiation of Keratinocytes via Autophagy in Psoriasis Patients with Metabolic Syndrome

Objective: Psoriasis is associated with a high prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MS), and patients with concomitant psoriasis and MS are more severely affected and less responsive to treatment. However, the molecular mechanisms behind these effects are unknown. Recent studies have shown that leptin may serve as a molecular link between psoriasis and MS, suggesting that high leptin concentrations may exacerbate psoriasis. However, the molecular mechanism of this effect is still unclear. We aimed to investigate the effect of leptin on autophagy in patients with psoriasis. Methods: From January 2021 to June 2022 in PLA General Hospital, we enrolled 51 patients with psoriasis, including 21 patients with MS and 30 without MS, and 30 healthy controls who had undergone nevus surgery. We measured the epidermal leptin, P62, and LC3b concentrations of patients by immunohistochemistry, and measured the serum leptin concentration by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. We then performed correlation analyses to compare these proteins' concentrations between patients with concomitant psoriasis and MS, patients with psoriasis alone, and healthy control groups. Additionally, we performed western blotting after in vitro culture of HaCaT cells with different concentrations of leptin and measured the expression levels of the autophagy markers beclin1, LC3b, and P62; the differentiation markers K10, K16, and K17; and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway-related proteins of HaCat cells. Next, we transfected ATG5 into HaCaT cells to revert autophagy and used the specific PI3K inhibitor Ly294002 to block PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling. The expression levels of K10, K16, and K17 of HaCat cells were again measured. One-way analysis of variance was used for the comparison of means of multiple samples, and LSD-t post hoc test was used for comparison between the 2 groups. Nonlinear empirical failure criterion for rocks under triaxial compression
