Malaria is a severe epidemic disease caused by Plasmodium *** parasite causes critical illness if persisted for longer durations and delay in precise treatment can lead to further *** automatic diagnostic model provides aid for medical practitioners to avail a fast and efficient *** of the existing work either utilizes a fully connected convolution neural network with successive pooling layers which causes loss of information in ***,convolutions can capture spatial invariances but,cannot capture rotational *** to overcome these limitations,this research,develops an Imperative Dynamic routing mechanism with fully trained capsule networks for malaria *** model identifies the presence of malaria parasites by classifying thin blood smears containing samples of parasitized and healthy *** proposed model is compared and evaluated with novel machine vision models evolved over a decade such as VGG,ResNet,DenseNet,*** problems in previous research are cautiously addressed and overhauled using the proposed capsule network by attaining the highest Area under the curve(AUC)and Specificity of 99.03%and 99.43%respectively for 20%test *** understand the underlying behavior of the proposed network various tests are conducted for variant shuffle *** model is analyzed and assessed in distinct environments to depict its resilience and *** provide greater generalization,the proposed network has been tested on thick blood smear images which surpassed with greater performance.

Open Air Interface(OAI)alliance recently introduced a new disaggregated Open Radio Access Networks(O-RAN)framework for next generation telecommunications and *** disaggregated architecture is open,automated,software defined,virtual,and supports the latest advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence(AI)Machine Learning(AI/ML).This novel intelligent architecture enables programmers to design and customize automated applications according to the business needs and to improve quality of service in fifth generation(5G)and beyond 5G(b5G).Its disaggregated and multivendor nature gives the opportunity to new startups and small vendors to participate and provide cheap hardware software solutions to keep the market *** paper presents the disaggregated and programmable O-RAN architecture focused on automation,AI/ML services,and applications with Flexible Radio access network Intelligent Controller(FRIC).We schematically demonstrate the reinforcement learning,external applications(xApps),and automation steps to implement this disaggregated O-RAN *** idea of this research paper is to implement an AI/ML enabled automation system for software defined disaggregated O-RAN,which monitors,manages,and performs AI/ML-related services,including the model deployment,optimization,inference,and training.

This article presents an in-depth exploration of the acoustofluidic capabilities of guided flexural waves(GFWs)generated by a membrane acoustic waveguide actuator(MAWA).by harnessing the potential of GFWs,cavity-agnostic advanced particle manipulation functions are achieved,unlocking new avenues for microfluidic systems and lab-on-a-chip *** localized acoustofluidic effects of GFWs arising from the evanescent nature of the acoustic fields they induce inside a liquid medium are numerically investigated to highlight their unique and promising *** traditional acoustofluidic technologies,the GFWs propagating on the MAWA’s membrane waveguide allow for cavity-agnostic particle manipulation,irrespective of the resonant properties of the fluidic ***,the acoustofluidic functions enabled by the device depend on the flexural mode populating the active region of the membrane *** demonstrations using two types of particles include in-sessile-droplet particle transport,mixing,and spatial separation based on particle diameter,along with streaming-induced counter-flow virtual channel generation in microfluidic PDMS *** experiments emphasize the versatility and potential applications of the MAWA as a microfluidic platform targeted at lab-on-a-chip development and showcase the MAWA’s compatibility with existing microfluidic systems.

In this paper, we have applied the Lie algebraic model to nano-bio molecules to determine the vibrational spectra of different stretching and bending vibrational modes. The determined vibrational energy levels by the Lie algebraic model are compared with the experimental data. The results from the theoretical mode[ are consistent with the experimental data. The vibrational energy levels are clustering in the excited states.

A new variant of friction-assisted process named friction surface alloying(FSA)for developing surface alloys was demonstrated in the present *** FSA,the dispersed phase is melted and allowed to react with the matrix material to form an alloy at the surface of a metallic *** the present work,magnesium(Mg)sheets and zinc(Zn)powder were selected,and fine grained(~3.5μm)Mg–Zn surface alloy with improved hardness was produced by FSA.X-ray diffraction studies confirmed the formation of intermetallic phases of Mg and Zn at the *** the in vitro degradation studies carried out by immersing in simulated body fluids,a lower corrosion rate was observed for the Mg–Zn surface alloy compared with pure *** surface morphologies after immersion studies indicated large degraded areas on the base Mg compared with Mg–*** results demonstrate the potential of FSA in developing Mg-based surface alloys without melting the substrate to impart better surface properties.

Flow, thermal, and vibration analysis using three dimensional finite element analysis for a flux reversal generator

This paper presents the simulation of major mechanical properties of a flux reversal generator （FRG） viz., computational fluid dynamic （CFD）, thermal, and vibration. A three-dimensional finite element analysis （FEA） based CFD technique for finding the spread of pressure and air velocity in air regions of the FRG is described. The results of CFD are mainly obtained to fine tune the thermal analysis. Thus, in this focus, a flow analysis assisted thermal analysis is presented to predict the steady state temperature distribution inside FRG. The heat transfer coefficient of all the heat producing inner walls of the machine are evaluated from CFD analysis, which forms the main factor for the prediction of accurate heat distribution. The vibration analysis is illustrated. Major vibration sources such as mechanical, magnetic and applied loads are covered elaborately which consists of a 3D modal analysis to find the natural frequency ofFRG, a 3D static stress analysis to predict the deformation of the stator, rotor and shaft for different speeds, and an unbalanced rotor harmonic analysis to find eccentricity of rotor to make sure that the vibration of the rotor is within the acceptable limits. Harmonic analysis such as sine sweep analysis to identify the range of speeds causing high vibrations and steady state vibration at a mode frequency of 1500 Hz is presented. The vibration analysis investi- gates the vibration of the FRG as a whole, which forms the contribution of this paper in the FRG literature.

DEAR EDITOR,big cats,such as Amur tigers(Panthera tigris altaica)and Amur leopards(*** orientalis),are apex predator and have evolved specialized traits for hunting and carnivory(Moya et al.,2022),thus playing a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem integrity by regulating prey-predator ***,human-induced pressures,habitat fragmentation,and environmental alterations have restricted these species in small and isolated ***,all extant big cats are categorized as endangered or threatened according to their conservation *** tigers and Amur leopards share overlapping geographic ranges,habitats,and certain prey species in the forests of Northeast Asia(Jiang et al.,2015).To reduce interspecies conflict,these carnivores exhibit differentiated dietary and temporal *** tigers predominantly prey on large ungulates,while Amur leopards hunt small to medium-sized animals(Sugimoto et al.,2016).Additionally,they occupy different temporal niches,with tigers being active at night and leopards more active during the *** spatial and temporal niche partitioning,interspecific competition between these two species is ***,benefiting from their greater size,have a competitive advantage over leopards,which can manifest in occasional leopard predation by tigers and declines in leopard populations with increasing tiger density(Jiang et al.,2015).Tigers also displace leopards from marginal habitats in nature reserves where they coexist.

Pathogenesis of achalasia cardia

Achalasia cardia is one of the common causes of motor *** the disease was first described more than 300 years ago,exact pathogenesis of this condition still remains ***,achalasia cardia is caused by loss of inhibitory ganglion in the myenteric plexus of the *** the initial stage,degeneration of inhibitory nerves in the esophagus results in unopposed action of excitatory neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine,resulting in high amplitude non-peristaltic contractions(vigorous achalasia);progressive loss of cholinergic neurons over time results in dilation and low amplitude simultaneous contractions in the esophageal body(classic achalasia).Since the initial description,several studies have attempted to explore initiating agents that may cause the disease,such as viral infection,other environmental factors,autoimmunity,and genetic *** Chagas disease,which mimics achalasia,is caused by an infective agent,available evidence suggests that infection may not be an independent cause of primary achalasia.A genetic basis for achalasia is supported by reports showing occurrence of disease in monozygotic twins,siblings and other first-degree relatives and occurrence in association with other genetic diseases such as Down's syndrome and Parkinson's *** in genes encoding for nitric oxide synthase,receptors for vasoactive intestinal peptide,interleukin 23 and the ALADIN gene have been ***,studies on larger numbers of patients and controls from different ethnic groups are needed before definite conclusions can be ***,the disease is believed to be multi-factorial,with autoimmune mechanisms triggered by infection in a genetically predisposed individual leading to degeneration of inhibitory ganglia in the wall of the esophagus.

Large inter annual variation in air quality during the annual festival ‘Diwali' in an Indian megacity

A network of air quality and weather monitoring stations was established under the System of Air Quality Forecasting and Research（SAFAR） project in Delhi. We report observations of ozone（O_3）, nitrogen oxides（NO_x）, carbon monoxide（CO） and particulate matter（PM_2.5and PM_（10）） before, during and after the Diwali in two consecutive years, i.e., November 2010 and October 2011. The Diwali days are characterised by large firework displays throughout India. The observations show that the background concentrations of particulate matter are between 5 and 10 times the permissible limits in Europe and the United States. During the Diwali-2010, the highest observed PM_（10） and PM_2.5mass concentration is as high as2070 μg/m^3 and 1620 μg/m3, respectively（24 hr mean）, which was about 20 and 27 times to National Ambient Air Quality Standards（NAAQS）. For Diwali-2011, the increase in PM_（10） and PM_2.5mass concentrations was much less with their peaks of 600 and of 390 μg/m^3 respectively, as compared to the background concentrations. Contrary to previous reports,firework display was not found to strongly influence the NO_x, and O_3 mixing ratios, with the increase within the observed variability in the background. CO mixing ratios showed an increase. We show that the large difference in 2010 and 2011 pollutant concentrations is controlled by weather parameters.

Entropy generation analysis of tangent hyperbolic fluid in quadratic boussinesq approximation using spectral quasi-linearization method

In many industrial applications,heat transfer and tangent hyperbolic fluid flow processes have been garnering increasing attention,owing to their immense importance in technology,engineering,and *** processes are relevant for polymer solutions,porous industrial materials,ceramic processing,oil recovery,and fluid *** present tangent hyperbolic fluid flow and heat transfer model accurately predicts the shear-thinning phenomenon and describes the blood flow ***,the entropy production analysis of a non-Newtonian tangent hyperbolic material flow through a vertical microchannel with a quadratic density temperature fluctuation(quadratic/nonlinear boussinesq approximation)is performed in the present *** impacts of the hydrodynamic flow and Newton’s thermal conditions on the flow,heat transfer,and entropy generation are *** governing nonlinear equations are solved with the spectral quasi-linearization method(SQLM).The obtained results are compared with those calculated with a finite element method and the bvp4c *** addition,the effects of key parameters on the velocity of the hyperbolic tangent material,the entropy generation,the temperature,and the Nusselt number are *** entropy generation increases with the buoyancy force,the pressure gradient factor,the non-linear convection,and the Eckert *** non-Newtonian fluid factor improves the magnitude of the velocity *** power-law index of the hyperbolic fluid and the Weissenberg number are found to be favorable for increasing the temperature *** buoyancy force caused by the nonlinear change in the fluid density versus temperature improves the thermal energy of the system.
